Unfortunately, I've been to this place twice because I was in the area and craving pho. The 1st time: I didn't know. The second time, my GPS took me there, and I was instantly reminded of my 1st encounter. I decided to give it another chance. My experience was better than the 1st but it still wasn't stellar. The place was empty: big red flag.. My usual pho spot is always busy. The packaging of my pho was "interesting" and the taste was mediocre at best. The price was more than what I'm used to paying as well. The decor looked drab too (kind of old and dusty). My usual place has the same decor so that isn't a major factor. If you have an option to go elsewhere, don't do what I did. Get back in your car and GO somewhere else. read more

Came here for the first time for lunch on a weekend with a small group of people. I ordered the pho with vegetables and tofu. Total came out to approximately $15 (not including tip). What's Hot - Menu. There appears to be something for everyone- meats, veggies, and possibly even vegans. (I don't recall whether they provide vegetable broth.) There are appetizers, Vietnamese sandiwhces, bun (vermicelli noodles not in broth), rice dishes, and some drinks. I was disappointed they don't have a vegetarian bun, though. All their bun dishes had meat. - Portions. There are 2 bowl sizes available. - Price. That I could get a meal for less than $20 for myself is pretty good. To be fair, I did not order an appetizer. - Service. Pretty good. My group was 5 people and our orders were ready within a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, we asked the staff to split our check, so that we each paid for ourselves. They were able to do so fairly well. - Layout. There are tables and chair for small groups, including booths. Appears to accommodate individuals and groups of reasonable sizes. - Parking. There is a small parking lot for the plaza, which is a decent size. What's Not - Quality. Not bad, but I've had better. My veggie pho included tofu, cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. No bak choy or any other type of vegetable (Asian or otherwise). It was helpful to add the sliced raw jalapenos and bean sprouts for more flavor. On its own, it didn't really stand out, especially the broth. - Service. Fairly reliable, as discussed above. However, one of our group asked for no onions in her pho, which they accidentally included when her pho came out. Thankfully, they were able to correct the mistake quickly and without a fuss. It took 30 minutes for two bowls of pho to come out and they tasted like beef water. Never in my life have I ever had such horrific tasting pho. Usually pho comes out fast, so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. That doubt was destroyed when we received the food. Traditionally, pho broth is full of delicious and complex flavorings from the medley of spices used. Imagine how surprised we were when we took the first sip and tasted absolutely nothing. I came in on a day where there was only one customer there waiting for a to go order. I was in between appointments and not feeling well so I decided to grab Pho. The restaurant maybe seems to be under new management? I haven't been to this location in years. There were no fried spring rolls which was disappointing however my chicken pho & bahn mi that i got to go were decent. My issue is that when I checked my bank account days later I see that the woman who was working charged me two different times for two different amounts. I am not sure how that happened when i was literally the only customer in the entire restaurant as i ate and when i paid. They literally take ONE shrimp, slice in super thin into 3-4 ,lay the paper then slices onto a ton of vermicelli and wrap it. It was so loosely wrapped that I knew right away they have someone in that kitchen other than a Asian cook. The peanut sauce is super thick and looked old. Lets talk about combination lo mein and combination fried rice that was $16 each. You get 4 shrimp in each container, the beef looked like it had freezer burn, very little chicken. What a waste of time and money. So glad I didnt order pho. I can tell you Grandma or Grandpa are NOT cooking in that kitchen. I won't say what I suspect. This place must have changed hands, and it's much better. For starters the proprietor brought hot tea with the menu. Real tea, with leaves. Turned out to hearty, sweetened jasmine and very welcome on a 30° windy day. Spoiler alert, no charge. Pho, of course. Broth was rich, properly clear and defatted, but low on spices and could have used a little less salt. Beef was tender and flavorful. Plenty of nicely textured noodles. Medium bowl was a bit smaller than regular bowl at other places. Very cordial service. $9.95, no extra credit for value. If the broth had delivered that happy place perfume I would have had to consider the fifth star, but a solid four **** and I won't hesitate to try the vermicelli bowls and bahn mi next time I'm in the area. read more

Food was Okay at best Service was horrible. The kitchen staff got into an argument that eventually found its way physically into the restaurant. The lack of cooperation among the staff resulted in our meal being delivered one person at a time over the course of an hour. One of us checked out and left to get something to eat across the parking lot. The ambiance was absolutely poor. The staff ruined the eating experience in total. Place smelled like a public restroom, which is not something you want to smell when you're about to eat. I didn't notice until I took off my mask AFTER they had already seated us. I've had the vegetable pho and the beef pho the past 2 nights and the portions are large. I'm a 210 pound man so I can put down some food. Let me tell you. Do not listen to the ignorant comments about chicken wings or whatever. You don't go to a place like this for chicken wings anyway. It's like ordering a kids meal at a steak house. The ONLY positive thing about this pho place is that it's tucked away in a quiet side of the shopping center, so it was nice to have somewhere to grab food during COVID times without it being overcrowded. Employees were also wearing masks. HOWEVER, that being said- there's no way I will be visiting this restaurant again. There were little gnats EVERYWHERE. At first, it was seemingly only one or two so my group ignored them. The longer we sat and when we got our food, they were swarming and we finally noticed them all over the walls and tables. I wish I had gotten a photo but trust me...you don't want to dine in. We only stayed because we ordered already and we were hoping for the best but it was an unpleasant experience as we spent the rest of the meal swatting our hands at the bugs. This place is a joke and needs help. The two people running it seem to be married and they argue in front of customers. The food is not good, tastes like old oil and not good flavor. It's clear that they are buying cheap sauces and adding them into brand name bottles or watering them down to stretch them farther. We tried to order different things and they kept telling us they didn't have it-if you don't have something you shouldn't have it on the menu. Also, the menus were dirty and sticky like they hadn't been cleaned in between customers. While we were there a couple got upset and walked out because something they ordered wasn't right and the couple running the restaurant didn't seem to care or even understand what the problem was. The guy walked away from the customer while he was explaining what was wrong and took a phone call instead of stopping and listening to the customer and making it right. I ordered food to go- I ordered 5 small Pho soups with out onion. Upon checking the order at the restaurant, I realized they all had onions- cool, no biggie. GUESS WHAT ELSE I FOUND? a friendly cockroach, not 1 BUT two. I managed to only get a picture of 1, squished in by the lid. When I placed the side down opened the lid, that squished one ran out and went about its business. Following that, another one was found hanging in the bottom of the noodles. I was able to get a refund immediately, the owner was notified, but it seems this is a recurring issue. She was extremely nonchalant about it. I would absolutely not recommend this to any one. This place used to be my favorite. I went today 06/29/2021 and I was truly disappointed on all fronts: customer services, food quality, restaurant cleanliness. I am not sure if they change management, (perhaps because all the faces were new to me) but it is sad to see a restaurant to decline like this. I used to go there only to eat Pho, and today seems like they did forget to add salt and flavor to it. It was just noodles with the boiling water. I do not think I will come here again. Terrible. I walked in and the service was nice enough. Unfortunately i got my togo order and when I got home found that my pho had beef (my partner does not eat beef so was unable to eat it.) we had specifically ordered the seafood pho. The calamari looked nothing like the other photos and was in a tiny container. They completely forgot the rolls I ordered. Waste of nearly 60$. So disappointing. The chicken was decent.
