After passing this restaurant dozens of times, we finally stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is kind of hidden from the street, but the strip mall parking is good and Pho An has a pleasant atmosphere as you walk in. We sat down and our server quickly bought over menus with a good selection of pho, vermicelli salads and the Banh mi sandwich, which was hubs choice for lunch. I decided to order the vermicelli salad and it was fresh and flavorful. This restaurant is small but clean and the chairs are comfortable. We had a nice lunch and the price didn't seem too high. Vietnamese food is always a treat, and we're looking forward to another lunch soon. read more

I must say that Pho An has been the most authentic Asian food I have had in south west FL in the past few years I have been traveling there. Full disclosure, I do not think they are as good as the Pho places I am accustomed to in NYC. Every restaurant's broth will taste slightly different. Pho An's taste a bit too sweet and cinnamony to me... but it isn't bad in any way IMO. Their noodles are fine. Loved that they provide bean sprouts (although not the freshest), basil and lime on the side. For me, their Pho didn't measure up in the meat dept. Too over cooked. I was very happy to have found a CLASSIC Banh Mi in FL! I have had trouble finding it in the areas I frequent in NY. LOVE the pate and Vietnamese ham... it really hits the spot all combined with mayo, cilantro and good, crispy baguette. I now know where to go next time I tire of the run of the mill chains next time I am in the neighborhood. Our servers were very courteous and pleasant. The establishment is nothing like what an Asian restaurant would look like up here in NYC, but, it is clean and bright. read more

terrible Bun. the worst I've ever had and I've had a lot. I could not even eat the horrible pork. I can't believe the pho would be good if the bun and the "speing roll" in it are so terrible. I had to ask for bean sprouts and of course there was no basil. IF you know Vietnamese food drive by this place. read more

Questionable food. Egg rolls - inedible Chicken fried rice - old, dried out chicken. MAYBE 15 small cubes of carrots. Very bland. Couldn't finish the meal it was so bad. Pho - palatable although only one size (medium bowl for the price of a large bowl.) Boba drink - ok Vietnamese coffee - ok except not served in the traditional drip style. Big cup filled with ice. Wait person came by once with water. Food was served and we never saw anyone again. Sat outside. Fine if you enjoy the ambiance of a parking lot. Bill - $70 Save your money. Somewhat disappointed at the lack of flavor of the soup other than a strong fish sauce flavor. Due to their simple menu offerings, I was expecting their beef pho soup to knock it out of the park. I ordered the pho special with four kids of meat and the servings are not generous. I would have expected the broth to be simmered with more Beef bone / oxtail / leg and neck bones to extract more flavor. The meat was mostly at the bottom of the bowl so the rare beef was completely over cooked. No amount of herbs/limes would have salvaged the broth. Thankfully they had the rooster sriracha sauce that helped partially save the day. The iced coffee with condense milk is really strong and yummy. I would come to try the sandwich but probably skip the pho. read more

I came here on a Friday night for dinner with my family. Despite the pouring rain, this place was packed. There was limited seating but we didn't have to wait long for a table. We ordered the special pho noodle soup, the grilled pork banh mi sandwich, the grilled chicken over rice platter, and the pork vermicelli bowl. The grilled pork banh mi sandwich had great toasted bread and nicely grilled pork. However, there were not much pickled vegetables (carrot, daikon) at all and instead they put a lot of cilantro and scallions. The special pho was a bit bland but it had a lot of meat. The grilled chicken was juicy and the rice was flavorful. It was nice to find a place that has decent Vietnamese food in Naples of all places. read more

I am a fan of Vietnamese food in general as you have the relatively easy option to go spicy by physically adding or removing jalapenos and/ or siracha/ other chili sauce - which makes it easy on the stomach compared to say Indian, Malaysian, Indonesian, etc where menu has curried fare. So it was difficult to decide off the bat from the simple menu since I wanted everything but know I can't eat everything. Ultimately I went with the chicken and rice dish with a worry that the egg won't be well done and alas it wasn't. Whew! (Thank you French influence of showing how delicious a runny egg is). The rice was even seasoned well (with chicken oil?) Meanwhile, sitting next to us - a girl alone who I shall call Hero. Focused. Earbuds on watching a show on her phone propped by sauce bottles slurping on a bowl of pho... AND a bahn mi. Only small things to tweak - more pickled veg in the bahn mi, less ice in the bubble tea, 3-5 more hours/ more bone for the pho broth, and this place would be perfect. read more

Pho An's food is totally undesirable AND the service follows. When I was there, I ordered the Pho with beef flank and tendon. The noodles were mushy and the broth was beyond blend. I let the server know that I didn't like it after taking a bite. From my understanding, she was going to take the meal off of the check. When I went to check out for the soda, I was told that the Pho would not be taken off the bill. I let her know that I will not pay because the meal was uneatable. I was met with rudeness and was told to never come back to Pho An again. If I could give the restaurant 0 stars, I would but Yelp doesn't allow it. I hope people get to read this post and don't take the trip to spend with this establishment. Save gas and go elsewhere. read more

I ordered the steak pho $16.50, price was high but pho was good and it was big enough for 2. Small restaurant with 4-6 tables inside and 1-2 outside. This restaurant was clean and has counter and table service. The menu seemed rather small but they will go over the dishes with you if you're new to Vietnamese cuisine. read more

Small restaurant but the food was excellent. We ordered two Bon Mi's, one pork, one chicken. Both were packed with flavor. The baguette was perfect: crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside. Also, shrimp rolls were outstanding. Service was attentive. Next visit I'm looking forward to trying their Pho. read more

New to me, so I went and tried it. It's in the King's Lake Publix shopping plaza. It's so busy there and such a hassle to find good parking. When I walked in I noticed how everything was clean and cool inside. The staff were friendly and patient. I ended up ordering an order of egg rolls (3), pork spring rolls (2), pork banh mi, and a signature tea without the boba. The tea was good, not too sweet, the sandwich was ok, I thought it would've been more filling, the spring rolls were ok also, not enough meat, and the egg rolls were great. I would most definitely order the egg rolls again. I'll probably try the pho from here next time, but the sandwiches were a no for me, unfortunately. read more

I often crave Vietnamese food. But, having tasted many Vietnamese restaurants in the Chicago area, I found these dishes to be just average. The flavors of the dipping sauce for egg rolls and the grilled chicken in the bun noodle salad were much milder and toned down from what I am used to. These dishes are definitely catered to the palate of the locals. Try making your dishes more authentic with the flavors of your culture to show how delicious and mouthwatering Vietnamese food is. Don't be afraid to add the garlic, chilis, and lemongrass! They make your dishes original to what they are! The Nuoc Mam dipping sauce, when made properly, is so addictive and is amazing with grilled meats and fresh spring rolls! read more

Little place in a strip mall. Had special pho and a spring roll, both were excellent especially the pho, great broth, all the side (sprouts, basil, peppers). Huge bowl took half of it home. They have boba teas, not a huge list but I had green tea milk and my friend had Vietnamese coffee, both were very good. Prices are good especially in this area. I will definitely be back for more pho. They also have vermicelli salads , sandwiches and fried rice. Really nice little place. read more

I flew into Naples FL and craved some Pho. I stopped by Pho An to try it out and I was impressed. the Pho aroma smelled so good, and I was not disappointed. in addition, the service was top notch and the staff was extremely friendly. The meat in the ramen was fork-tender and full of umami; the ramen was chewy; and it was served with a wide variety of fresh vegetables (zucchin, broccoli, carrot, onions, green onions, corn, microgreens, pickled ginger). The ramen was ~5oz. PS: the noodles are salty -- ramens are meant to be salty. Service was awesome. Several things that my server impressed me: 1. He asked me about my food allergies -- important for seafood-dense restaurants like a Japanese restaurant. 2. I asked for some extra ramen when I just got the entree. He suggested to bring me the extra when I almost finish the ramen in my entree. Surprisingly, he brought a small bowl of ramen exactly when I was about to finish it -- very precise and customer-oriented. 3. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. 4. When he was taking the order of another table, he gave recommendations to the customers based on their dietary preferences, instead of blindly mentioning the "signature dishes" like most servers do. Moreover, when the customers ordered food, he squat down to listen what they said carefully. So, yes, I speak highly of this restaurant. Definitely recommend it. And I will dine in it again next time I visit Naples.

I liked that a lot. Food - the beef and egg banh mi was good. I paid extra for pate and butter but didn't really think it was enough... I compared it to my sister's banh mi and it was the same amount and she didn't pay for extra. The bread was toasty and crispy. The beef is very tender. Meat/veggie ratio to bread was the perfect amount. The addition of the egg made the banh mi so good. My only complaint was the extra pate and butter. I expect it to be dripping out the bread if I'm paying $2 for extra... lol Spring rolls were good also. Plump and stuffed. Peanut sauce was good. I did also tried their Vietnamese coffee but wasn't a fan. It was too sweet for me and texture was like a smoothie. I'm sure that's just my preference because others might like it. Overall, great addition. I would definitely come back if I'm there for a quick bite.

My husband's half ended up having all the mozzarella and no dog. My husband ordered the spicy prime rib tonkotsu and I ordered the lunch prime rib tonkotsu. The portion size seemed to be the same but the lunch order didn't have all the same extras in the bowl. The noodles of both bowls were pretty bland, rubbery, and left a film in my mouth. My husband's broth was slightly more flavorful, but that is because of the spicy bomb in it. All in all, the broth was pretty lacking and did not build up any flavor. The fish cake in my husband's bowl was not good at all. It tasted like gummy pasta with a gross flavor. The seaweed sheet in the bowls was weird and only added a fishy unpleasant taste. Our server was nice, but the food is disappointing. My husband has made ramen bowls at home before and all I can say is his have much more flavorful and he's not a chef. The food is okay, but I wouldn't recommend and we won't be returning.

The brown rice (it was definitely not fried rice) and Egg Roll were both disappointing. Overall - prices are reasonable. Service and food are very good. However, to be frank, it was barely a 4 Star experience.
