    Brisket, meatball, and tendon pho
    Cecilia L.

We were in the area and hubby was craving pho so we popped in here. Small little restaurant with 10 tables in plaza with LA Fitness. It was empty when we arrived but got busier as we got closer to dinner time. Hubby ordered Vietnamese coffee, shrimp spring roll and the brisket, meatball, & tendon pho. The coffee was rich, crazy, and delicious without being overly sweet. The spring roll had decent size shrimp pieces in it and was what you hope for when ordering spring rolls (especially with the peanut dipping sauce). The pho hit the spot. Excellent flavor on the broth. The noodles took a bit to come apart but they were good once they soaked in the broth. The meat was all cooked well and packed with flavor. He said he's sufficiently full and happy. I got the vegetarian spring roll and the vermicelli bowl with tofu. The bowl looked like it might be boring without any sauce with all the ingredients separated, but once I tossed it all together and drizzled the soy sauce on top it came to life. The tofu was perfectly cooked and tasty, and the combo of textures in the dish from the soft noodles to the crisp veggies gave it a great mouth feel. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal for sure. The staff was all friendly and the place was nice and clean and prices were reasonable. We would definitely come back next time we're in the area.

First thing first: bring cash will save you 3% in cc transaction fee. I think there's a small sign by the register, but I wasn't aware. Pho dac biet was "a solid 4" said my eating buddy, with lots of tendons, even though no tripes, and at a great price! I had the "grilled" chicken bun (noodles), and this was just ok(3 out of 5 stars) since the chicken didn't have the grilled flavor that I was looking for, tasted more like sautéed. Be sure to ask for mints to fully enjoy this dish.

Nice little cozy Vietnamese restaurant with good food and great customer service! We had Pho, Bun Bo Hue and Wings; all of which, we thoroughly enjoyed!

PHO BOWL LAVEEN! You can't go wrong with their rice dishes! My favorite is their grilled beef with rice and veggies. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is really mild which I love. I've ordered from them many times and they have been consistent with their dishes. Their competitor Pho Laveen is the other place I order from. Vietnamese food in Laveen is so good and worth it! If you are looking for Asian food other than Chinese or Thai, I recommend this place!

Love this mom and pop restaurant . This place is one of the few non fast food or chain restaurants in in the area. Also, one of my favorite lunch spots when time allows. Never have tried the pho because I have only been here during lunch but their other meals are so good. My favorite has been the house fried rice. You get a generous portion for a big serving. Their Vietnamese coffee is also very good. Food is also out right away which is helpful when you have a short lunch. Can't wait to try their other dishes.

Thought we'd give this local place a chance, but honestly it wasn't great. Service was slow even though they only had 3 tables (when we arrived we were the only table), and we ended up having to go to the counter and ask for our check after waiting over 20 minutes for someone to come around. Food was not worth the cost- all dishes were flavorless and lacked substantial vegetables/protein. We left feeling very unsatisfied and will not be back. Bummer because we really wanted to support local.

Wow this place was delicious! We just left the restaurant and I had to leave a review right away. We both had the chicken Pho and it was amazing, definitely hit the spot. The service was top notch. The server was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was super clean as well. Coming from California we had a hard time finding a good pho place and we finally found it with this place! Definitely recommend!!!

Their was a hair in my food and we weren't able to enjoy are food their times it's good but after this time they won't be getting my service again smh

Brand new spot to the area, 2nd location for the owner, and close to the freeway! Were there a couple of bumps in the beginning? Of course! Because they've been open for less than a week and they need a few more people. However, those bumps did not take away from the overall experience and taste of the food. Our table ordered two #9's one with shrimp, kids shared the chicken fried rice & I tried their Thai Tea Boba. We received our food HOT and had all the Fixings readily available! The broth was flavorful and the rice had a nice chicken & veggie to rice ratio. I enjoyed the Thai Tea, the boba not so much but my tastebuds may have been all over the place. Haha so I'll be trying the strawberry boba on our next trip in. Along with the appetizers! They were so busy they had run out when it was our time to order, crazy right!?

Best: the sesame balls - not too sweet, very soft, fresh, and flavorable! followed by the Meatballs and the chicken satay bowl - wow, flavorful, fresh, fantastic. Next: cha lua minh. Bread was fantastic. Beware the jalapeños- they are definitely small but mighty! (Put on side for couple things) Saved the coffee for the morning. We ordered it online - the pickup is interesting. Nice big parking lot, 3 picnic tables outside - very clean and nice. Clear signage. You walk into a tiny lobby - two electronic kiosks to order onsite if you want, and two little kiosks for order pickup. Held up my phone with the order # on it and it told us which bin had our order and it popped open. Nice woman behind a small counter window helped us very nicely as we were a bit confused about how to do the pickup. This little "lobby" is tiny - maybe room for 8 people total? Not sure how it would be during a busy time, but it's a quick and easy process. Overall, highly recommended! We will be back, if nothing else than for the sesame balls and some meatballs!

I ordered the lemongrass beef banh mi with the added pate. The bread is good and has a nice crunch on the outside, the beef had good flavor and they put a good amount in the sandwich and the pickled veggies were nice and crunchy! However where the sandwich was lacking was the pate, it had no flavor or salt whatsoever and just tasted like a thick flavorless paste in my sandwich. I'm not sure if it was a one off and it's usually better but if I were to get it again I definitely wouldn't get the added pate.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I'm excited to see the future of this establishment,

I used to always go for pork, but the lemongrass beef banh mi has completely won me over. The flavor is incredible, super fragrant, savory, and just hits perfectly. The pickled veggies are spot on too, adding that ideal balance and crunch. The peanut sauce deserves its own shoutout. It's better than anywhere else around here, kind of a blend of classic peanut with a hint of fish sauce flavor, which honestly feels like the best of both worlds. Only small downside: the teas are a bit pricey compared to other spots, even though they're just as good quality. Still tasty, just something to note. Overall though, the food keeps us coming back again and again. One day, I'll upload photos of if I remember. I wanted to just chill and take my time to eat, but the server never came back again for me to order another drink so I decided I should just get out then since they didn't want me there long it seemed let's start off with the food review tho my spring rolls tasted off like there was something a bit funky with them, as well as how to frozen texture on the inside and I was given the smallest amount of fish sauce I've ever seen every other place. I've been to is a huge amount or like a generous amount of that sauce dividend but I got like barely anything so I was like trying to scoop it at the end, but yeah, definitely funky tasting rolls. The pho itself consisted mostly of noodles and a decent amount of meat at least but with the combination, I felt like the tendon they just gave the biggest chunks possible, which were extremely hard to try to bite through unusual for me to come across I love tripe and tendon the most in the combos, the regular size is generously sized tho no need to pay extra for a larger size unless you're really hungry the flavor of the broth tasted good nothing special but it was a alright meal prob won't come back but I don't think it was entirely a waste of time
