It looked like the band was polished clean with NO trace of the unique design. The Cassios' chose to deny ANY responsibility for the damage. They would not even acknowledge that the finish existed when I left the ring or that they could possibly have removed it. They charged over $500 for the "repair" NOT including the price of the diamond and flatly refused to refund the "repair" charge. I spent over $2600 to upgrade this ring. They destroyed the unique character of my vintage ring and expressed NO concern whatsoever for my dissatisfaction. They immediately went into legalistic defense mode...deny deny deny. They treated me like a grifter despite having been a repeat customer for many years. Mr. Cassio was defensive, arrogant and patronizing when discussing the problem. Thirty years of experience in the jewelry business does NOT make one infallible. Human beings can make mistakes. Taking responsibility and MAKING THINGS RIGHT is the very LEAST that an HONEST business person should do. Nothing has been made right in this situation. My ring was IRREPARABLY damaged. Cassios' IS responsible. Their denials and nastiness are inexcusable. I don't want to wear my ring now. It does not look the same and it only reminds me that the Cassios' ripped me off and treated me like trash.

I take it to him (assuming he would still have the original replacement batteries-wrong! He doesn't have those batteries either! Now he wants more money to get more batteries and that "when he gets a check, he will repay me for the replacement watch". Long story, short: it's been over 1 and 1/2 years, I'm out over $500, I don't have my original watch, no batteries, no repayment, and he won't return my calls or texts! Once he picked up the watch, 2 days later water got inside and he had to take it back in to get it cleaned and have the bezel put back on correctly. After 2 months of no response or update, he went back into the store and was told it wasn't ready because they were "sick the past 3 days" and it would be ready Friday, meanwhile the watch has been there for 2 months. Finally went back in today to pick up the watch and it still hasn't been touched. He brings it to the back to fix the bezel and comes back up front and says "nothing can get this bezel off" the bezel pops right off with just my bf putting his fingernail underneath it.
