This place is so incredibly good. We went on a Friday night, in the snow, an hour before they closed and they were still 100% service and 100% delicious. Two of us had pho (veggie and a rare steak + brisket), one had a chow mein dish and the fourth person had orange chicken. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy just the way he liked it. The pho servings were massive portions. Everything hit the spot. It was the perfect warming meal for a cold night. They only had two tables so not great for large parties who want to eat onsite. Just dined there and will never go back again. Ordered the rare steak and brisket pho, and combination crispy noodle. The noodle in the pho was not fully cooked and so had a very weird texture. The pho broth was nowhere near even an average pho broth out there. It did not have any proper flavor, all it tasted was salty probably due to msg. As for the crispy noodle, the portion was so little, for a price of $17.99. This place is trying to rip people off because they know they are the only pho place near its location. By the way, they charge 3% fee if you pay credit card. The total amount you pay includes this fee. The fee is stated on the screen of the card reading machine but the prints are made so small so that you will most likely totally miss it - a pathetic tactic. How to find it- Enter the parking lot of BEar Creek Resort, it is near the northwest corner of where the old event tent was. Keep driving around the parking lot, look for the colorful "open" signs Vegans eat here. Vegan Veggie Pho with vegan broth, veggie egg rolls, vegan pad Thai without the egg. The owner's mother in law is vegan. Everything was fabulous. They use seasonal veggies. The service is incredible. You can tell they care about the quality and your satisfaction. The food came out incredibly fast. We could not believe how quick the food came to the table. There are indoor and outdoor tables. There is a bathroom inside. My friends and I had a chance to try this place last night. The gal working there was really nice, very helpful and very sweet. The food was wonderful. I ordered the vegetable pho and added shrimp. And left out the noodles because I am low-carb right now. Oh my gosh was it ever so good and I will be eating that for a few days. It was such a big bowl one friend had the spicy orange chicken and another had the not so spicy orange chicken. It's nice that you have a choice and they both equally loved their dishes. I'm not sure of the meal the fourth friend in our party had but I know it had something to do with crispy noodles. He also said that was wonderful. The noodles were also too soft as if they had been sitting in the broth all day. My kids ordered the orange chicken where they were barely served any chicken. And they all said the white rice was hard. The pad Thai lacked flavor and was this weird off white color. Too add to it the guy that was bringing our food acted like he did not want to serve us or if we were bothering him. He never came back to our table. Never again. A waste of time and money. Yum! Such a pleasant surprise to find this tucked away gem on a cold and foggy day. It's very unassuming and I don't usually trust places that have too many mixed Asian food options but let me tell you... every single thing was exquisite! The chef was born in Vietnam but she lived in Thailand, China, Singapore, Indonesia and even studied French cuisine. She took the time to share her story and even showed us pictures of their fresh batch of pad Thai sauce making on her phone :) Everything is made from scratch and so delicious. The orange chicken was the crispiest I've ever had -- maybe even the best. Don't sleep on the pork buns even though they're so comforting I could sleep on them. Pho is also very good. It was flavorless and the Combo bowls despite our best efforts to add to it with the dirty add on's .....hot sauce, fish sauce, salt and pepper in the table didn't help.
