I'm Vietnamese, born and raised in Kansas, but I've always been passionate about my native country's food, culture, and history. I'm always eager to learn more and experience my heritage through cuisine. Thanks to my parents, who are native to Vietnam, I've gained a deep appreciation for our cultural values, knowledge, and traditions. While I've learned a lot about our food, I'm always excited to explore the skills and wisdom of our people firsthand. This is my fifth time visiting Ph Cali, and I love any of their broth bowls--the key to any great Vietnamese soup. If you love pho, definitely give this place a try! You can tell they put in the time and effort to let the broth develop rich flavor. And if you enjoy sandwiches, their Banh Mi is a must!

I love the ambience , the plants on the wall. the service was good as well. the food tasted great. I got the summer roll and it tasted great with the peanut sauce

I had a former date take me here. Excellent food. I let the person try Vietnamese coffee as that person never had it before. That person loved it. I enjoyed the pho and the Fried Wontons too. The Fried Wontons may've been a special- I'm not sure. I certainly wouldn't mind visiting again if I'm in the area. I saw a review or so say service seemed a bit abrupt socially but completed but that it's cultural. I get that sense myself too.

If I had to recommend one restaurant in Delaware, it would definitely be this one! You *have* to try it! The broth is rich and flavorful, the portions of meat are generous, and they have the most delicious homemade chili oil. If you're a fan of pho or you love spicy food, this spot is an absolute must-visit!

I always come here, it's always delicious. The pho, summer rolls, fried chicken. All are great. Plenty of sides with the pho, which is important. I see many Vietnamese families here which is a good indication of taste.

The food is okay. Service is very poor. The restroom is dirty. The owner stare at you while you're eating. I won't be coming here anymore.

Best pho in Delaware! So happy it's close to home, too. It's so nice to not have to drive up to Philadelphia when I'm craving good pho.

It's also BYOB, so if you're of legal drinking age, you can bring your own beer. This restaurant is located in the Fairfax Shopping Center right between Walgreens and Crab du Jour on Concord Pike, and there is plenty of free parking in the lot. When you walk in, you immediately know the place is authentic by the aroma of incense and the mini altars with daily offerings to Ông Địan and Thần Tài. The space itself is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating. The friendly staff attended to our needs right away, brought us water and menus, and took our orders. I ordered the Bún Đặc Biệt (house special vermicelli topped with a mix of grilled pork, shrimp, fresh herbs, and sliced chả giò), a bánh mì thịt heo nướng (grilled pork), a bánh mì thịt bò nướng (grilled beef), and a bánh mì chả lụa (pork meat loaf). My nephew ordered the Phở Tái Nạm Gầu (thinly sliced raw eye-round steak, well-done flank, and fatty brisket), while my wife ordered the Bún Chả Giò. The pho was amazing--authentic, savory, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The bun dishes were delicious and cool, hitting our appetites perfectly on a 90°+ day. What really makes the difference with vermicelli is having a great nước mắm sauce, and this place does it perfectly. And the bánh mì sandwiches--wow! Having great bread is the foundation, and this place absolutely hits the mark. The combination of the thinly sliced marinated meats topped with a crisp, tangy julienned mix of daikon and carrots, long cucumber sticks for a fresh crunch, bright cilantro, and fresh jalapeños for a spicy kick makes all the difference. It's what elevates it from an OK sandwich to a truly great one. We're definitely hitting this spot again whenever we're in town. Tip: When ordering sandwiches to go, let them know if you plan to eat them the same day or the next day and they'll separate the veggies for you so the baguette doesn't get soggy!

Pork was done to perfection and the roll and fresh/pickled veggies were crunchy and fresh and light and so yummy. Will absolutely be back for more banh mi and since a lot of their dishes have rice/ rice noodles my wife can eat there too as she is gluten intolerant.

While I thought it is fine for a neighborhood Vietnamese spot, it was not worth going out of the way to come here. We tried the bun bo hue (beef lemongrass pho) and a combo of beef pho and a pork hoagie. The lemongrass pho had pork feet, 4 small pieces of beef, and 3 slices of Vietnamese ham. Aside from the spice, the broth lacked depth. The hoagies were small and was mostly just bread with very little meat. In general, I found their portions to be small and the ratio of meat to stuff (noodles, bread, etc) is rather low. The combo portions are the same size as the kids portions. The server said that it is roughly 2/3 of the regular portion but I think it is less than that. On the plus side, I think they've done a good job of adapting their menu to appeal to people that are not familiar with Vietnamese food.

I would rather not go into detail why. The waiter was pleasant but was bilingual which is a plus. The food itself was so far from traditional Vietnamese food. I would say this place caters to people who have never tried Vietnamese food before. Would not take my grandmother here. Pho dac biet 4/10: The broth was mid. At least there was a fair amount of meat Bun Bo hue 6/10: The broth was good, a tad too spicy. I only mention the spiciness because it feels like more spice was added to hide the lack of flavor. Fair amount of meat Bun V box 2/10: I liked the idea of a small portion of everything. The only thing good about this box was the noodles. The summer roll and spring roll both lacked flavor. The dumplings and the sauce were sweet which was not a good thing.. Coconut juice -2/10: Really disappointed that the drink came with a spoon but no coconut meat. The waiter waited until we asked and then told us that they ran out of coconut meat. It felt really odd that he waited until AFTER I received the drink and took a sip. Iced Vietnamese coffee 1/10: Probably made from powder and water. The drip device wasn't there.. The coffee was filled with so much ice that the lid was popping off. I was really disappointed in this restaurant. I would not come back nor suggest this to friends.
