I heard of and seen this place for so long but I've never had a chance to visit them till today! I got the fried rice plate with bacon! $10 for the fried rice and $4 more for 3 strips of back, I'd like to see a little more bacon for $4 dollars but whatever! The food was made to order and very hot when I got it. Had my nephew with me and I didn't think he'd like the fried rice because it had a lot of pepper but he couldn't resist how yummy it made the car smell and he help me and loved it!

Tucked away by Nimitz warehouse. Good for early morning breakfast. Service was fast and the chef very friendly. The rice fluffy the meats just the way I like it with a little char for crisp. A place for a quick grab and go in the morning. No waiting. A hidden gem

Early morning breakfast plates! So good! Food comes out freshly cooked and fast. Service is quick. Always cooked with the perfect char to it! Easy to miss but if you're in the area don't sleep on it! Opens Monday - Saturday 430am- 11am

This is my go to spot for breakfast before work! He opens at 4:30a and takes phone orders as well as walk ups. I suggest calling in your order cuz he gets pretty busy. I've tried pretty much every thing on the menu. Breakfast plates $6 comes with your choice of meat, 2 eggs, and 2 scoops rice. Both fried rice and kimchee fried rice plates are mean. Locomoco is good but doesn't have mac salad In the plate lol. Breakfast sandwiches are grilled and also yummy. Only thing I don't recommend is his saimin. It's an instant korean ramen for $7(not worth it). Would be a little better if he spruced it up with green onions, spam, and eggs lol. Over all tho this breakfast truck is a diamond in the rough.

Needed some fried rice before hopping on a flight. The second I opened the plate I knew I found the right spot. Fried Rice was the bomb. Mahalo, brother.

I normally get the breakfast special that is fast quick and a no brainer for morning fuel. Call ahead. Parking is blah. This place feeds the working people of mapunapuna Today I paid $11 for the corn beef fried rice breakfast with over easy eggs. It was a little pricey but very delicious and exactly what I wanted. It always gets the job done

First time, here when you reach the corner of Mapunapuna Street and Awaawaloa Street. You can see it from the corner that it's a white food truck on Awaawaloa Street on the sidewalk. A lot of people that works in the industrial area knows about this food truck and they are constantly coming to buy breakfast and going to work after. There is only street parking and a lot of them just park wherever they can. 1) choose your meat 2) scramble or over easy 3) rice or toast. It's only $4.50!! Also, If you want coffee with it then 50 cents more. So, $5.00 total and that's an awesome deal for a regular sized breakfast. There is sandwiches and some other food choices for breakfast and for lunch besides the $4.50 Breakfast Special which is the best to order. From now on, when I am passing that area in the morning or lunch time during work time. I will definitely go look and see if there is parking and If I find a parking. Then I will go there for a cheap, good breakfast!

I Love this stationed food truck for 4.5-$6 breakfast. The owner cooks everything fresh. Takes about 10 mins if you don't call in.

Needed to get a quick bite after a long day soaking in the beach before heading back to our hotel…read moreroom. Stumbled upon a couple of food areas and decided to go with CJ's New York Style Deli & Restaurant. It seemed very inviting and there was a lot of space in the dining area. We went with a couple of plates. Chicken wings, garlic shrimp and their homemade sliders. It wasn't that busy on a Monday night so the food was out pretty fast and we went back to the hotel to eat. The chicken wings were okay, seemed like they were a bit overcooked and on the smaller size. They lady at the front recommended their Polynesian sauce which is similar to an asian zing. It was okay and just used the ranch dipping sauce instead. The garlic shrimp was just not hitting. I didn't expect it to be like a local shrimp truck quality but it just didn't have enough of a garlic taste and was kind of bland. The sliders were my favorite of the 3 and we mopped that one quick! The fries were also decent and nothing special. I probably would come back if i was in the area but may want to try out the other food restaurants the area as well.

We were promptly seated outside which was good for some people watching. We tried the two vegetarian options they have on menu - veggie burger with black bean patty and the veggie sandwich. I really liked the burger even though it was a little bit on drier side. Sandwich was really stuffed but only had a small slice of eggplant; could be a positive if you don't like eggplant. I like eggplant so not the one for me and it was really thick so I had to literally eat it one slice at a time. I also ordered a Mai Tai which was of course the star of the meal. Definitely recommend this place even if you are not staying in the village and looking for vegetarian options.
