Pho tasted great! I love that they have cocktails too. Food was a bit slow but we did come at peak hours so that's reasonable. Service was good, they refill water frequently and checked in with us a few times. Inside is bigger than I had expected and have lots of seats and clean. Overall I'd come back again if I want pho and wanted to grab a drink with friends all in one spot.
This is definitely a modern Vietnamese spot not your super traditional pho house but still very good. The pho broth was about an 8/10, flavorful and comforting, but the real star was the Bún Bò Huế. My parents were obsessed 10/10, very authentic and even included traditional pig feet, which you don't always see done right. Service was friendly, but he forgot our Thai tea and only brought it after we had already finished eating. He did comp it which we appreciated but it was mentioned very casually. A quick apology or manager touch would have made the experience 5/5. Overall, really good food, great Bún Bò Huế, and a cool vibe. Definitely worth trying 10/10 would come back!
I found out about this place from the yelp event "Flora and Fables" just recently. The pho is soooooo nice here!!! The broth has such a nice flavor and the fresh flat noodles are amazing! The place is decent looking and they have a pretty good menu. The service is very good. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is a casual restaurant that is pretty well lit. The kitchen looks extremely small but they do well with the food. The only thing that was not good was the popcorn chicken that my daughter got. I think it may have been because we got there at like 8:25 pm and they close at 9 pm so the chicken may have been sitting for a while (bottom of the barrel). It was really dry and hard around (the outer part). My daughter eats chicken almost any way. Like she eats just about every kind of chicken so I was shocked that she didn't like it. That's why we tried it too but she was right. It was very rubbery and hard to eat. It is possible that it was just due to how late we were ordering. Our server Marie was very nice about it though. She was extremely kind and helpful the whole time. I hate complaining about food especially because I know it's not done purposely. I just had to get my daughter separate food after since their kitchen was closed by the time I found out it wasn't good. The checks come as a receipt with a QR code which is SUPER COOL and efficient. It was so easy to pay. Overall, I recommend and I'd go back!
Usually this is our favorite Pho restaurant because the food is so good but today we had a disappointing experience with the server Rudy S. He not only forgot to add our drink of Fresh Limeade he also forgot to add the Sticky Ribs to go. He never once checked on us after giving the food. I feel like it does not justify the "Auto-gratuity" this restaurant makes mandatory. Servers should still deserve it. Overall love Pho Bar and the ambiance is clean and aesthetic. But the service today was upsetting
Pho Bar is located in the Mills area. This restaurant is still considered new since it's only been around a few years. The interior is clean, modern, and has a beautiful mural to add to the vibe. I have eaten here at least a dozen times since they opened. The highlight is that the fresh handmade pho noodles are the best I've had so far. The broth is flavorful and robust. I usually order the special rib bone Pho which comes with a sizable hunk of meat that falls off the bone. I also enjoyed the Banh Beo appetizer which is a traditional and popular Vietnamese dish of small, steamed rice cakes with dried shrimp and oil infused scallions topping, accompanied by with a dipping sauce of sweet and spicy fish sauce. Their drinks are hit or miss. The service and friendliness of the staff is always consistent. That alone is a good reason to come back. What I have noticed the last few times is the quality has gone done a bit. Usually when I order my $24 bowl of rib bone pho, it feels elevated. However the last time I went there I got it in a small bowl, which is typically in a XL bowl, and everything seemed to be scaled down for the same price point. The flavor was a little off, but still flavorful. Mind you, I don't mind paying for quality pho even if it's overinflated. However, I have been to a few hole in the wall pho restaurants with less bells and whistles with the same quality. Although the past few meals there have been underwhelming, I still love the hand pulled Pho noodles here. I will give it another chance simply because it's always a treat to go to a place where I actually crave their noodles and can overlook the other discrepancies! There's a small parking lot and street parking available.
I think it's fair to say that Pho Bar is the best pho restaurant in Orlando considering the 3 Yelp review elements: food, service, and ambiance. My bowl of flank and brisket pho was generous (a huge bowl though "regular size") and flavorful (thanks to the combination of the meats and the broth). The noodles hit the spot -- I'm glad I followed the server's recommendation and went for the house flat noodles. Our sever came to our table several times and our bowls arrived in what it felt like 5 minutes. So fast. The restaurant seemed very clean. Perfect amount of lighting for a pho restaurant and I liked the modern, Asian themed painting on the wall.
Wow!!! Such a great spot. What the Pho, you will be amazed at the great pho and wonderful selection. The house pho special is so tasty, deep flavors, fresh veggies/herbs and plenty of fixings. The eye round & brisket pho was amazing. We also got the spring rolls- which were fresh and flavorful. This is a must try spot for Vietnamese food!
1st of, I was pleasantly surprised for the expectations of the foods, for having Pho Vinh as the ONLY go-to eat for Vietnamese food. The ambiance is clean, bright, modern, and comfortable. The menu was simple, once I familiarized myself to their menu. The chicken wings were very light battered, and flavored just right for tastes. The fried egg rolls, good, and recommended. However, not so on the Spring Rolls (Summer Rolls really), 2 much noodles to justified the prices, won't order future visits. Now, the Steamed Rice Cake (Banh Beo), W-O-W!!! We 2X that order up!!! Main dishes, Curry Chicken with Bread was great, recommend it!! The Pho dishes, yes, clean broth, light in flavors (And didn't get tummy aches after), just absolutely LOVE the "Homemade) noodles!!! Service, quite attentive & hospitable, thanks! Suggestion, trust your customers with the tip/gratituity, if well earned, in this case. It was a turned off when there 5 people (I usually leave the usual 25% - 30%), and I wasn't giving the option from the start. Server left himself short. 2-Star short of 5-Star, why?? The restrooms with NO paper towels at all, and not as cleaned as can be, at 12:40PM? Especially, when there were 4 people standing around conversing?! Suggestion to the management, "Inspect what your patrons expect, and, expect what you're patrons inspect." It's simple, really.
I've been here about 10 times now and can't believe I never left a review. This has easily been my favorite pho spot in the area for the past year. There's a small parking lot in the back, but it's usually not hard to find a spot. The interior is modern, clean, and really nice, with a decent amount of seating. They do only have one bathroom though, so it can get a bit of a line during busy times. Now for the pho. The broth is seasoned perfectly and has that rich, hearty depth you want. You can tell they use just the right amount of bones and meat to give it real body. It's seasoned to my liking. Not too sweet and lets the stock speak for itself. I almost always order the combination pho, and my wife usually gets the short rib. You truly can't go wrong with either, and the meat portions are always generous. Recently I decided to change things up and tried bún bò Huế for the first time, and it was awesome. Spicy, savory, slightly lemony and tangy from the lemongrass, and super rich. If you're feeling adventurous and want something different from standard pho, this is a great option. The rice noodles have a different texture, and it comes with pork trotters and congealed pig blood. If you love tendons in your pho, you'll probably love the trotters -- and honestly, the blood reminded me a lot of bone marrow. We used to order their Thai tea a lot when they first opened, but the last few visits it's been pretty watery. We even tried ordering it with the milk on the side and could definitely tell the brew had changed. We let the staff know a few weeks prior and it seems to have gotten a bit better but not as good as when they first opened. It's been kinda watery the last three times we've gone, so we'll probably just walk to mills market down the street for Thai tea but this review is 100% about the food, not the drinks. Overall, this place is a gem and still my go-to pho spot. Highly recommend.
Huge servings!!! Love their tamarind sauce and fish sauce chicken wings! And the pork chop, really tender! If you want to experience great food, friendly service and nice atmosphere, go here! Spent awesome time with friends here also, don't miss the happy hour for 50% off for ALL the drinks.
Solid pho. This and Pho Huong Lan are my go-to pho spots. However, Pho Bar offers a more elevated ambiance - nicer seating, newer restaurant, more attentive service, a bar, etc. Of course, the price point is also higher here, too. They also have great honey garlic wings and mussels served on a sizzling plate. 4 stars only because I don't like the kind of noodles they use. The noodles are handmade, but they have an innate soggy feel that I just don't like with pho. Just preference.
Amazing brisket pho and great fish and honey garlic wings. I got the handmade noodles which were great if you eat your whole bowl there, but not great if you have heated leftovers. The house noodles broke down and I even separated they'll from the broth. It made it hard to eat the next day so I would have gotten the regular noodles, like the remaining party. We were introduced to them at a Yelp Elite event and fell in love. The large pho can feed 2 people.
This is a fairly new spot compared to the other Vietnamese spots in the area. I thought the pho broth was really flavorful and portion sizes were great. Service was pretty quick and the atmosphere is lovely. The parking situation is a bit tough, but that's kind of expected in this area of town. read more

The servers were really nice and helpful to each other. The food was amazing and customizable which added value! The Shrimp Pho was amazing. The portion was very large. The lychee martini was perfect. It would have been nice to know that gratuity would be automatically added to the check. I would still go back again! Side note, I wasn't a fan of the mussels but the brussel sprouts were great! read more
Food: This place has fresh noodles and the original noodles for pho. They have different items like pho, rice plates, wings, tea and more. The pho is good but it's hard to say it's anything unique compared to the other places near by. The peanut sauce with the spring rolls was good. Service: First, they add an auto-gratuity without telling you. My party was a party of 2. The service went through the screens on the paying device and didn't say anything. You get a screen with tip 5% through 7%. I found the auto-gratuity when I had the receipt sent to my text message. When I ordered my pho, I asked for the normal/original noodles that come with pho but got the fresh noodles. The fresh noodles are different but I would like the original noodles better because that's what I'm used to. The spring rolls were decent but kinda dry. It wasn't worth $9. You can get good size spring rolls at the local Dong Market a few blocks down. Ambiance: it's a cute small place inside a new strip mall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Since moving from OC, California's Little Saigon area, finding truly authentic Vietnamese food hasn't been the same, especially since Michigan isn't exactly known for it. So when I travel, I make it a mission to satisfy my cravings. I don't usually order pho, but the waitress recommended their short rib pho and I couldn't resist. She explained that their broth is simmered for over 24 hours and paired with fresh pho noodles and wow, it did not disappoint. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every dish I tried was delicious, and beyond the food, the ambiance and service were exceptional. It's the kind of place that works for any occasion, family outing, catching up with friends, or even a date night. If you're in Orlando or just visiting, definitely bookmark Pho Bar. This spot is a must-try for anyone who loves Vietnamese food or simply wants a great dining experience. read more

Ok so the long wait and anticipation for Pho Bar's opening is finally over!! So I had the opportunity to try this spot out during its soft opening and it truly exceeded my expectations. This restaurant is located in one of the strip plazas in Colonialtown right next to the Dunkin Donuts. Since this place just opened and was super busy....parking was a tad bit difficult to find. Their parking lot in the back was filled as well as the street parking... so we had to circle around a bit until one opened up. When first arriving, we were greeted immediately by the lovely hostess and was placed on a waitlist for about roughly 30 mins. The restaurant itself was beautifully designed and decorated. It had much of a modern feel, definitely different from the normal mom and pop pho shops. For food, I ordered the Pho Dac Biet and Fish Sauce Wings and Fries. The pho had a nice flavorful broth, had a perfect amount of toppings and the house made noodles had the perfect bite and chew to them! Now the star of the show was the wings and fries surprisingly! Those were insanely good and perfectly seasoned!! I might even go back next time just to get those as my main meal. I also want to shout out the amazing service that we were provided from beginning to end. Our server was so kind and attentive, constantly checking up on us and asking for our feedback. He even gave amazing recommendations. Even though this spot is a tad bit more pricier than your average pho spot, it is definitely a "must try"!! read more

This is my second time trying Pho Bar, first time at this location. It was great! I really enjoyed the appetizers. We ordered Spring Rolls, Chicken Wings, and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. All items I highly recommend! I wasn't a big fan of the pho so next time will 100% try something new. The staff were very attentive and nice. The ambiance was nice music was a bit loud but overall the design and mural on the wall are beautiful! read more

The interior is nice and gives more of a modern vibe than your typical Vietnamese restaurant. The music was a little louder than I normally liked, which causes everyone to speak loudly. Food was good. We started off with the sweet tangy tamarind wings. The flavor was really good. It was a good combination of sweet and spicy. Let's talk about the Chicken Pho. I'm not normally a fan of Pho because I have not had a chicken Pho that was very good or flavorful till now. The fresh noodles were so good, the soup had a lot of protein and the flavor was the best I have had of any chicken pho. One downside is that the tip was already calculated into our bill (18%). This gave the server zero reason to even check on us. I had to remind her a few times of some things that I already requested. I normally tip more, it left it at that. All and all a good visit and plan on visiting again. We'll be back!!! read more

Came with high hopes and left with amazing feelings about Pho Bar. The hand made pho noodles alone put this pho restaurant at a higher caliber than the already pho filled Orlando scene which is hard to do. The interior has a fresh vibe and has great menu options, like a beef short rib pho that has a premium price but is larger than the normal bowls. The broth is very deep, clear, and well-spiced, having simmered for over a day - definitely not watered down and has a beautiful mouth feel and flavor. There's even a hangover cure and kids menu too! They are a newer spot, so service is fairly good and where there is a miss, the servers are eager to please and fix right away. The waitstaff here like Vinny were so kind to our baby and engaged with him in the best way despite the mess he was making. Overall - I'd call this location a must try when in the Mills 50 area. It's connected to the Dunkin Donuts location across from Lazy Moon, with very limited parking, but very walkable from other Mills Areas too. read more

I heard about this place so I went to try it today. I was there around 130 pm, it is still busy but not crowded. Parking lot is right behind but only about 20 spots. However you can park on the side street or the front. I walked right in and got to my table without waiting. The restaurant spacious and welcoming. The decor's are chic and lovely! My server Kat is friendly and knowledgeable. I got the house special pho just some basic to try out this new place. The broth is very favorable and the noddle are so soft and yummy. The others are so good too. I also got a choice to have the bean sprout steamed which I did and it goes so well with my pho. Overall the food is very yummy and the place is buzzing. I saw the short ribs pho pho from the other table, I definitely will have to come back and try that next time and their drinks also look so delicious! read more
Pho is my jam! Pho Bar has a lot of great options to choose from to get your Viet food cravings satisfied. I opted for the the Pho Tai Nam and Mamas eggrolls. Everything is made super fresh! First off the staff at this place from when you enter to when you leave, they all make you feel so welcome and at home:) The Mamas Eggrolls which are fried crispy and with an amazing pork filling. It is super fresh so be careful and give it a few seconds to cool down. Lesson Learned:) there is an array of sauces in the table including their in house chilli oil that is extra spicy! And it was soooooo good with every bite of food. This is my second time here and I think broth is so much better this time around- rich and flavorful. They told us that they continue to evolve it to make it better and better overtime. The noodles are made in house and are definitely a different texture than the many of the other places I have visited. It was a pleasant surprise. They have the usual veges from bean sprouts, culantro, lime, and Thai basil. The ambiance is nice and it has room for both large and small party sizes. Just a disclaimer, they do automatically add gratuity to all party sizes. There's only one other place that I am a regular at for pho and this will most likely be my other go to for when I am in the mood for Vietnamese cuisine. Came here on a cold evening on the brink of a cold to get some chicken pho to go. Reheated it at home and immediately knew I wanted to dine in. Luckily I was able to go a few days later and ordered a custom bowl with two proteins--brisket and meatball. Came out rather quickly so that was a big plus. A bit more garnishes than I would usually prefer in my pho but broth was pretty tasty. What I really enjoy are the homemade noodles. They are soft and chewy..perfect bite. I don't know if they are for everyone, but personally I loved it. Would definitely recommend a visit. A slightly more upscale pho restaurant than what we typically have on Colonial. Modern decor. Staff was friendly but could use a little more training but hey, that's what the soft opening is for. read more

Come hungry and leave stuffed, with bags of leftover containers. Pho Bar pho broth is the real deal. And it's all about the broth. The hints of cardamom and cloves that you usually don't get enough of when it's not your mom's cooking really add to the depth of flavor in their pho. Sure there are other dishes on the menu. They are tasty. But come for the pho. The establishment itself is very clean and cute. We had great service and cannot stop talking about that broth! read more

Wow, came upon this place while exploring this little cluster of Asian businesses. What a fantastic pho place of all pho places I have tasted!!! They freaking make their own pho noodles! How awesome and delicious is that?! That's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! The place is modern and trendy and the staff were good. We started off with some rocket shrimp and grilled mussels. Both appetizers were delicious and right off the stove. Then, we all ordered pho and opted for their handmade noodles. All of our pho arrived hot and steamy!!! Wowzers! That's the way it should beeeee! The broth was delicious and flavorful. The meats was decent amount. The pho noodles was excellent! It made me feel like I was eating my mom's homemade noodles that she makes for pho too! I almost had a tear drop. Lol We were all very pleased and satisfied with our meal here! Hands down I will be coming back! My top favorite pho place of all of what I've tried. Yo pho places, it's time to step it up in Denver!!! Though I still love Denver. Lol read more
I absolutely love coming to this restaurant for their noodle bowls and hangover soup. This time I got to try their steamed rice cakes and its my new favorite menu item!! Their green thai tea was good in flavor, but it was hard to share due to the crystal boba being at the very bottom, and it was a bit too sweet. Great portions and very nice atmosphere with bar. The large pho of brisket and eye round was just the right size for me. I needed a little more meat but noodles were plentiful. Quick service and server very attentive. Good pho flavor when you come in. The broth had a little sour taste. Not sure if it was a lemon taste originally but it was very different for me. There is parking behind the restaurant, which is super convenient. I ordered the chicken pho and my friend the flank and brisket. We tried a few.new menu items and loved them all. I noticed that their bar is now open, offering a selective range of cocktails, beers and wines. We liked the grilled mussels and steamed rice cakes, and of course, chicken wings, tamarind ribs, and crispy brussel sprouses were must have. I tried Bun Bo Hue, the spicy beef noodle soup. im usually really picky with pho places but pho bar's pho exceeded my expectations ^^ we got their pho dac biet, bun hue, and short rib pho, which all came out in huge portions. their noodles are so soft and the broth was delicious. the prices are also fair for the huge portions you get (even for just a regular size bowl) + their passion fruit drink was also so yummy. will definitely come back !! read more
Been here twice. First time it was decent - was hoping it was going to be better since the first time was closer to their grand opening. Unfortunately, the first time was WAYYY better than this time around. Walked in around 7:45 pm (on Tuesday) - they had a couple tables , nothing too crazy. Seated immediately and greeted immediately. We ordered the Thai ice tea, grilled mussels, pork chop rice plate, and pho dac biet. Nothing too crazy..but that's where all the fun begins. After the food was order, service just got slower and slower. There was one girl cleaning tables and running food - literally to all the tables! Maybe that's her job and maybe that's why 18% gratuity is automatically added to every check (unheard of) no matter the size of the party!!! I usually tip 20% but at least give me good service? Anyways... like I said service got super slow after food was order. Our app came out. I ate half of it before my drink even got to my table and the ice was already half melted when it did. Meaning it sat there waiting for her to bring it to our table ... all she said was "sorry for the wait" ... okay cool moving on. My pho was brought to the table, no garnish? Now if you been to ANY other viet restaurant and you order pho, they give you a plate of garnish before the pho hits the table! The girl cleaning the table came over trying to clear my after eaten app plate had to go get me my garnish plate.... That's after waiting 10 mins to find my waitress. So by the time I got my garnish it wasn't as hot. There's literally 7 tables in this building............ I don't understand why I have to search for my server. so the girl goes and finally makes the plate of garnish THEN the pork chop rice plate finally arrives to the table. Not sure what this restaurant is doing but most restaurant usually time their tickets so most/if not all the plates hit the table somewhat at the same time. The Pork chop was dry and the rice was hard and cold. As you can also see from the picture, if I'm going to pay 20$ for a bowl of pho, let's not be cheap on the meats. A couple pieces of meat and the rest is noodles is crazy. Waitress finally comes back to drop off the check then comes back 2 mins later to ask if we're ready to pay.... Wow! You came back so fast when it's time to pay huh... This is what happens when restaurants AUTOMATICALLY adds tips .. servers no longer work hard for their money. Overall these items are overpriced and aren't worth the money. Service was slow. Food was bland, dry , and hard. This viet restaurant is trying to fit in with the times by modernizing the way they go about things but it's a total miss . My suggestion is to Walk down the street and get better viet food with better pricing and a little better service . 2 stars for a decent appetizer. read more
Visited this place after a son's basketball game and didn't expect much as this was in Orlando and I'm from San Jose. I was wrong, this place had great service, clean and efficient. All the things most viet places in SJ are not. The portions were big and flavorful, if you dont believe me take a look at the thai tea. Mussels, pho, bun cha hanoi (obama) all very tasty. I've been a fan of pho bar since first discovering it on business trips down in South Florida. I was happy to see their expansion into the Orlando area. The prices are aligned with south Florida however the quality and service is not. My server was busy playing with his phone instead of actually working. Flavor of the food was ok but the pho broth was way oilier than most places. The gratuity is automatically applied - a regular pho with an order of three spring rolls came out to be $30. A little steep for what I received. Will not come back. read more

Great food, service and ambiance! Had the rolls, ribs and pho and all were so good and fresh. The ribs had a unique flavor and were saucy which I loved. Pho broth was savory. I loved the green Thai tea and how it wasn't as sweet as the regular Thai tea. Friendly and fast service. They also have tables outside. read more
Ordered delivery and food came fresh. I got the flank and brisket pho and it tasted pretty good to me! A normal size portion. I also ordered the honey garlic wings and those was the true star of the meal. It sucks that it costs $9 for just 4 pieces. Yet those pieces were cooked perfectly and the honey garlic they used was too delicious. I had wish I had more of them! I recommend to give them a try. read more

I wouldn't come back just because of the service. Food was good. The portions were the right size. Green Thai Tea was tasty and the Honey Sweet Tea can probably be passed on. Service was very slow and not friendly at all. Had to ask different waiters to get what we needed since our waitress wasn't attentive at all. Maybe this is part of their 18% automatic gratuity model. Ambiance was modern and like any other downtown spot you're close together. read more

Nice little spot with great food and service. The restaurant is nice and clean. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were happy. I had added a little too much chili to my pho and he offered to get me more broth to level it out a bit. I declined because I was enjoying the spice. But the thought and offer was so kind. I will definitely go back to try a few other things on the menu. read more
