#11 beef tenderloin & meatball pho
    Chris P.

I moved to GVL from San Diego 2 months ago, where we had lots of pho. It's a favorite comfort food on cold days, and especially on days after your team gets knocked out of the NFL playoffs! I ordered the tenderloin beef and meatball pho. I'm happy to report this is legit pho! Tenderloin was sliced very thin, and meatballs were delicious. Portion size was okay, and they did something I've only seen here: they used red onions vs white onions, which worked pretty well. The service is as described in other reviews, but all pho restaurants operate this same way, in my experience. I'll definitely come back, but I'm not sure this will ultimately be my go-to pho restaurant.

Food was very good I had the com suon and my mom had the bun bo hue. She says it the best she has ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant. Food came out quickly and for an area with limited authentic Vietnamese options this was great definitely will be visiting again when I'm craving.

When looking for authentic Vietnamese food, my first excitement was swing other Asian people eating here, which means the food is REALLY GOOD and authentic! The soft spring rolls were tasty as well as the vermicelli noodles. Try this place!

    Summer roll, Pho Dac Biet

I had take out and got the summer rolls and #9 with tendon, tripe, brisket, and meatball. Summer roll w/ peanut sauce was great. The pho was one of the better ones in Greenville. The broth was good, and complimented the noodles and meat well. Basil and bean sprouts were fresh! Its a small restaurant but staff was very friendly and lots of parking available.

I've been going here since I was a kid, and the food has never let me down. Whenever my friends say they've never had pho, I never recommend anywhere else but Pho 99. Service is quick and easy usually, but be patient if they're busy. They have English, Vietnamese, and Spanish speaking employees, so no worries about language barriers for the most part! Very nostalgic and homey going in there. All of their dishes are amazing, you really can't go wrong.

In town on vacation. My friend tried spicier meatball sausage soup and I got Pho Ga. Chicken soup. It was very nourishing and authentic. Just what we needed that day. Their bubble tea was suprisingly good. The avocado smoothie was super creamy and tasty and the thai tea bubble tea was really good. I would come in just for that. This little spot has a vietnamese grocery store next to it too.
