Who knew this small restaurant in a strip mall could be such a gem? Good food, nice service and pleasant atmosphere. Great for lunch. Will come back.

We stumbled upon this pho restaurant while driving down Stevens Creek Blvd and decided to give it a try. Ordered: -Egg Rolls - came out fresh off the fryer golden brown, crispy, and a great appetizer to start off with -Fried Eggs and Sausages Banh Mi -Pork Ham and Steamed Slice Pork Banh Mi (Forgot to take a pics) -the bread was nicely toasted and they were solid Banh mi--however, I wish it had more spread/sauce added to it. Needed more flavor. -GOGO Combo Pho (rare fillet mignon, brisket, meat balls) -GOGO Combo Rice (grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin, & egg cake) Both combo dishes were cooked and prepared well and we enjoyed the variety of proteins included in each of the combo meals. The pho broth was light and not too overpowering, meats were soft, and noodles were cooked well. Service was fast and attentive, menu was straightforward and had appealing pictures, the inside is clean with good amount of seating. I'd definitely come back to try other dishes.

Hole in the wall with super fresh vermicelli and very friendly staff. Food came out fast and the vegetables were crispy and noodles just right. Would come back to try the pho next time!

This place is walking distance to me and my partner had been wanting to check it out for awhile. There's a pretty small parking lot but we didn't have any issue finding a space when we came here. It wasn't too busy, and there was one guy serving, cleaning, taking orders, and handling the payments. A hallmark of a true Viet place. He was very friendly and offered great service! I got the bun ga nuong, and was pleasantly surprised by the addition of mango and apple. A pretty good portion size as well. The chicken was nicely cooked. My partner got the pho tai and enjoyed it. They offered a good amount of herbs, bean sprouts, and interestingly enough gave us packets of hoisin and sriracha instead of the bottles. They even gave us scissors to open the packets. Overall, we had a good meal and I even came back for a second visit! On my second visit, we decided to walk over and I called my order in ahead of time. Got a bun thit nuong this time and quite liked it. The meat was a teensy bit tough but honestly great regardless. Would definitely come back next time I want Viet food.

What we ordered: * #13 pho bowl Service * Speedy service with no fluff * Pay at the counter when done. Ambience * They recently remodeled the inside and it looks quite nice. * Quite inside and not too many people A solid place for pho. One of my local favorites. Don't sleep on this place.

Grilled Meat Vermicelli Salad & Well-Done Flank Steak Pho

I enjoyed the Grilled Meat Vermicelli Salad. The lemongrass pork was a little dry, but marinated really well. It was flavorful. I love that they add fruits to this! Mango, apple, etc. It balanced out the flavors of the savory meat and fish sauce. I wish I added cha gio with this! The pho was a little bit of a let down. The broth was somewhat bland and the portion was very small! For $1.50 you can upgrade to a large, which could be worth it since the regular is tiny. Not much meat and the noodles were stuck together.

generous amount of flank with richly flavored pho broth, ~$15 per medium sized bowl. table, utensils, floor were clean. legit good service. good juice and smoothie selection. street parking

    Beef sandwich. $8.95

The cheapest place. Beef sandwich with one strip of meat. $8.95. Amazing. I would not recommend to come here. I guess the Trump's tariff has hit restaurant already.

Came here on New Years day because everything was closed and I was properly hungover and needed my Pho fix. It's a little shop tucked away in this small plaza. There are plenty of seats inside. It seems like there were only 2 people working but they were definitely working hard and doing their best with great attitudes. So huge plus for that. They don't keep their condiments at each table, but they kept them up front by the counter. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to bring it back to my table or just make a saucer up there. The pho is decent, the broth wasn't super rich, and the meat was just of okay quality. I got a large combo, and while there was a ton of noodles, I think the amount of meat was on the lighter side. Also, the bowl is shaped oddly and inconvenient for resting your chopsticks on - but the shape also make it look like you're getting less than what you actually get. I was surprised how much food was in the bowl (but again, mostly noodles). Overall a decent spot with a lighter broth. I have my go-to pho place, but I know this spot will be open on holidays when other spots are closed.

    Gogo Vegetarian Pho. So good!

While having pho at Pho Nam, I considered grabbing a few sandwiches there to bring back to the hotel. I had a hot date with Netflix later and absolutely no intention of going out again. But not far away is Cam Hung, a tiny Vietnamese sandwich shop specializing in bánh mì. It's cheap, and it's in the kind of quiet Sunnyvale strip mall where parking is not an act of war. It shares the plaza with a Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist. On a Sunday afternoon, the place was practically deserted. Perfect. I walked in and immediately realized this was much more than a sandwich counter. The tiny shop is crammed with prepared foods, spring rolls, steamed buns, Vietnamese desserts, dried snacks, candy and all kinds of things I couldn't identify but probably wanted. The main attraction, however, is the bánh mì. These are big sandwiches, and even the most expensive ones top out at around $9. I got a Chinese barbecue pork and a ham and pork roll to take back to the hotel, along with a bag of roasted candied garlic and chile peanuts. I came dangerously close to buying the peanut brittle too, but the sugar would have nailed me. Even I have limits.

I was skeptical when my friend chose a…read morevegetarian place for her birthday dinner, but she said she had been before and the food is really good. I am one of those people who thinks that just about every meal needs animal protein or it won't be satisfying. Well, Happy Flower proved me wrong because I came away with a very happy and full stomach and I did not even miss the meat! We ordered 8 different dishes to share family style, and I was especially pleased with the all seasons sampler and vegan fried rolls appetizers, as well as the pad Thai, salted fish fried rice, hainan chicken rice, tomato fish, and happy clay pot entrees. Each dish was quite large such that all 9 of us were able to try generous portions of each dish. And then we got two servings of the mango sticky rice to share and the mango was amazingly sweet! I did not try their boba drinks, but a few of my friends ordered drinks and enjoyed them. Their boba drinks are sized quite large as well. I will say, the meat doesn't necessarily taste like the meat it purports to imitate, but the textures for the fake chicken and fish are pretty spot on! Service was friendly and helpful and they delivered the dishes at a good pace. The inside isn't fancy, but it's clean and well lit and spacious. I wish I had known about this hidden gem sooner, but they had a good clip of takeout orders and families coming in for dinner. Parking is also plentiful and easy in their large attached lot. I will be back!

I decided to try them out when seeking a vegetarian-friendly restaurant in the area…read more Crispy tofu: I asked for no peanut sauce. Crispy, and there is salt and black pepper in it, but overall it doesn't have much flavor outside of the sauce. Lemongrass fish lunch plate modified to have soy beef (you can switch out the protein): The broccoli itself itself was just steamed with no flavoring, so that was underwhelming. But the lemongrass beef is pretty good, firm and chewy not spicy. One of the others in my party got the eastern duck soup, which has a stronger soup flavor, you can taste the anise. It also has shiitake mushrooms. It came with veggie drumsticks, on an actual stick, but just takes like soy protein, doesn't really taste like duck. I tried a bit of Cali pho too, which was mild but pleasant, it has a ton of vegetables. Overall I'd give it more of a 3.5/5, there were certainly some items that could've used better seasoning/flavoring, but I do appreciate the amount of options that are suitable for vegetarians and actually being able to enjoy noodle soups that would usually have been meat-based. They do have outdoor tables and at the time when I had gone, no one else was sitting outside.

The servers were all nice and quick with everything, even the robot server that brought us our drinks was cute. Food was really good. I ordered two things of chicken pho, one kid sized and one 'just enough,' summer rolls, and a tutti frutti drink. The pho was flavourful, didnt even need any sauce which in my opinion is a great sign on flavour of broth. The portion size was perfect and I actually finished everything! Only con was that the noodles felt a bit tough in the beginning but letting it soak longer in the broth made them softer. Drink was refreshing, yummy, and chewy. Nothing more to say.
