I was having issues with my turbo on my 2016 ram 2500 6.7. I took it in for diagnostics. they informed me of the issues and they ran all the numbers for a refurbished turbo with a 100,000 mile warranty. the total cost was a third of what the dealership was quoting. To make things better I was going on a 2,000 mile round trip and they had the truck complete the morning I was to start my trip. that whole trip had zero associated issues with the turbo and it's still working great 40,000 miles after the repair. affordability, time efficiency, and quality repairs is what they delivered. read more

Wife took her Explorer in for a wheel alignment after extensive front end suspension replacement work. She was told by the mechanic at Phils that the bolts were loose and not torqued. Okay, not Phil's job, but hell, they left them loose and sent a 73 yr old woman driving out with the vehicle in that condition. I checked a couple of bolts - still loose, I can't imagine that the wheel alignment will still be true as one bolt I tested was an A frame mount bolt (sub-frame). I can see where the movement has occurred. I have 4 vehicles, one which I'd like to have the alignment checked on, but it will not be at Phil's read more

I went here for an alignment and was told I needed several parts I didn't need.... strut springs were allegedly collapsed, but the tech failed to realize that the struts on it were deep struts.. . Supposedly bad tie rod ends and ball joints.... all good.... on top of that they charged $27 to tell me I needed these things..... bad business, just try to upsell you on parts you don't need.....I would leave negative stars if I could. read more

It's been about three weeks since the repair and everything is still working properly. The price they quoted me was the price I paid. EDIT: turns out the problem wasn't fixed at all as the suspension issues resurfaced on our first long distance drive. They also have a clause that state they will TOW YOUR CAR if your try to process a chargeback with the bank. Had a problem with the suspension in our car. Took more than a week for the initial parts to arrive which were faulty. Had to wait a second week for the new parts. When we went to collect the car after being told it was ready for pickup, the car still had the same suspension problem. The vehicle required another repair. They gave us the parts for that repair for free. We called several times during the 2+ weeks they had our car to check on the status, each time we would be promised a phone call back but that only happened once. We ended up wasting money on pointless Uber trips to and from the shop thinking the car was ready when in reality it wasn't checked. It felt like the staff were just trying to keep customers off their case rather than actually manage the shop and day to day operations. We had to front $900 after they already had our car for a week if we wanted to drive our (still broken) car out of the shop because they had spent money buying the parts which were still being delivered. In total they held our car for over two weeks, replaced or did work on two separate parts of the car but did not fix the initial issue. the total charge was roughly $2800. read more

Not sure where to start. Cordial reception however after that everything went downhill. Paid to diagnose a problem with oil pressure. Given the result and told them to repair. Was told $400 to repair. I Was called later to say that there were no O-rings ($3 part) available in Killeen and that they would have to go to the dealer to get the part and a pickup tube raising the repair to $800. I THEN CALLED LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORES AND THEY ALL HAD O-RINGS IN STOCK. I took the part to them and they installed. They called me again and said that didn't fix the problem then said I needed a new oil pump for $1300. WTF WAS THE DIAGNOSIS FOR? They are either unable to repair my vehicle or they were trying to squeeze me for more cash. I picked up my truck and ended up paying them $500 and my truck was not repaired. BUYER BEWARE. I payed it and picked my truck up and to my surprise, same squealing noise. One of their mechanics said "oh, that's the noise you were worried about? That's your turbo going out...". BAIT AND SWITCH!!! Brought a Suburban in on a Thursday to have a P1860 Torque Converter Solenoid code looked at. Told them to take their time I was not in a hurry. Said it would be 47.50 for inspection. Called me later that day, said it would $95 for an electrical inspection because it would need to be more in depth. Called later and said just the TCC solenoid was bad. I asked why they were charging me $95 for something I told them was bad in the first place. They said they would remove the fee. The next after noon they called and said the harness in the transmission was bad but they would take care of it because they made the mistake. Said it would be ready Saturday afternoon and it would be $435 out the door. When I went to pick up the truck they said it would be $493. When I objected they wouldn't show me the receipt and when I told them what was said to me, he said it would take hours for him to review the call. He didn't look busy. He said the harness and the solenoid come together, which is not necessarily the case. Especially when you didn't know the harness was bad until after you ordered the solenoid. Paid the bill. After looking at the bill I realized they didn't remove the harness or the $95 inspection from the bill. They only removed the $47.50 transmission fee which is ridiculous because I told them the transmission was working fine and they knew it was an electrical problem when I went in so why were they removing a fee for something that was unnecessary. Went back in after seeing the bill, he used a bad doctor analogy about inspection fees, I asked If you had to pay a doctor an inspection fee twice? (he couldn't answer) Paid $493 for less than $100 worth of parts at their price (TCC Solenoid, harness, 5qts transmission fluid, and filter), had as much time as they needed on a simple common problem, then lied as to how much they were going to charge me. Then at the end acted like he was giving me a great deal. These people are Unbelievable!! read more

I took my Mercedes there this morning. I didn't have time or the patience to shop around for prices & took my chances. Right off the bat, the customer service was polite & satisfying. The 2 women at the front desk were polite & helpful from the beginning. And Joe (mechanic) was very quick to give me an appointment over the phone when I called ahead...and the front desk was aware of it. No confusion. They gave me a price tag just $10 over $100 for an oil change. **KEEP IN MIND** I have a luxury model that requires 8.5 quarts of full synthetic...that's A LOT of oil. Plus, they offered a coupon on their Yelp page at the time which gave me $75 for only $50. And they even granted me the $10 off for a first time customer. So after all was said & done...I only paid $75.50 for my oil change. I look forward to coming back. Oh...they also showed me where the other problems that my car currently has, which I was only aware of 2 & they found 1 or 2 more. They weren't pushy on trying to get me to fix them either...they gave me a quote & assured me that they are happy to help if & when I am ready to fix the other problems. read more

Took my car to Phil's service to have a flex pipe replaced. Was told that I need a new catalytic converter. I asked them to call me to let me know how much the converter would cost. They never did so my car was there for a time. When I went to pick it up, the manager was rude, charged me for storage fees and $400 for a part that only coat $240. Went to this horrible shop for an alignment. The alignment was not done. Could not have been done do to damaged parts. They said the alignment was completed and charged me full price. Took the vehicle to a different shop for an unrelated issue the following day. I was informed an alignment was not done and for some unknown reason my radiator was disconnected at Phil's and reconnected in a way that caused a leak. Not only did Phil's auto not do the alignment, they cost me more money by damaging the lower radiator hose necessitating replacement. I tried several times to speak to a manager on the phone. He's " conveniently" never there to take calls. Do not go to this scam shop. They literally stole my money. Horrible people at a horrible shop. Don't go to Phil's auto. read more

Brought in my 2004 GMC Yukon, today due to a ABS and brake light coming on while driving. Joe greeted me as I came in and has worked with me throughout the process. I got the complete diag to also see if there were other issues. He came back with the brakes being good and having to look for a short. Showed me everything in person and did not try to hide anything about what they were seeing. So far so good I am getting a couple of services done and replacing a belt that is about to go. I've had my car for 5 years, and for 5 years I have known to not roll down the driver's side window because the motor is broken and sometimes not able to bring the window back up. In this amount of time I have gotten an oil change on schedule without any issues pertaining to the window. Unfortunately, All Tune and Lube gave me my first issue today. After paying over $70 for a synthetic oil change and no military discount offered, All Tune rewarded me with the additional news that my driver's side power window would not go up. I told them that I had asked them to change my oil, not roll down my window. The head mechanic (Joe?) informed me that this procedure is standard across ALL oil changes across America. This may be true at his particular shop but in all the different states I have changed my oil, none have screwed up my window. After further back and forth, Joe informed me that if I told him about the window they wouldn't have rolled it down. That's the equivalent of saying "If you had told me about your sprained ankle, I wouldn't have asked you to replace the broken lightbulb" They are 2 separate problems and I only asked you to deal with 1 of them. Joe offered to replace the part but he would not cover the total costs. I asked him to just turn the car off, wait a few minutes, turn it back on, and then try to move the window up (which sometimes works for me). After this did not work and what seemed like he was trying to convince me to have them fix the power window motor, I finally told Joe to just give me the keys so that I could go home. No "I'm sorry", no "here's a discount for the trouble we caused", no care. Of course, as soon as I go into the car, the window just happened to go up. Is it possible All Tune and Lube wanted to make an extra buck off me today? Maybe, but it didn't happen. I will be stationed at Fort Hood for 3 years and am looking for a good mechanic to go for oil changes and car troubles. Unfortunately I will have to keep looking. read more

From the beginning, everyone I talked to was polite, helpful, and patient. After listening to my laundry list of car problems, I left the keys with them and went about my day. I got a call later in the same day, with updates on everything I had asked them to look at. I received another call the following work day with another update, and an estimated time of completion. Terrible, TERRIBLE service. At both locations, the right hand does not know what the left is doing. Not only that, however, my car was kept there for 2 weeks. When I finally got it back, the exhaust system had been swapped out. Now while there is no way to prove this, I spent an incredible amount of time tuning the vehicle and having it sound the way I wanted it to sound. So of course upon receiving it back, I was able to immediately tell the system had either been tampered with or completely replaced with a less expensive substitute. If you care about the integrity of your vehicle, do not leave it with these people. read more

Worst shop ever. i got there at opening. told them the problem with my truck. as a mechanic i've done everything i could do and asked for advanced electrical work. they scanned my truck and told me the code. i replaced the sensor twice in one week. i know the code......i want advanced electrical work. charged me $130 to tell me what i told them when i walked in. i asked them to check my transmission cable for adjustment, didn't think there was one but since it's in the shop with a lift take a look. charged me $65 to look at cable!!! after 7 hours sitting in the shop i learned nothing new and cost me 194 dollars. i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. this shop SUCKS!!!! i specifically told them not to perform a transmission inspection and they charged me anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
