Pho Bar is one of many Vietnamese restaurants in the Mills 50 area, and it's become one of our go-tos. This time, my husband and I ordered the bun cha Ha Noi, which includes grilled meatballs, grilled pork, fresh herbs, and vermicelli noodles. It pairs well with the sweet, tangy fish sauce, but be prepared to get a little messy making the wraps! We also tried the pork and rice dish for the first time here, and it was generous in portion and flavor was great. We skipped pho this time, but during our past visits, the fresh house noodles and clean, flavorful broth have never disappointed. Service is always attentive, and the consistency keeps us coming back!
Pho tasted great! I love that they have cocktails too. Food was a bit slow but we did come at peak hours so that's reasonable. Service was good, they refill water frequently and checked in with us a few times. Inside is bigger than I had expected and have lots of seats and clean. Overall I'd come back again if I want pho and wanted to grab a drink with friends all in one spot.
We visited during lunchtime but had no issues finding a table and getting our food quick. I had the shrimp pho with beef broth and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The broth was amazing, I'm thinking about it almost a week later. The house made noodles were not much larger than the thin noodles, but had great consistency and were fresh. I didn't need to add anything to the broth like hoisin or sriracha, it was perfect just like it came. My only downside was the medium bowl was still incredibly too much food, and I felt terrible not being able to take it home (had other stops before). The Vietnamese iced coffee hit the spot and was pleasantly mocha-y and had the kick I was expecting. Would definitely come back and hope to see a location in the St. Cloud area one day!
This is definitely a modern Vietnamese spot not your super traditional pho house but still very good. The pho broth was about an 8/10, flavorful and comforting, but the real star was the Bún Bò Huế. My parents were obsessed 10/10, very authentic and even included traditional pig feet, which you don't always see done right. Service was friendly, but he forgot our Thai tea and only brought it after we had already finished eating. He did comp it which we appreciated but it was mentioned very casually. A quick apology or manager touch would have made the experience 5/5. Overall, really good food, great Bún Bò Huế, and a cool vibe. Definitely worth trying 10/10 would come back!
I found out about this place from the yelp event "Flora and Fables" just recently. The pho is soooooo nice here!!! The broth has such a nice flavor and the fresh flat noodles are amazing! The place is decent looking and they have a pretty good menu. The service is very good. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is a casual restaurant that is pretty well lit. The kitchen looks extremely small but they do well with the food. The only thing that was not good was the popcorn chicken that my daughter got. I think it may have been because we got there at like 8:25 pm and they close at 9 pm so the chicken may have been sitting for a while (bottom of the barrel). It was really dry and hard around (the outer part). My daughter eats chicken almost any way. Like she eats just about every kind of chicken so I was shocked that she didn't like it. That's why we tried it too but she was right. It was very rubbery and hard to eat. It is possible that it was just due to how late we were ordering. Our server Marie was very nice about it though. She was extremely kind and helpful the whole time. I hate complaining about food especially because I know it's not done purposely. I just had to get my daughter separate food after since their kitchen was closed by the time I found out it wasn't good. The checks come as a receipt with a QR code which is SUPER COOL and efficient. It was so easy to pay. Overall, I recommend and I'd go back!
Pho Bar is located in the Mills area. This restaurant is still considered new since it's only been around a few years. The interior is clean, modern, and has a beautiful mural to add to the vibe. I have eaten here at least a dozen times since they opened. The highlight is that the fresh handmade pho noodles are the best I've had so far. The broth is flavorful and robust. I usually order the special rib bone Pho which comes with a sizable hunk of meat that falls off the bone. I also enjoyed the Banh Beo appetizer which is a traditional and popular Vietnamese dish of small, steamed rice cakes with dried shrimp and oil infused scallions topping, accompanied by with a dipping sauce of sweet and spicy fish sauce. Their drinks are hit or miss. The service and friendliness of the staff is always consistent. That alone is a good reason to come back. What I have noticed the last few times is the quality has gone done a bit. Usually when I order my $24 bowl of rib bone pho, it feels elevated. However the last time I went there I got it in a small bowl, which is typically in a XL bowl, and everything seemed to be scaled down for the same price point. The flavor was a little off, but still flavorful. Mind you, I don't mind paying for quality pho even if it's overinflated. However, I have been to a few hole in the wall pho restaurants with less bells and whistles with the same quality. Although the past few meals there have been underwhelming, I still love the hand pulled Pho noodles here. I will give it another chance simply because it's always a treat to go to a place where I actually crave their noodles and can overlook the other discrepancies! There's a small parking lot and street parking available.
I think it's fair to say that Pho Bar is the best pho restaurant in Orlando considering the 3 Yelp review elements: food, service, and ambiance. My bowl of flank and brisket pho was generous (a huge bowl though "regular size") and flavorful (thanks to the combination of the meats and the broth). The noodles hit the spot -- I'm glad I followed the server's recommendation and went for the house flat noodles. Our sever came to our table several times and our bowls arrived in what it felt like 5 minutes. So fast. The restaurant seemed very clean. Perfect amount of lighting for a pho restaurant and I liked the modern, Asian themed painting on the wall.
Usually this is our favorite Pho restaurant because the food is so good but today we had a disappointing experience with the server Rudy S. He not only forgot to add our drink of Fresh Limeade he also forgot to add the Sticky Ribs to go. He never once checked on us after giving the food. I feel like it does not justify the "Auto-gratuity" this restaurant makes mandatory. Servers should still deserve it. Overall love Pho Bar and the ambiance is clean and aesthetic. But the service today was upsetting
First time at this place. Service was fast. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Therefore Stacy and not that salty. Their pork chop was tender enough, and spiced well. Place is clean and pretty well organized. Will recommend to come back this place again.
Wow!!! Such a great spot. What the Pho, you will be amazed at the great pho and wonderful selection. The house pho special is so tasty, deep flavors, fresh veggies/herbs and plenty of fixings. The eye round & brisket pho was amazing. We also got the spring rolls- which were fresh and flavorful. This is a must try spot for Vietnamese food!
1st of, I was pleasantly surprised for the expectations of the foods, for having Pho Vinh as the ONLY go-to eat for Vietnamese food. The ambiance is clean, bright, modern, and comfortable. The menu was simple, once I familiarized myself to their menu. The chicken wings were very light battered, and flavored just right for tastes. The fried egg rolls, good, and recommended. However, not so on the Spring Rolls (Summer Rolls really), 2 much noodles to justified the prices, won't order future visits. Now, the Steamed Rice Cake (Banh Beo), W-O-W!!! We 2X that order up!!! Main dishes, Curry Chicken with Bread was great, recommend it!! The Pho dishes, yes, clean broth, light in flavors (And didn't get tummy aches after), just absolutely LOVE the "Homemade) noodles!!! Service, quite attentive & hospitable, thanks! Suggestion, trust your customers with the tip/gratituity, if well earned, in this case. It was a turned off when there 5 people (I usually leave the usual 25% - 30%), and I wasn't giving the option from the start. Server left himself short. 2-Star short of 5-Star, why?? The restrooms with NO paper towels at all, and not as cleaned as can be, at 12:40PM? Especially, when there were 4 people standing around conversing?! Suggestion to the management, "Inspect what your patrons expect, and, expect what you're patrons inspect." It's simple, really.
I've been here about 10 times now and can't believe I never left a review. This has easily been my favorite pho spot in the area for the past year. There's a small parking lot in the back, but it's usually not hard to find a spot. The interior is modern, clean, and really nice, with a decent amount of seating. They do only have one bathroom though, so it can get a bit of a line during busy times. Now for the pho. The broth is seasoned perfectly and has that rich, hearty depth you want. You can tell they use just the right amount of bones and meat to give it real body. It's seasoned to my liking. Not too sweet and lets the stock speak for itself. I almost always order the combination pho, and my wife usually gets the short rib. You truly can't go wrong with either, and the meat portions are always generous. Recently I decided to change things up and tried bún bò Huế for the first time, and it was awesome. Spicy, savory, slightly lemony and tangy from the lemongrass, and super rich. If you're feeling adventurous and want something different from standard pho, this is a great option. The rice noodles have a different texture, and it comes with pork trotters and congealed pig blood. If you love tendons in your pho, you'll probably love the trotters -- and honestly, the blood reminded me a lot of bone marrow. We used to order their Thai tea a lot when they first opened, but the last few visits it's been pretty watery. We even tried ordering it with the milk on the side and could definitely tell the brew had changed. We let the staff know a few weeks prior and it seems to have gotten a bit better but not as good as when they first opened. It's been kinda watery the last three times we've gone, so we'll probably just walk to mills market down the street for Thai tea but this review is 100% about the food, not the drinks. Overall, this place is a gem and still my go-to pho spot. Highly recommend.
Solid pho. This and Pho Huong Lan are my go-to pho spots. However, Pho Bar offers a more elevated ambiance - nicer seating, newer restaurant, more attentive service, a bar, etc. Of course, the price point is also higher here, too. They also have great honey garlic wings and mussels served on a sizzling plate. 4 stars only because I don't like the kind of noodles they use. The noodles are handmade, but they have an innate soggy feel that I just don't like with pho. Just preference.

This may be the best pho I've ever had! The big star of the show is the house made fresh rice noodles. Truly worth it. While they have the traditional noodle options, don't pass up these noodles. The spring rolls were also great with an amazing peanut sauce. The menu has several different pho options but the special was really tasty and filling. The portion sizes are large so be prepared. The service was impeccable. They work as a team between seating you, keeping your drinks filled, and running the food. This leads to an experience that will leave you satisfied. I will definitely be back again. The venue has limited non-street parking, so plan accordingly. read more

We LOVE pho bar! The house made noodles here are delicious!! The restaurant is a bit small and is usually extremely busy but it's clean, and has a cozy feel. Our service here is always 10/10. I love the pho but the curry is excellent too! We came in and got the Obama & Bourdain noodle platter to share and this dish is massive! It's very good and filling! Highly recommended! Try the teas here too! I love the orange honey tea but we've tried them all.. you can't go wrong! read more
Oh, the smells that waft through you when you enter... and the food lives up to the olfactory promise! We started with egg rolls and spring rolls. The peanut sauce served with them was divine! Huge pieces of fresh mint, basil, and culantro graced all of the dishes I wanted the Obama and Bourdain bowl and will still be going back for that one, but settled on the pork noodle bowl. Soooooo yummy! Tried the Hangover Cure and the broth on that is miraculous! I will definitely be ordering that for pickup in the future. Our server was awesome as well. I'm generally suspicious of modernized pho houses, but the food hits the spot for any pho cravings. Pho Vinh has been a reliable go-to, so it's great to find another pho spot that delivers great Vietnamese cuisine. You have a variety of noodle types to choose from. Their default seems to be the flatter, wide noodles (northern Vietnamese noodles). I tend to get the house combination and I just love the pho that they served here. My only critique is they price it on the higher side. Other than that, don't skip a visit to Pho Bar! read more
Amazing brisket pho and great fish and honey garlic wings. I got the handmade noodles which were great if you eat your whole bowl there, but not great if you have heated leftovers. The house noodles broke down and I even separated they'll from the broth. It made it hard to eat the next day so I would have gotten the regular noodles, like the remaining party. We were introduced to them at a Yelp Elite event and fell in love. The large pho can feed 2 people. read more

Since moving from OC, California's Little Saigon area, finding truly authentic Vietnamese food hasn't been the same, especially since Michigan isn't exactly known for it. So when I travel, I make it a mission to satisfy my cravings. I don't usually order pho, but the waitress recommended their short rib pho and I couldn't resist. She explained that their broth is simmered for over 24 hours and paired with fresh pho noodles and wow, it did not disappoint. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every dish I tried was delicious, and beyond the food, the ambiance and service were exceptional. It's the kind of place that works for any occasion, family outing, catching up with friends, or even a date night. If you're in Orlando or just visiting, definitely bookmark Pho Bar. This spot is a must-try for anyone who loves Vietnamese food or simply wants a great dining experience. read more

This place tasted delicious and the service here was great! The staff is friendly. I came for lunch and I love the atmosphere and the mural on the wall. They serve alcohol drinks too! I would definitely order the PHO again. Huge portion and full of the like cilantro flavor. There was also a bunch of meat in mine too which was fantastic. The wings were fried to perfection but I like wings with a bit more sauce. The flavor was there though. read more
The place was super modern and they definitely have good Bun Bo Hue here for Orlando Vietnamese Food standards. It is alittle pricy but their noodles were homemade and chewy so i will definitely come back for it. They also give you quite alot of protein so that is a plus. For me, i like my pho not as salty as they make it. However, its not bad if you are craving Pho! read more

There are a lot of great pho spots in Orlando, and pho bar definitely joins the ranks! I feel like usually what makes a pho place stand out to me is the broth. And while the broth here is delicious, what really shines are the fresh pho noodles. They're so silky and bouncy and just so so good. The short rib broth is also so worth it's value. It is a bit pricier but it's huge! We were able to share two bowls between four people, and just ordered some extra noodles on the side. I will say, the short rib wasn't as tender as I had expected. But the friends we came with told us it usually was more tender. It might have to do with the fact that we were eating at 3pm. Maybe it would have been cooked better earlier in the day??? Idrk just making excuses for them I guess haha. We also tried the sweet tangy tamarind crispy wings. And this might have been my favorite of the day. The sauce was so sticky and sweet, but the breading was still so crispy. The chicken itself was juicy and meaty, and we could have eaten so much more. Workers are also so friendly, like more than just being nice for service's sake. read more
The API month celebration continues! We wanted to support an Asian-owned business over the weekend, so we took the whole fam to Pho Bar in Mills 50 for lunch. This spot has been on my list for awhile and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations! My mother-in-law was in town visiting and this ended up being a great choice. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and I love all the wood accents and plants. They also get my stamp of approval on the chair selection. This was actually my son's first time sitting in a highchair at a restaurant and they were very accommodating. This is definitely a family-friendly place and there were lots of babies and small children enjoying meals with their families. They are known for their chewy, fresh house-made rice vermicelli noodles, and you really can't go wrong with any of their noodle dishes. I got the grilled shrimp & noodles (Bun Tom Nuong), my husband got the grilled chicken & rice (Com Ga Nuong), and my MIL got the grilled pork & noodles (Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio). We all 3 enjoyed our dishes and even shared with our little guy to let him try some new flavors. The service was excellent and we'll definitely be back to Pho Bar sooner than later! P.S. Absolutely delicious! Ordered pick up a couple times and I crave this pho now. The rare eye round is the way to go in my opinion. Upon pickup you can smell the incredible aromatics of this place from the parking lot. I highly recommend choosing their house made noodles over the regular ones. The restaurant had that relaxed weekend energy -- busy enough to feel lively but still calm and easygoing. Service moved quickly, and we were greeted right away, which set a nice tone for the rest of the visit. I ordered my usual bowl of pho, and what keeps me coming back is how consistent the broth is every single time. It's rich but clean, flavorful without being overpowering, and you can tell it's been simmered with care. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and generous. Started going here since they first opened a year+ ago, and it's been perfect each and every time. We've eaten nearly everything on the menu and each dish, from pho to bun to rice has been so yummy!! Today, we tried one of their newest dish - bún đậu mắm tôm! Highly recommend!!!! See pic for the beautiful presentation and taste! First, I would like to apologize that I didn't take any photos of the food. Our server Edy was exceptional. It was a breath of fresh air to get topknot service for a change. My wife and I walked in apprehensive, but left with a great experience. I ordered chicken, wings, and fries in honey garlic sauce. Wings were cooked to perfection just the way I like it. I don't know batter or how they fried it but it was so crunchy and juicy on the inside. I definitely give the wings a 10 out of 10. My wife had the eye round pho which she enjoyed she gave it a 7.5 out of 10. The ambience was really chic which I loved. This is definitely our go to place for Vietnamese food! Every single item is made from scratch and high quality. Pho Bar delivered a solid experience. The service was great and the pho was pretty good -- flavorful and satisfying. I also liked their interesting take on drinks, especially the craft alcoholic options, which is a nice touch you don't usually see at pho spots. The staff was friendly and welcoming, though the place is on the smaller side and fills up quickly. Atmosphere is lively and clean. Pho Bar has a cool, intimate space with limited seating, but in this case, it works. The room was filled with a lively mix of conversation and kitchen sounds that gave it a vibrant, energetic feel rather than cramped. I ordered the flank and brisket pho. The broth was silky and well-balanced, rich without being heavy. Their hand-pulled noodles were a highlight, tender with great texture, though next time I may try the vermicelli just to switch it up. The bowl came generously loaded with meat and all the fresh garnishes you expect. With so many strong pho spots around, it takes something special to stand out, and Pho Bar absolutely holds its own. It's one of the better places in the area for a satisfying, comforting bowl. I'd happily return. read more

We tried Pho Bar recently and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the house special pho with house-made noodles and a pork chop rice plate, and both exceeded my expectations. The noodles really stood out--they were clearly fresh, not overcooked, and held their shape nicely in the broth. It was different so really what makes this place stand out. I do feel the broth was a little too salty for my palette, wish there was a stronger herb flavor in the broth, but that's just how I personally like my pho. The pork chop rice plate was also pretty good-generously portioned and satisfying. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and care in the food definitely make it feel worth it. Inside it's definitely very eye catching and modern, probably one of reason this place is popular. Gives of your modern hip bar vibes. Service was excellent as well. Our server was incredibly attentive, making sure my husband and I had everything we needed as we shared dishes. All in all, a pretty good dining experience. I personally would prefer other spots for Pho, but we'll be back when we crave for the unique house made noodles. read more
I dont give 5 stars often but I was impressed when I gave this place a try. I can say it has jumped into my top 2 pho places in Orlando. The broth (which is a make or break for me) was rich and aromatic. I like the in-house made noodles. The apps were good as well. I think they were still in their grand opening phase when I went so I'll give them time to improve in their service. I see most complaints are on pricing and automatic gratuity. Yes their pho prices are a few dollars more than average but I felt the better quality justified the slightly higher price. The automatic gratuity doesn't bother me as I normally tip 20% anyways opposed to their 18% auto. I'll be returning soon so hoping they can keep their consistency after grand opening. read more
Decided to stop by after a conference after hearing about their special noodles. Stepping in it was a clean space with modern details. It lacks the charm of older Vietnamese restaurants but makes sense for the clients coming in. After ordering the pho, I tried the soup, it's good, definitely tell it was done well. Now the noodles, never really had anything like it before. Definitely tasted fresh but it wasn't as bouncy. Noodles is a preference so I'll say try this place out just to experience something new. You might change your preference. Service is standard as usual so nothing crazy there. Definitely try it if you haven't gone before read more
