Hands down incredible service, vibrant environment, and incredible drinks! I asked the barista what the most popular drink is and he advised me to try the mint mojito-- so delicious. It's frothy and creamy, coffee had such a crisp taste, and it comes with mint as garnish. I got there around noon and surprisingly it wasn't too packed. Most people just ordered and left. I was able to find a table within a few minutes and I love that there were plugs EVERYWHERE. That's usually my problem with coffee shops, the scarcity of outlets. Above everything, the service was really friendly. If it's your first time trying it, let them know when you pay! I got a free baklava because it was my first time. One of my favorite coffee spots and I'm so glad it's available in Orange County~ The drinks do not disappoint- my favorite is the mocha tesora and mint mojito. I've been here a few times and the staff is always really friendly. Service is quick and the ambience is nice. The space is perfect for studying or meeting up with friends. First time at this location- the bread on their $10 plant based was too tough to eat, overcooked or something. I wanted to try their pick up lane so I looked online on how to order, couldnt find it so I went through Postmates pick up because I already have that app. Went to pick up lane and was told it was only for mobile order. This is the slowest Philz I've been too. I ordered ahead of time on the app, went inside at the time it said my drinks were ready and the girl told me they just got the order. So I had to wait outside and she told me once the drinks are done, she'll flag us down. Waited 15 mins after my time said was ready and still didn't have my drinks. I saw 2 drinks on the table wondering if those were my order, but the girl didn't say anything. While waiting outside another worker brought out a lady's order to her. My favorite part about Philz is the customer service. They let you customize the sweetness level and creamy level of your drink and when they finish making it they always wait for you to try it before you leave. If it isn't to your liking they will not hesitate to adjust it or make you a new drink. I've been liking the ecstatic iced lately. I also found out that if you bring in a personal cup they will charge you for a small and fill it like a large. This is great because not only is it a good deal but it helps out the environment with the amount of waste we produce with coffee cups. I also really like the classes mint mojito. Philz coffee is my go-to back in the bay area, and I'm so glad to have one near campus! I ordered the philharmonic with almond milk here and it was done well! The only downside to this location is that it gets crowded really fast, so if you wanna study there I recommend coming earlier or even stopping by on a weekend. Parking usually tends to be annoying here, and I have to park near the dollar tree and walk but its worth it for that awesome cup! I also recommend the vegan donuts because they definitely fulfill that donut craving and you can't even tell that it's vegan. Great place. The mint mojito is delicious. It's $4.6 for a small when usually a small is $3.6 so it's a dollar more so it's a little pricey for a small. But it is delicious and a good drink that is refreshing. A friendly environment that can do work and school work at. There is parking spaces available. Awesome. I had never been here or to a coffee shop like it & Barista was super helpful in explaining how the menu worked , giving us suggestions & being patient with our millions of questions. Definitely a high end coffee shop but SUPER affordable. We stayed here for 4 hours studying and the ambiance was great & plenty of room to work & charge our devices. The coffee I got wasn't anything special but it was good and I think a different drink would be better. Will definitely be coming back. An amazing alternative to regular chain coffee shops. Pretty bomb they built one of these in Fullerton! I usually stick to the iced mint mojito, which packs a punch. I was disappointed that my order took so long. It was my first time. I told them that. It was a simple iced chai. Was told no food available. Did they forget about me? I know Philz is super popular in San Francisco where my best friend lives, so I have been wanting to visit this "new" location and check it out. I have heard a lot of good things about their signature Mint Mojito Coffee, which sounds odd, but I wanted to try it. My husband and I stopped in over the weekend to get some coffee to go. It was a confusing process and the customer service wasn't very good. - Stand in line. Once at the front of the line, when the girl before us was done, we continued to wait. They were not busy. Finally one of the girls behind the counter called us up. I ordered an Iced Mint Mojito, my husband got an Iced Ecstatic coffee, which is supposed to be Nuts, Toffee, and Toast. For me she said, "Sweet and Creamy OK?" I said yes. For my husband, she started grilling him on the degrees of sweet or creamy he wanted. "No sweet, semi sweet, really sweet?" He said something and she didn't understand him and she got SUPER bitchy and condescending and talked to him like he was an idiot. At then end of the ordering process she said "Ok one Mint Mojito Sweet & Creamy, one Ecstatic, semi sweet and not creamy." Ok whatever, he had said semi to both, but we were in a hurry and she was so rude I don't think he wanted to interact with her any further. So we stood there, waiting to pay. She ignored us, and then eventually said, "I will just call your drinks when they are ready, step aside." So we did. - Where do we pay? There is a cash register on the other side of the room. But she didn't have our order. So I guess it's just honor system here? Tell them what you ordered, or lie and tell them something else, or just skip that process and leave! My husband went over and told her what we got, paid, and then we waited. Doesn't seem like the most efficient system. - No names here, which is kind of dumb, because if multiple people order the same drink, it could get confusing. That is their problem, not mine. We just paid attention to the girl before us and figured when she was done we were up next. - We both got iced drinks, but they are served in insulated hot cups? When we grabbed our drinks, the rude chick asked me to taste mine to see if it was OK. It was alright, but here I am on the spot drinking a filled the brim iced drink with ice popping out, in a "hot" cup, while she stared at me. I don't think my husband tasted his. - We put our stupid hot lids on and went out to the car. He did try his and said it was awful. I tried it and agreed. No nuts, toffee, or toast, just cold, extremely bitter, coffee. When we got home he threw it away. As for my Mint Mojito? It was good, definitely different, not something I think I need again. Since it was in the hot cup, when I drank out of the lid, pieces of mint kept blocking it and I couldn't sip. When we got home I opened it and there were three large stems of mint shoved in there, might have been fine in a normal cold cup with a straw, but not for this setup. Overall, i don't get it. The customer service and process is strange. Maybe if the girl helping us was nice when we were placing our orders, and told us to go to the register to pay instead of just saying "step aside" it could have been better? My coffee was OK but I don't like the cups for iced drinks, my husband's drink sucked, but I blame that more on the bitchy girl that what it was actually supposed to taste like. We don't live close enough to visit on the regular, and we were't wowed enough to go out of our way (which we did this weekend) to come back. read more

Love this location and especially the drive through! My favorites are the Philtered Soul, Philharmonic, and Mint Mojito (to name a few). Note that there's a limited drive through menu. Food-wise, I've only ever had the Philz Bagel, and of course it was delicious. I love situating myself at this location when I have a lot of work to do. Though it gets a bit noisy, I don't mind it at all - Philz is the best coffee you'll ever have! Can't wait for the Costa Mesa location to open. read more

They have a new rose drink that we wanted to try, so we asked if we could try a sample. She gave us a whole small cup! It tastes good btw a subtle hint of rose. Also, she completely filled up our personal cups. So we had plenty of extra to try to make sure it tasted right. We always enjoy going here because of the customer service. Yum! I remember having Philz in NorCal years ago, but never knew they had a location out here. I remember having the Mint Mojito so I had it again, and it was still very refreshing, creamy and sweet. I do have a preference for iced coffee drinks, so the next time I came in, I had to try the gingersnap - and it's now my new fave! Love all the spices in it, and the sweetness and creaminess is perfect! My only regret was not getting a large! What a wonderful addition to my morning, this unplanned visit turned out to be! I had a surprise extra hour before I was needed at work. My boyfriend had a meeting prior to that time at Panera. So we decided to meet here and enjoy some quality time for a bit. The parking lot can get busy as local college students flock the area. However, there should be a spot just a short walking distance away. The building used to be a former KFC. It's rectangular in shape, very open inside, and provides many tables, sofas, and chairs to relax on. Many windows provide natural lighting and the decor is adorable to boot. They offer an app where patrons can input their orders (even customized) and pick them up in a separate line. Smart concept. The regular line has you greeted with a friendly, intellectual barista, excited to take your order and disperse his knowledge of all beans. I knew I wanted a light blend. They have several varieties of light, medium and dark, including decaf and other specialty beverages. I selected some "milk chocolatey cashew one." The descriptions of each flavor are defined and you are willing to try before you buy. Not happy? Reselect. No problem. The beans are held in large plastic containers and they grind and make it fresh in front of you. They carefully pour the hot liquid back and forth to aerate, which also brings it to a more drink-worthy temperature. You're offered the cup, pay, and enjoy. There's a refrigerated cooler by the cash registers with other canned and bottled drinks, snacks, and healthy, protein-style grub. They even have assorted carbs like bagels, danishes, and muffins. All typical, I know. Yet, this joint also has legit food options and I couldn't stop eyeballing this dude's avocado toast. I literally envied his mouth. Don't tell the boyfriend. When paying, you have the option of tipping into 3 round, tubes. One is for Apple, Android, and Nokia. Lol. I'm proud to say not only did I toss $1 into the Apple one, but we were ahead as of 8:45 AM iPhone peeps! The internet worked so good. I often have difficulty when on wifi at establishments, so I was a happy camper. My social media fan club didn't have to go through withdrawals. This is something straight out of Portlandia. If I hadn't been here myself I would have thought someone was making the experience up. Walk in and you have to wait in line for the next bank teller, I mean barista to call you to their station at the counter. There they will tell you how you are supposed to take your coffee. Uh my wife can doctor up her own coffee. "We don't do that. We're a full service coffee bar" is what I'm told. Ok. I guess "medium sweetness" will be fine. Oh now how much cream? Uh. Until it's the right color. I guess medium cream will be fine as well. Which coffee do I want? Decaf is fine. Which decaf? Regular decaf is all I want. Now I'm told to wait until I'm called. But when do I pay? We figure out that we should walk to the register to pay where I again have to repeat our order to a second person. And now we wait again. Finally our order is ready. My wife is asked if it looks fine. Well the only way to know is to taste it. As she goes to taste it the barista yells "BE CAREFUL ITS HOT!" to which my wife replies "well it is coffee". She tastes the coffee and it's easier to simply take it for what it is than to attempt to describe how it needs to be modified. I finally get to drink my coffee. You know when you have a pot of coffee at home and it sits on the hot plate all day and then you turn it off before you go to bed only to wake up late and reheat the coffee in the microwave the next morning? Well that's what this coffee tastes like. I am a former manager of Diedrich Coffee so I know what coffee should taste like. Sour inadequately heated brown liquid does not a good coffee make. In short between the talking down of staff and some of the worst coffee I've ever had I will not be back to this establishment. I only wish I could have my $9 back. read more

My first experience with Philz was in Huntington Beach and when I found out there was one in Fullerton, which was closer to me, I knew I had to check it out. Plus, this particular location offers a drive-thru! The lines can be a little confusing for newcomers but luckily the baristas are incredibly helpful and nice. They are willing to answer all your questions and give recommendations. My personal favorite is the Iced Mint Mojito, a sweet and creamy flavor with the perfect amount of mint. While their coffee is addictive, the downside is that it's really expensive. Hopefully, they open up more locations soon! read more

You have no idea how excited I am that there's a Philz in Fullerton. As soon as we realized it was actually we high tailed it over to check it out and we were not disappointed. Now, you're probably wondering what the hype is about Philz. You're probably thinking, "Why can't you just go to any other coffee bar?" Because, it's Philz. Duh. I like this location because it's pretty big and it's all windows so it's a cool place to hang out and, possibly, get some work done. Also, they have Jamaican Blue Mountain, which is pretty rare. I liked the Tesora, but my favorite was the Philtered Soul. It's like a hazelnut-chocolate dream. I had it with a medium level of sweetness and it might be my favorite cup of coffee. The staff is cool here and they seem like they actually want to make coffee for you. That's kinda rare at specialty coffee shops. Yep, they might as well just get to know me and my small Philtered Soul with medium sweetness order because they'll hear it a lot. read more
