This is such an unassuming restaurant that packs a punch. Everything tastes good, and I always waddle out completely stuffed with zero regrets of over ordering. The service is so fast and they're always so nice. As delicious as everything is, it's unthinkable to not order pho because I eat everything in that bowl that comes with generous portions of meat and broth that's suited to my taste palate. My other must order is the bone marrow fried rice that arrives to the table hot and sizzling in its stone bowl and my god my mouth is salivating at the memory as I write this review. It is a go to spot for me whenever I'm in the area, and it's never packed I don't understand why all the social girlies aren't drumming this place up because it definitely deserves more hype.

    Pho Ribeye (Tai)

I'm a big Banh Khot fan, so when I saw this on the menu, I knew I had to try them! Their Banh Khot Tom are Vietnamese mini savory pancakes with shrimp, and served with fresh herbs, lettuce on the side, and a dipping sauce. An order comes with nine of them. I really enjoyed them! Wrapping them in lettuce and herbs really brings a freshness to the dish. Great balance of textures and flavors. I also tried some of the Shaken Beef with Egg. The beef was tender and served with bell peppers. They also give a side of white rice with sunny side up egg. I would get this dish again! We enjoyed the first two dishes so much, we came back to try their pho. My go-to at any pho spot is Pho Ribeye (Tai) because I like the thin slices of meat. The meat and beef broth was good, however, their noodles were a bit hard and clumped together. This was still the case after sitting in the hot broth. I tried some of the House Special Combination with giant bone-in rib, ribeye, and brisket, and the noodles were the same in this dish as well. We were a little disappointed with their pho. I would come back again to see if maybe it was just an off day. Overall, despite the name being Pho Alley, we actually liked the other dishes more!

Their Banh Xeo is good! It's hard to find a good one at vietnamese restaurants and not all vietnamese restaurants serve this. Expect a longer wait, there was about 4 parties ahead of us but we ended up waiting for 30mins ish. Staff is nice and friendly , I'd come back to try their other dishes. It was a good dish if you want to have variety in your vietnamese food palette. They are clean and organized, staff informed me when my food was supposed to be out, which is nice.

A friend not only endorsed Pho Alley, but took me here for lunch. I'm definitely trusting her as she's Vietnamese and she's never steered me wrong before. Her track record is still intact. Over in the plaza on the corner of Ball and Bloomfield, I'd say parking should be easy but I don't know how it is when business in the plaza is in full swing. Might have to walk a bit, unlike how we just pulled up right in front. We got there before the lunch rush so if you have or have had different experiences, guess I was just lucky. Service was pretty good considering other Pho places I've been to. It actually seemed like service as opposed to just taking your order and bringing out your food. The server refilled my water a few times and he checked in twice to see how we were doing. It wasn't very busy as it was pre-lunch rush but it was different. Nice even. And I enjoyed my Oxtail Pho. Enough that I said screw it and picked up the bones to gnaw every bit of meat clean off. The broth was tasty, not too sweet or rich. And the noodles were good too. Didn't order anything else but also glad we didn't. The serving size doesn't look huge but I left pretty full. I don't usually think of Pho when talking about Cypress but I would definitely visit pretty regularly if I lived closer.

This place is a hidden GEM. My husband and I ordered the oxtail pho and oxtail fried rice along with fried salmon belly since we were extra hungry. Everything was amazing! The costs seemed very reasonable too considering how pricy oxtail can be. For all 3 dishes, we paid $50 total and the portions were very generous. Highly recommend checking this place out!

The shaken style beef pho is by far my favorite! It has so much flavor, and the spring rolls are very flavorful.

Surprisingly haven't had pho in a while, so I was excited to try this spot out. Parking: Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: Once I walked in, I was asked if I was ordering out or dining in. The cash register is towards the back. They have a large space with a decent amount of indoor seating. No outdoor seating. Love the interior and lights. It accommodates groups of all sizes. Service: There was one female server that assisted me. She was courteous and efficient. Throughput for food was quick; around 8 min after ordering. The drinks took a big longer for whatever reason. All the food came out before the drinks. Foods & drinks: 1. House Special Combination - This is one of their specialty pho that includes bone-in ribs, rib eye, and brisket in beef broth. There was a generous amount of meats. The noodles were cooked well. The broth might've contained way too much MSG because I was constantly drinking water. Other than that, the pho was enjoyable. 2. Banh Hoi Heo Quay - This dish was recommended to me because it's their newest dish. It has pork, noodles, vegetables and nuoc mam. The nuoc mam was delicious. The pork skin was crispppyyy, and they give you a lot of pork! The vegetables were fresh. The noodles were organized into cute rectangles. Since the lettuce was chopped, I took pieces of pork, wrapped it in the noodles, and topped it with vegetables instead. I also poured the nuoc mam over the noodles for more flavor. 3. Cajun Pork Jowl - These were seasoned well, but I also think there was too much MSG. The creamy sauce made it more flavorful. 4. Egg Coffee - Their coffee was strong. The egg cream was thick and sweet. The cream and coffee balanced each other well. 5. Tropical Twister - This smoothie contains strawberry, pineapple, and mango. Absolutely refreshing! Pricing: These prices are the new average prices for Viet food. I don't go out to eat Vietnamese food often because I grew up eating it. When I do though, I'm glad it's as enjoyable as this experience.

Compared to Westminster/Garden Grove - I'd say this broth is not as flavorful but scratches the pho itch. The meat js tender and the service was fast

Vietnamese restaurant how do useful modern vibe and offered casual dining. The food was outstanding! Sauces were wonderful. The crispy salmon belly and spring rolls were the perfect appetizer. The vermicelli and fried rice were large portions and delicious. The service was kind and prompt and very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Incredible service. Wyn was so kind to my toddler and I. She helped us get the brisket pho fast before my hungry kiddo had a melt down. I've been 6 times in the last year and every time the people and atmosphere are kind, clean, and welcoming. My 6yr old loves the pho too. It's got a really nice aesthetic that is warm and inviting. My family is grateful for this restaurant!

Maybe it's not such a hot take since I grew up with Vietnamese food... But whenever I have it now (sparingly) as an adult, it just makes me feel so satisfied and comforted. Pho Alley in Cypress serves classic Vietnamese dishes that we all know and love including phở (of course), but some extra comforting menu items as well. Such as their insanely gorgeous oxtail *BONE MARROW* stone pot fried rice and House shaken fries--their version of loaded fries. Everything tasted SO DELICIOUS! Big bone pho was solid with lots of meat. Fries were chef's kiss. The bone marrow fried rice is probably the best thing I've eaten so far in 2025. I literally dream of her. And to complement the flavor and savoriness of our meal, we also had traditional Vietnamese drip coffee and egg coffee. Both surprisingly very good too! 10/10 experience, definitely coming back!

    Pho Beef Belly
    Vany S.

The place is clean and "hipster"-ish. Servers are friendly. They have hoisin sauce and sriracha on table, chili paste and chili oil available upon request. We ordered Pho with Tofu, Pho Beef Belly and a side of Bone Marrow and Bun with Shrimp. Didn't take pics of all orders since we were super hungry ! Pho broth was flavorful. Bun could've used more protein, bone marrow was simple and savory.

I understand that the wait time could be long, but the fact that they gave my order for the customers who came after me was ridiculously funny. I'm not mad because of the wait time, it was Sat and the market was busy too, simply felt like I got disrespected. A few more guests came in after us, but most of the tables remained open. We ordered the #7 Shrimp Spring Rolls ($8.95) to start. They were edible, but the texture was a little stale and chewy, almost like they had been made earlier in the day and refrigerated a bit too long. Compared to spring rolls we've had at other Vietnamese restaurants, these fell short. My wife ordered the #24 Beef Pho with Rare Steak ($13.95), while I had the #23 Beef Pho Combo (14.95). Both bowls were served with a fairly bland broth and noticeably less meat than we're used to seeing at a similar price point elsewhere. That said, the service was excellent. Our server stayed on top of everything and checked in several times to make sure we were happy with our meal. The restaurant was also very clean and organized.
