    Seafood combination pho

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends. I had the Beef Brisket Pho, as always. The food tasted similar to Pho Phi in St. Matthew. My friend had the Seafood combination pho, which looked very tasty. I will choose this menu next time I come here. Our server was very friendly. The atmosphere inside was clean enough.

Wonderful Beef rib Bánh mì sandwich and combination Pho. Ingredients were fresh and the food was delivered to the table nice and hot. Service was also good, and quick. This place makes the best lunch time go-to if you're craving Vietnamese. Not much ambiance, but a great place to get your fill.

FOOD - Chef's Special Noodles: rice noodles with meat, eggs, carrots, celery, beans sprouts, and green onions in curry paste. I ordered mine with shrimp and without bean sprouts and green onions. I liked this dish. It reminded me of Singapore fried noodles which is one of my favorite noodle dishes. And it had a nice kick. The portion was big. 4/5 SERVICE: Service was fast and friendly. Our server checked on us a couple of times which I appreciated. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back. I enjoyed my noodles.

This place was very nice! We went early Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty, food and drinks came out quick and were delicious. Honestly the best fried rice I've had. Also loved the crispy dumplings.

When I visit Louisville, my boyfriend forgets where we have eaten so now we've come here a couple of times lol. Overall, it is pretty average for Vietnamese food. I am from California where we have a plethora of viet food. That said, I am considering how that is not the same here. As I mentioned, the food is pretty average - if you're looking for truly authentic viet food I feel like this isn't the place. The restaurant is pretty clean and the staff is very nice. It's not usually packed here so the service is extremely fast if you're looking for a quick sit down meal.

I ordered the Pho Do Bien and short ribs. It was hot and fresh. Full of different kinds of fish and had great spices and flavor. A lot of food for the price. The ribs had a good flavor also. A small portion but was fine. The Pho came with additional spices on the side so the level could be controlled which is great. I am always worried about food being too spicy.

This place is good. The pho is tasty a d the soup is complex, and there are plenty of accoutrements to jazz up the flavor even more. We also got the egg rolls which came out super hot so be careful you don't accidentally burn yourself and the dipping sauce didn't really have much flavor. But don't let that deter you from going to try some dishes there. I hear the shaking beef is really good, so I'm definitely gonna go back and try that!

We came for the second time and it was as good as the first! We got seated promptly and service was good. I had the Pho Ga which has chicken and it was delicious. It is a huge portion though! My Dad had the Shaking Beef and OMG it is by far one of the best dishes I've had in Louisville. I cannot wait to come back!

We ordered carry out so this review is only about the food! We got the summer rolls, the Chefs Special noodles, and the shaking beef. Overall the food was really good and we would order from here again but may try other menu options. The summer rolls had great flavor but were a little chewy which was different. The shaking beef was probably my favorite. It came with sauce that tasted like a mixture of yum yum sauce and French dressing. The chefs special noodles were definitely spicy but very flavorful. The portion was very large and we have leftovers.

Clean place. Great service. Wonderful aromas. Tastey pho. Talented chef. I was happy with my red curry, just spicy enough.

This could possibly be the best Pho broth in the city. Portions were generous and prices were fair. I honestly can't wait to go back.

    Is Pho Cafe closed?

    No, they are open again.

Does anyone know if this place delivers? I work nearby but I don't think I'll be able to leave the office ... and I have a SERIOUS Asian food craving going on :)

Per my waiter they deliver on foot and only a few blocks away from the resturant.

First impressions: very clean facility, very warm and welcoming owner (Trieck was his name) and his adorable daughter doing homework by the cash register. He very kindly explained how he understands that vegetarian pho does not have meat And that he has the Buddhist version of the pho that his mom eats. I ordered to go because I wanted to run next door to their grocery section. I love me a good Vietnamese grocery store and products from all over the world. Pho is typically eaten at the establishment to make sure that the fix-ins and the method of consumption is 10 on 10 aka it does not hold very well when transported. I was happy to find that they had done such a great job packaging all the fixings and the soup. Very generous portions. I proceeded with the taste test. I have learned from my Vietnamese friends that you never add condiments to your soup right off the bat. You must savor the soup the way it is the first couple times to truly get all the flavors in before you start adding stuff . This was excellently seasoned broth base. The base was just perfect to me. After creating the whole experience at home, I can say I truly did enjoy eating pho from here. Good vegetarian phos are hard to come by and I will definitely return to try their other delicacies. If I had a couple words of wisdom, I think the soup could use a few more pieces of vegetables and tofu. But overall, I throughly enjoyed my meal and will return.

Food was ok and the portions were too small for the cost. Ambiance is dated. Just disappointedread more

It was busy at lunchtime on a Friday. The cafe is so cute! Charmingly decorated. We ordered at the counter, took a table number and found our seats. One note about that: being a large person, the seats made me a little nervous. Next time i would opt for booth seating which looked a bit more substantial. Our entrees were brought out before our appetizers, but they looked so good I didn't even care. Couldn't wait to dig in. I had Pho Ga chicken noodle soup. It was served nice and hot with a bowl of raw herbs and add ins. Sprouts, fresh jalapeño slices, a lemon wedge etc. it was so delicious with complex flavors. I finished every drop. Appetizer was pork on a stick. Tender inside, crisp and sweet outside. Two skewers was plenty for us. My daughter had the lemon grass chicken with a fried egg. It looked great, she said it was very good. Our food was appealingly presented, and service was good. We each drank water and our bill was over $36. Not cheap for lunch but not outrageous and quality and portion sizes justified the cost. We will definitely return to try more menu items.

I tried their pork chop rice plate (com dac biet). It was very yummy. I really don't have any complaints about it. I also ordered a side of soup with mine, which was an additional $2. Their soup had a very nice flavor so I know I would've liked their pho had I had gotten it. The rice plate came with an egg, which was cooked perfectly. It was a nice crisp on the bottom and slightly runny on the top. The egg meatloaf was also pretty good. In all, I didn't have a bad experience. However, the both needs more seansonings (lemongrass, fish sauce, salt, sugar, hot pepper, shrimp paste). The broth was a bit bland to me. It's missing the pork hock.
