Being a native Philadelphian I have to say this place is an insult. However, I give them some props for making veggie soy steaks which taste alright and would never be seen on a menu back in Philly. I feel bad even though I've been a vegetarian for years, that the west coast thinks these are "cheesesteaks". Sure they use Armaroso rolls which make any sandwich bomb, but they are only good fresh-not after they've been sitting in a box shipped across the country. I ordered the original, which was excellent! The meat has no fat, cooked very well and cheese melted perfect. For 4 sandwiches, 4 drinks and 4 fries, was $62.00. A little pricey for the portion, would definitely go back, but get just the sandwiches. read more

Needed a fast meal to stay on the road, but didn't want national food chain food. Service was pleasant, food was better than expected. Plenty of steak and cheese. Steak is decent quality, traditional hoagie bun. Husband's garlic-mushroom was definitely packed with both. Would recommend it for fast food. Coleslaw was traditional and good too. YUMMY!!! My new favorite place!!! The staff is friendly, sandwiches are juicy, cheesy and Delish! There are quite a few options, but for me, I love the double cheese and double meat. The last 3-4 times I've been here it's been a letdown. If it's not a mix up on fries when I ordered a large and got a small. A sandwich having onions or not having onions when requested. I keep going back in hopes it's only bad staff, or a lunch rush.... but no it's a disappointment each and every time. I doubt I'll be back. In a sketchy part of town, but super friendly staff. Had the jalapeño with ranch (I've forgotten the name)--very good! The cheese and meat were intermingled, and the meat was tender and no fat. Soft bun, and the ranch was nice with the jalapeños. A good find! read more

Looks like they have moved, we lived there 12/05-07/06 and their cheese steaks were the bomb. We cant find any cheese steaks that are even comparable in Texas. We are driving thru in a week and cant wait. read more
