When I was out getting coffee, I saw a sign from a nearby restaurant that said, "grand opening." How we Yelpers love things "Hot & New!" Open less than 30 days the S Factory is a Vietnamese restaurant. Located in a small strip mall with lots of parking and near an I-5 North on-ramp, as explained the "S" in their name stands for the shape of Vietnam. And the fact that their cuisine comes from several regions not just one. The unseasonably cold and wet SoCal evening made trying some pho the obvious choice. S Factory had only one pho offering, the beef & meatballs, so that was that. Wish they had a small and large sizes. S Factory had a grand opening special of a complimentary ice tea with purchase, but the tea was pre-sweetened. So water was fine. The food soon came. After the vegetable preparation phase, I soon dug in. It was a good sized bowl and exactly what was needed. The clean bright freshly squeezed lime juice and the hearty beef broth was invigorating! I even had a little bit left over to take back to the hotel. Total with tax was about $15, very reasonable! I would love to go back and try some of their other dishes!
