This has been one of our favorite restaurants over the years, but the last couple of times some of the menu items seem to have changed. Last night we ordered takeout and the rice was inedible. Something tasted off with the meat, and the overall flavor seemed as if it had turned. It was very disappointing especially since the prices have recently increased. We ordered takeout so there is nothing we could do about it with the restaurant, but this was a one off, I wouldn't take the time to post. We love their eggrolls and sandwiches, but I don't think I will be ordering the soup and rice anymore after my last couple of experiences sad to say. read more

The place was pretty clean. I ordered the regular size Pho with brisket, with extra tendon without the tripe. It the service was quick. Overall the pho was delicious, I ate it all but was really disappointed that the the tendons were NOT tender.. I will probably be back but will definitely ask to make sure the tendons are cooked all the way. read more

This is our go to Pho spot, we love the food and the quality. The people that work here are very nice and accomadating. They always know us when we order and when we come in. It's very quick and efficient and we plan on continuing to go to this location since it is very close by to our office space so that we can always have a nice bowl of pho and great Vietnamese food whenever we want! The medium size pho had the same amount of food as the large pho. We had to ask for the condiments and side herbs (we were only given for one pho instead of two). First time trying this place. We ordered a seafood pho and #8 pho with extra meatballs. I also got the shaking beef which was really disappointing. The meat was grey and had no color like it usually does. The flavor was weird. Good service, the lady at the front was really nice. I'll come again but not get the shaking beef again. read more

The food is always fresh and tasty. We had the Pho combo and the Pho #16 which is rare steak; both are great! We also had egg rolls which are fantastic. Also had the spring rolls which are also great. Sometimes parking can be full right next to the restaurant but since there is a huge parking next door you can park there and walk 2 minutes. The service is ok as with most Vietnamese restaurants. The place is clean with plenty of room. read more

Big fan of Pho, and I've been waiting for a long time for a location actually worth going to that's closer to home. The inside decoration and style is modern and nice, but still has a taste of what Vietnamese food has to offer. Recommend the Pho of course, and the Bun Bo Hue. read more

You know that feeling when you discover that hidden gem restaurant that everyone should be raving about online and creating lines out the door? Yeah, this isn't that place. Got out of the doctors office a bit early today and Banh Mi popped into my brain. Quick search turned up Pho 36. I've driven by countless times just never had the inkling to stop in - until today. Ordered 2 Banh Mi, and one order each of Goi Cuon (Spring Roll) and Nam Cuon; one of my favorites when done right. The $9.99 Iceberg lettuce rolls, I mean Spring Rolls, besides lacking any kind of flavor, just sucked. The supplied sauce did little to add anything to the several day old lettuce or tasteless shrimp slices. Salt / seasoning anyone? As Forrest Gump would say, "That's all I got to say about that". The $9.99 Nam Cuon were equal on the taste suck-scale. Iceberg lettuce (again, really?) filled tubes of tastelessness. There was some meat like object in there, my dog seemed to be fine with it but he really has no frame of reference for good quality Vietnamese food. He eats his own turds, just sayin. Ah, onto the real reason of my visit - the Banh Mi. Item 51b. The 'B' must be for blah. Good thing I bought two of them at $6.99 each so the two of us can share in all the bitter disappointment tightly wrapped in paper. I would like to say that some part of the sandwich was worth writing home about but just can't do it. My mom, at 85, knows when I'm lying. She would probably immediately sense the sheer and complete disappointment in my facial expression. So. One star. Can't go any higher nor can I visualize myself stopping by again anytime in the next 40 or 50 years. I guess the positive outcome of my visit is that I realize just how much I miss Little Saigon or the original Saigon. Looks like a trip is in order - have to settle for Little Saigon at this time. Was craving some pho so I decided to try this place out since it is brand new. As I entered the place, I saw how lovely everything was decorated and how it felt really elegant inside. I ordered their beef ball pho and their taro boba smoothie. Upon receiving the pho I added extra ingredients such as bean sprout, lemon, Thai basil. The broth was delicious and well as the noodles and beef balls. I added some Hoisin sauce and some hot chili oil to give it a nice spicy kick. As I continued eating after a while, I ran out of water. No biggie I continued to eat my pho and wash it down with some taro hoping the server would come and check on me and ask if everything was ok and to ask if I needed more water. Well that never happened but luckily I had the boba drink to help quench the thirst a little. As I continued finishing the rest of my pho I received my bill and saw them look at my drink but they just walked away not asking if I wanted anymore water. I did enjoy my meal and it was very delicious but just wish they had better service. I would give this place another try. read more

I got this last minute because I didn't wanna go to far from my house during Covid 19. I'm trying to stay safe but wanted some good Vietnamese food. The staff was very friendly! Let me just say this, the food was delicious! I ordered the number 77 which is is called bon bui Ho something like that. It was delicious! The soup satisfied my stomachs. So glad I found this place! I only tried the pho here but it came it so quickly and piping hot! I got the large bowl for $12.49 which is not too bad for the amount of food you get. Went to opening night tonight. The menu was full of awesome selections! I had the Tai Nam Gan Sach (minus the tripe) and I had to stop eating the gigantic bowl of yum because I was going to get a tummy ache! Had milk tea and an order of chicken fried rice and Nem Cuon charbroiled pork rolls. Needless to say I also have lunch for tomorrow! The staff was so friendly and many of them to wait on everyone! For the food, it'd pretty decent. Not the best in corona but it's good enough. Soup does lack depth but the flavor is alright. The service is okay but I had to knock a few stars down because they advertise they open at 9am everyday but everytime I have come here at 9:10am, it's never open. No lights and no workers. This is one of the best pho places in Corona. You take a look at the menu and you will immediately see that it's not one of those hipster fusion Vietnamese places that try too hard. Spacious dining room, great portion and taste while being reasonably priced and food comes out within minutes if not seconds. If I had to nitpick, one gripe I have here is sometimes it's not easy to pay quickly and get out. When the place is about half full, servers lag in bringing your check. I just ended up going upto the counter to pay a few times, but the cashier always seems to be doing other stuff like talking on the phone or taking care of takeout customers. read more

We are on our way to Southern California thru Corona, and stopped for pho. Just LUV this place. It's clean, beautiful environment, and they are generous with their large bowl portions. I got a number 4, with egg noodles, a #22 with seafood and wide noodles, #1 with regular noodles. I asked for extra onions, and they gave me two plates of extra onion slices. That is extremely generous and I appreciated it so much I started typing this review!!! Anyhow, the water is fresh on this 98° day. The basil and limes are refreshing as well. It is all very fresh. Pho 36 is a very nice establishment with ample seating and decent parking. What this place lacks in service they make up with flavor but unfortunately our experience wasnt the best. Their pho bowls although big were a little too pricey and the flavor wasn't as good as other places in the corona area. We paid 34 dollars for two Pho bowls. The service is where they took a hit for me. We had to go up to the service desk to ask for napkins, then forks, then water and then our bill. They never came to us other than to ask for our order. Sooooooooooo satisfying! I have been jonesing on Pho 36 since they opened! I always go to the Area 51 nail spa right next door and every time I go I thought about wanting to stop by at Pho 36. And I'm happy that I was able to check it out with a couple friends. Two out of three were vegetarian/Vegan in our party, and Pho 36 offers plenty of vegetarian options. In fact, I loved that they had an entire section dedicated to vegetarians. Thank you for making it easy to see the veggie friendly menu items! Anyway my two friends ordered Pho; one was a vegetarian pho and the other had seafood. I ordered the sizzling tofu dish and it was hot hot hot when it arrived to the table. The tofu was stir fried with onions, bell peppers and other veggies. The dish came with rice and more veggies. It tasted so fresh and yummy! I also ordered the vegetarian rolls which had vegetables and a peanut sauce to dip in. My friends enjoyed their pho bowls and said it was one of the best places for pho that they have been to. As we stood there waiting to be seated, all the employees just looked lost, like a deer in headlights. Then later someone directed us to a booth. We ordered large rare steak bowl and an side of spring rolls. The food was overall great. My only thing is they didn't have much customer service. Never checked up on us once, only encounter was when we ordered and paid. But even then we had to flag down someone to get our check. Apparently you're supposed to walk up and pay and the counter? Recently visited for Pho36 for takeout and had a disappointing experience. The food was extremely average given the premium pricing. Service was timely and reasonable for a pickup order. Ambiance was nice fore a strip mall storefront restaurant. Upon returning home, the vegetable dish was cold and contained an insect. Wife was unable to eat her dinner and further diminished the value of Pho 36 menu and to-go service. Will not be retuning after several lack luster visits.
