This is my favorite pho restaurant in the area and have been frequenting it for the past six years now.

The decor in this restaurant is clean and light, there's plenty of seating in here as well. The service is good and quick. I've come here a few times now and I keep hoping the pho will hit the spot but it just doesn't. The flavor is off and the meat is low quality. Their fried rice is really good but on the pricey side. I did one time order the beef stew which was decent. The flavor was good and it was not too fatty. The bread they gave me with it was really stale and hard as a rock though. Hopefully the improve over time because the location is very convenient and I want to be able to come in and get my fix. read more

Amazing soup! Our go to spot when anyone in our house isn't feeling well or when we are just craving their amazing pho

I got the #19 and it was delicious we also got chicken fried rice that we ate all of it as well as adding it our soup!

It's my go to pho place. Always delicious and huge quantities. I make two meals out of it.

The restaurant is clean, the service is prompt, friendly and priced well. Food wise, my friend and I ordered a large pho #1 with all the meat fixing but the meat portion for a large was lacking, it was primarily noodles. The broth was average in flavor and needed assistance from limes and hot sauces to increase our enjoyment. Since it was our first time here we would come back to try it again and order something other than pho or more limited pho meat combo like the chicken or seafood one. read more

My food was good.the flavor was good i will be back.i love Pho. I would like to sit in next time but i ordered for carryout. Takeout service was eh i was trying to pick up my order but no one was really there. It looked empty almost. I understand the reviews now. There is a sign at the front "wait to be seated" so i waited there but quickly realized that no one would come there . So i just walked straight to the sign that said "grubhub " pickup. I ordered the chicken noodle soup for take out. It was delicious, they gave a TON of chicken. Flavor was really good. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the togo container started to overflow after I added the noodles and chicken. If the container was a bit bigger I would have no complaints. Normally I would transfer to my own big bowl, but didn't have one at the moment. Overall would definitely order from here again! read more

I was super impressed by the Pho Bo Kho soup, that's the beef stew for those unlucky people who haven't tried this amazingly, soothing, taste bud jumping, tongue slurping, eyeballs closing in delight soup. I am a pretty hard to please person when it comes to this soup because of how amazing it is in my local town. Many places have big shoes to fill. I get pho bo ko at every Vietnamese restaurant place I go. My favorite one is my local one near my house. No place has ever beat it. This place is a very close contender. In fact, Hubby likes this one better (what's wrong with him)? I still love my hometown one better. But still. That broth though...(insert eye closing and a big smile here)...its like the biggest warmest hug from the happiest Mamabear you know.. like from Mrs. Claus. Its that good. Besides that, the pho with rare beef & tendon was decent. I don't add anything to the broth except the bean sprouts, & basil so the broth alone has to be very tasty. I personally don't believe it should have anything added for it to be amazing. The pho here was doable. DS killed the spring rolls, which was nice. He must have really liked it. The décor in there was the biggest surprise of all. The décor in there was a silver, white theme. Glass mirrors, lots of white. It reminded me of the nail salons/eyelash extension salons near my house. It was a refreshing change. They put a lot of $ into this place & the noise was acceptable. Service was average. Nothing to note, but no complaints too. $35 bucks for 3 soups and 1 spring rolls filled the 5 of us and we still had leftovers. Boom! They brought us ice water shortly after we got seated. But I asked for a glass of hot water, so they took my ice water away and gave me a glass of very warm water. Our food didn't take long and #1 pho bowl was ok. Well, I mean I can't really compare it to the ones back in LA. But the sandwich. They only have 3 selections: chicken, pork, and beef. The beef was $1 more than the others. That's ok but the bread. The bread was soft and then it got chewy. We realized it was microwaved bread. Microwaved bread?! If Gordon Ramsay was there, he'll be like you don't even have an oven at a restaurant?! I'd preferred a bread they didn't do anything to. Then I tried the pho and it was decent. But as I was saying oh there's no beef tendon in this. Then I found one small piece of it. I took a bite and it was terrible. It was chewy like rubber. I've never had tendon like that in any pho noodle places, ever. And I just experienced my first. So...yea, don't get the sandwich. I kind of regret not sending the sandwich back. read more

Found this place on Yelp with decent reviews so wanted to try a Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The draw for me was their dessert menu (colorful icee and smoothies) and also some unique offerings like sugar cane. The restaurant is spacious and appears clean, with modern decors and design. We ordered 2 smoothies (coconut and mango--both on the sweeter side, but I did enjoy the coconut one) with semi-mushy boba. Also ordered pho in medium and large size, medium is more than sufficient to feed a hungry adult. The pork chop and egg over rice was also generous in portion. There wasn't much of a service, and behind the door hygiene is questionable..hence the star deduction. Otherwise, food was good, served quickly, and we left feeling full and content. read more

If a pho place has a number in the name you already know it will be good. Came around 6:30pm and was seated right away. We ordered Pho Tai and Com Tam Bi Cha Thit Noung. I was to hungry so I didn't take pictures. The rice platter was a great size for the price. Pickled veggies were fresh and everything was tasty. 5/5 stars So far this is my fav spot for Vietnamese food. read more

This was my first time visiting Phò 36. As soon as we walked in, Kurt greeted us with a smile, seated us immediately and offered us ice water (it was over 100° outside). Having gone during an off-peak time, we pretty much had his undivided attention. I had never tried phò before, so I had a million questions for him, which he graciously and patiently answered for me. I ended up ordering the #10 (lean brisket and well-done flank). The broth was very flavorful and the meat was so tender, it melted in my mouth! As we left, Kurt made sure to come and say goodbye. Delicious food and exceptional service! I will definitely be coming back! Just ordered the house special fried rice to go and the picture posted is literally what they gave without us touching it at all. Looks like the rice has been eaten or pretty much half of the rice is missing. I'm not sure how the restaurant believe this is acceptable. On 03/03/20 at approx. 7:20pm, I picked up a phone order and while I was paying, a male employee (maybe mid 30s with a buzzed head) is standing in the threshold between the kitchen and dinning room. The male then uses one finger to plug one of his nostrils while he cleared his other nostril with a burst of air towards the ground. I could not believe what I was seeing. Best pho I've ever had ! Hands down. The broth is amazing. I usually get so thirsty after eating at certain pho places because of the amount of msg and salt used. Not this place ! Authentic. My entire family went here. Nobody had any complaints and they're a bunch of picky eaters. They were all impressed. The restaurant inside is modern, bright, and clean. Staff was very nice and attentive. They were very good about getting their tables cleaned so people didn't have to wait long. Their Thai tea was good and their boba is amazing. Chewy and soft. Solid 4 stars-- there are 3 types of broths: beef, chicken, veggie. I got the veggie pho and it had mounds of broccoli, cabbage, carrot and celery slices, mushrooms, tofu, onions and has all the pho flavors. They also have the crispy garlic msg chili sauce which is unique to this pho place. The place is clean, casual, and kind of warm. I was definitely sweating mid-meal. After hearing so many good things about this restaurant, I decided to check it out last week....and again 2 days ago. The first time was during lunch and it was pretty busy. Even though they were busy the service seemed pretty fast. I ordered my usual at any Vietnamese restsurant, the BUN THIT NUONG, and their AVOCADO SMOOTHIE. The portion was decent. Taste wise, everything was delicious. I LOVED their avocado smoothie. Yom! That alone is enough for me to come back. The next time I came back was for dinner. I ordered their egg rolls and their shrimp fried rice (sorry I forgot the actual names on the menu!) and a strawberry banana smoothie. All of it was SEWWW BOMB! I actually recommend getting any if not all three of these items. Only down fall was the service was significantly slower than when I had gone previously, but they were so packed which is completely understandable. You can definitely tell theyre still getting the hang of things but I found my service to be great. All of them were very nice and were diligent about checking up on my table. The two times I've been here the service is extremely slow. The first time we weren't even asked what we wanted to drink until we had been sitting for 15-20mins! BUT the food is great and it's always been pretty busy so I assume they didn't expect so much business so fast. I really like the #23 seafood pho and they have great Thai tea with boba! Been debating how many stars to give this place for a while now and after coming a few times, I decided to give it 4 stars. I often go down to OC to have some decent Viet food since Corona doesn't have any great Viet places imo aside from Pho Anam. The only reason I decided to give 4 stars instead of 3 is because this place is very closely on par with Pho Anam. I consider these 2 restaurants the only Vietnamese restaurants worth eating in Corona (still need to try VN Dish). Food here still is not comparable to what OC has to offer but its a good place to go if you don't feel like driving far and have been craving Vietnamese food. One of my favorite things about this place is it actually has a lot of options and so far everything I ate tasted decent. The only complaint I have so far is that some of the staff members are either too shy or unfriendly. We wanted to try this place since we usually go to Pho Xpress. What a mistake. The service is horrible. Our ice t's remained empty during our entire dinner. We were never asked for a refill. The pho #1 smelled like a fishy soup. The taste was not good. Not to be a food snob but the food here is gross. And the service is horrible. I will stick with Pho Xpress on 6th street. It's alright Pho for this area. This place is misleading for their large bowls of pho because it's mostly just soup! There is very little noodles and meat.
