Note that the menu uploaded here on Yelp is outdated (as of 11/29/12). The soups now are about a $1 more and the beverages about .50¢ more. My total for a large soup and a beverage was $9.81. As for the person who commented and said they do not offer vegetarian, Pho 75 does. In fact, a member of my party today ordered vegetarian and I saw it on the menu. I ordered a large bowl of the #15, which I think was of Eye-Round Steak (none of the mixtures with tendons or tripe or anything, just beef). I also ordered an Iced Salty Dried Plum Juice. Both very yummy. I was quite intrigued by their beverage choices, which I had never seen before and would probably make greater effort to try. (Usually I just have water with a meal. But when enticed with something different, I will go for it.) This was my first visit to Pho 75, and I haven't had pho since I lived in Seattle where everyone was like "Pho! Oh, pho...blah-blah-blah.... Pho!" Then and there, the pho hook never caught me; I always thought, "What's the big deal? It's soup." But Pho 75...hmm...I am likely to come back here. It was filling and tasty. You get all the accoutrements that you need and expect: fresh basil, lime wedges, sauces, bean sprouts. Our party of 5 didn't seem to be lacking in anything. My beverage was a tasty surprise that made me Google a recipe when I got back to the office. I came here with some coworkers who all knew the paying procedure; I was the newbie. As mentioned, it is a cash only establishment. And, although they come to your table to take your order and bring it to you, you go up to the counter to pay. As a bunch of coworkers, we each paid our own lunches individually. The cashier was easy-breezy at checking us out. When you think of how other restaurants can't (and won't) handle that kind of transaction-ing. The clientele is mostly working class/laborer. This is not schmancy neighborhood; one tiny strip mall after another tiny strip mall with international grocery stores mixed in. Hence, this restaurant is in a tiny strip mall. You see these types of joints all over and it never registers to you that you would ever or should ever eat in such a restaurant (ok, maybe that's just me). Pretty authentic pho from what I can tell. Always get the large size with all the meats and trimmings. Broth is where it's at when it comes to pho, and this one is up there. Noodles were a bit soggy and limp, which is weird for a pho, so knocked off a star. Hoping it was just an off day for them since I'll be coming back. read more

I would consider this the best hole in the wall Pho place. It's in a pretty tough area (Langley/Takoma Park) but the Pho is legit and the food is real and made fresh by Vietnamese people. Dont expect fanciness, but you can expect authentic food and a unique cultural experience. Be open-minded, it will get you far ;) read more
