I got the rare steak with brisket pho as well as a Thai tea with boba! (I added chili paste so that's why it looks like this haha )Everything was very very good! Very flavorful very tasty! Definitely made with love! Usually when I get pho I right away have to add salt or some kind of flavor to it because the flavor isn't quiet there but once I got my bowl from "Pho Big Bear" and took a good sip it was perfect! The broth was amazing and flavorful!!! Everything was great! They give you a generous amount of noodles too and the steak was mmm chefs kiss as well as the noodles of course! The only thing is I brought my mom and they gave us very little toppings the toppings is only enough for 1 but it's okay we just split it up lol I usually like a lot of toppings in mine but it's not the end of the world!!! But service was great and everyone was very nice and you can immediately tell everyone likes their job and gives you great customer satisfaction and service!! But the girl in the front taking orders seemed stressed out for some reason even though she just came in once we came in and she didn't seem like she wanted to be there but I mean everybody has there days soo no worries! But besides that I definitely recommend this place! 10/10 read more

Saw the good reviews on Facebook and Yelp so decided to give it a try since we love Pho. The restaurant location was hard to find at night and parking was limited / confusing. Once you arrived you were greeted by friendly staff. The restaurant is small, 2 tables for party of 4, a bar style table for a few more seats. Interior include white walls and not much decor. Similar to fast food style where you order and pay at the register and get your own can drinks or water. They do have a good selection of various drinks on display. As for the Pho, it was salty and didn't have much meat. There wasn't much bean sprouts either for the 4 of us. My daughter found a hair in her soup. It was much too short to be hers, so very gross. read more

My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised with how good this spot was. I think the reviews were very misleading about the food. The pho tasted amazing and so did the veggie dumplings. We also got a cute little bag for our take out. The service was great, very attentive and friendly!! Their drink selection is also amazing. Once the guy came out with the pho and said he spoke no english.. we knew it'd be good. Everything is SO flavorful, especially the pho! Ordering our food was easy. The girl taking our order was nice. We sat down and waited for our food. It came out and was given to another table that just sat down. Then we got our food. While eating we were given a Togo order that wasn't ours 3x. We kept telling them it wasn't ours only for it to be taken back and given to us again and again. And then our actual togo order we were waiting for wasn't coming to us. The manager or owner was yelling at the girls for getting several orders wrong which I don't blame her but she didn't make anything better but trying to help correct the orders. The food wasn't as expected. Crispy noodles tasted old. Pho meats weren't the typical ones you'd find in the usual pho. They said you get a lot of meat when you don't. Pad Thai is not really pad thai and was drenched in sauce. I know you can't get authentic Asian food in big bear but I definitely don't recommend. read more

No! My friends and I were desperate for soup or something hot to eat. We were so excited when we saw Pho! To our disappointment, it was no wear the authentic Vietnamese Pho. As for the restaurant itself, it's small. At least where we were. Supposedly there's dining upstairs. The gentleman, who I believe manages the restaurant, was pottery nice and hospitable. That's the only positive thing we can say. So no, we do not recommend this spot. read more

Absolutely terrible! I ordered the combo chow mien, took a couple of bites and actually gagged because the taste was awful....this food was inedible. I also ordered the egg rolls which were greasy not crunchy and was mush inside. Apparently, they have had a name change to Taste of Asia so I'm wondering if there are new owners. The reviews from the last 6 months all seem to be negative. I don't recommend this place and I will not eat there again. read more

I don't write reviews often but I had to about this place! It's inside the bear creek resort which had I not read in a review I'm not sure I would have ever found it haha. The staff are incredible, genuinely so friendly and accommodating and the food is so bomb! I can't wait to come back when it's colder after a long ski day and get this pho, it's genuinely so flavorful and they do not skimp out on the portions at all!! 10/10! read more

We came in around 5pm Wednesday to beat the dinner crowd. It's nice that there's upstairs seating because it's really cold outside and limited seating indoors downstairs. We ordered the combination pho and the crispy noodle combo with gravy. The pho wasn't hot and the soup was bland, we were pretty disappointed that it wasn't the soup that warmed our cold night. I'd say the crispy noodle dish was a lot better, or maybe it seems like fried noodles and fried rice dishes seem to do better here. They do get hit hard with online deliveries, it took us like 15 mins to get our food for dine in. read more

My spouse and I took a chance on trying this place as I was craving a comforting meal and this place did not disappoint! The environment is very cozy and authentic , felt like I was eating in someone's kitchen /home which for my personal taste makes the experience more enjoyable. They had convenient bathrooms outside and were pretty clean. The server was very friendly and the time we visited was during a rush hour and he gave us nothing less than great service ! The pricing was reasonable considering there's no other place that serves pho in this small town, however if there was another location I would still come back here . The pho had good flavor and the amount served was very filling . They also serve alcohol and have water available as self service which is nice considering this is a two story building so we can serve our self anytime . The environment was warm and comforting and our service was pretty fast ! When I asked the server for extra condiments they did not hesitate although they were the only one servicing and we were on the second floor . Very happy we took a chance on this place and would make this a go to place when we visit time and time again ! read more

The Pho is very tasty and the broth is homemade they even sell just the broth it's that good. Shrimp Spring Rolls are yummy and filling especially with their homemade peanut sauce. Combo beef shrimp chicken pad Thai has a nice flavor to it. Service is very friendly and welcoming. It's clean with an open atmosphere has seating downstairs and upstairs. When I saw 4 stars I thought--- great! All I wanted was clean simple veggies with noodles due to tummy issues. I ordered simple Veggie Pad Thai ... I just picked it up and it's awful; it's soggy in a sweet and sour sauce??? It weighed a pound of noodles. The veggies are overcooked (4 small broccoli and 3 pieces of carrot, barely cabbage and 2 small pieces of tofu) as well as the rice noodles that were clumped together. I've never not eaten food I've purchased. It's not like any Thai food that I've ever eaten. It's a bastardized version of Pad Thai. Sadly I had to write this. We also ordered fried egg rolls - most Thai places give you lettuce to wrap them, but they came by themselves on the plate. Taste was ok. The Pad Thai was too sweet and the noodles over-cooked. This place is so incredibly good. We went on a Friday night, in the snow, an hour before they closed and they were still 100% service and 100% delicious. Two of us had pho (veggie and a rare steak + brisket), one had a chow mein dish and the fourth person had orange chicken. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy just the way he liked it. The pho servings were massive portions. Everything hit the spot. It was the perfect warming meal for a cold night. They only had two tables so not great for large parties who want to eat onsite.
