Moore's Automotive (the ONLY place I let work on my Jeep) recommended Phil's. I wanted a quiet muffler, as the previous owner put a "drone generator" on the Jeep that gave me a headache. I arrived at 840am, was out of there at 925am. All done, everything welded, sounds wonderful. Only $280 (it was gonna be about $190 for me to do it but it would take me half the day). These guys know what they are doing, they do not try to take advantage of you and they are pretty fast because they are a REAL exhaust system shop. (I should mention, the owner is a fine man, raising two young boys - he's teaching the boys to weld and do all the garage work. It was a pleasure to pay this guy to fix my problems.) I Installed an electronic valve cutout. Brought it to them and they welded everything together. Very good, would come back again.

The catalytic converter went bad in my vehicle, and since it was urgent, my automotive friend took it out for me... leading to my normally very quiet car to start sounding VERY LOUD. I went in to get my muffler swapped out with a new one. It took 20 minutes to cut the old one out and weld on the new one. Super fast, and it's not bad quality either. I inspected the welds once I got home, they were nearly perfect. If you wanna get a new muffler on, go here. I have a Ram 1500 and the muffler went south on it, causing a very loud vibration under acceleration. Took the truck to Phil's Muffler & Oswaldo & Co had the old muffler off and the new on & welded to the existing exhaust system in 30 mins. The price was well under what I was expecting as well. Awesome customer service great place quick and affordable. Did an awesome job on my car. My friends pickup now that is a different story, they were supposed build 3 inch exhaust from the muffler back after showing up there they up-sold her a muffler made it more quiet and then they had to take it apart and put it back The way it was and didn't straighten the tips on the back end. read more

2008 Tahoe with a bad catalytic converter. Chevrolet dealership wanted $2100 to replace the entire exhaust system. Phil's replaced one of the three catalytic converter for $350 and it has ran great ever since. That was 2 years ago. read more
