Came for late night eats, and this is a solid place that filled my stomach. Broth is decent and there are lots of noodles. I do wish I had more meat to go with the noodles. I'm not a Pho type of guy but my wife and co-workers love this place. I had a Pho with beef ($11.99) and it was good. Wife had a shrimp Pho and she loved it. Chicken Fried Rice was good, maybe lacked a little flavor but not bad. Plenty of fresh veggies, sprouts, basil to add for flavor. Not super friendly but maybe it is a cultural thing. read more

I think the pho was good but not amazing. I'll agree that the broth wasn't super flavorful but I do think the service was nicer than the yelp is giving credit for. Being open till 3AM also gives this place points. The small and large bowl were almost no different however. Leaving knotts at 11 pm we wanted some soup , this place opens until 2AM and only 6 minutes driving distance from knott's berry farm . My first initial thought , how clean the restaurant was, friendly and welcoming wait staff. My girls had their crispy fried egg rolls , they said it was good . I had their fresh spring rolls so light and so refreshing . We ordered some pho soups all size small , small size is plenty big enough for me . Ted our waiter recommend my two youngest 8 and 11 year old share a bowl of pho . We went with his suggestions and boy , he was right . Small size bowl is big for my little ones. Kids enjoyed their soups , it's flavorful. For me it's not enough spices , missing the aroma of star anise, cloves and cinnamon. Either way it beats knotts berry farm nasty and expensive food any-day. read more

This is the spot to come to!! Open late, great customer service, and the food always hits. It wasn't too busy so my party felt well-taken care of and checked upon. We ordered the well-done brisket pho and the rare steak pho and both bowls were steaming hot and the perfect temperature for colder nights. The food here is either a hit or a miss. Today I came in and the pho was very tasty! There was a good portion of beef in my pho bo kho (one of my favorites). You have to ask for basil if you want any. It didn't seem very fresh and it was browning a little, which makes me doubt 100% cleanliness. Whenever we are in the LA area we always end up going home past MIDNIGHT . And my son and his friends will always find a way to still not go home so we kept ending up in Raising Canes 'coz they close late and they eat and hang out together more. BUT GLADLY my HUSBAND found this place on YELP called .. " PHO 21 " in BUENA PARK and they close late too !!! When we got into the Plaza where Pho 21 is, it was the only one open around after Midnight but we didn't get scared coz there were a lot of Cars park and customers dining inside. There are plenty of Tables to sit down at, not fancy but lots of food selections still after Midnight . We ordered : * CHARBOILED PORK on STEAM RICE with fried EGG * GRILLED PORK W/ EGGROLL and VERMICELLI noodles * GRILLED PORK SPRING ROLL - grilled Pork, Salad and Noodle * FRIED RICE CHICKEN and SHRIMP * HOUSE SPECIAL SOUP * STIR FRIED NOODLES The Teen's CHARBROILED PORK was seasoned well and tender and had a good size of meat . On my GRILLED PORK w/ VERMICELLI NOODLE, the meats were also well seasoned, and the eggroll that came with it has good Crisp, and Flavorful and the meat was perfect with the vermicelli noodles, and the Fish sauce adds more flavor to it. My GRILLED PORK SPRING ROLL, I noticed it is just what I had on my VERMICELLI Bowl, they just added the Wrapper version. The HOUSE SPECIAL SOUP was tasteful. The STIR FRIED NOODLES were good. It had lots of meats and Shrimps and veggies on it and the noodles are not soggy. The Chicken and Shrimps Fried Rice is also good , I'm the one who mostly ate the Fried Rice coz i pulled it all the way on my side and I enjoyed eating my fried rice that i added sriracha sauce on it ;) STAFF are nice and if you GUYS are in KNOTTS BERRY FARM or DISNEY or coming from UNIVERSAL STUDIO or 6 FLAGS and you are heading South and you are still looking for more food After MIDNIGHT and everything is Closed, come to this place PHO 21.
