I came here on a Friday night based off a friend's recommendation. To me, the dinning area had a standard setup. A bunch of tables and a main counter. I was seated right away and given water without asking. I ordered a large combination pho with Vietnamese coffee. The broth was good, not too salty. The large pho was super huge with plenty of meat. The coffee was great! Strong and sweet just like I like it. Overall it was a good experience but this area has so many Vietnamese restaurants until there's a lot of competition.
Took my parents to PDL for lunch today. I ordered the medium (fatty) brisket and they ordered the combo bowls. What I like about PDL is their prices. A medium is $16 and a large (which is more like an ex large) is $17. You can get a full hearty bowl of soup for under 20 bucks. Definitely a great price. Only suggestion I would make is to make some renovations to the interior of the restaurant. I feel like it would definitely make the ambiance that much better. Otherwise, The service was fast, so, no complaints there.
Pho Dai Loi 3 is one of the three restaurants of its namesake except this one is in Duluth. This is a popular household name among people in Metro Atlanta who are interested in Vietnamese food. There are a lot of Vietnamese people who eat here, which should be telling about the food. This location, like the others, is a pretty casual restaurant. You are seated fairly quickly and the service is speedy. We got the Cha Gio, Pho Tai Gau, and Bun Bo Hue. The Cha Gio was thick and crispy. I enjoyed the filling inside, but it tasted pretty typical of egg rolls at a Vietnamese restaurant. The Bun Bo Hue was alright to me; I squeezed a lemon in there to add more flavor. I will say that they are generous with meat portions in the soup, although I wish this place (and other Vietnamese restaurants) would give more noodles in these soups because that is my favorite part! My boyfriend scarfed down the Pho Tai Gau, which had a good broth from what I remember. Overall, I think this is a classic place for anyone to check out if they are looking for a chill Vietnamese spot to eat at.
Food/Drink Pho Dac Biet is my go to and never fails to disappoint. Great portions and great flavors. My girl loves to get the Bun Bo Hue here. She says they give a lot of meat and the broth is pretty good. I like how they give the proper fixings for each dish. I've had some restaurants only give things for pho even though someone ordered bun bo hue. Their coconut drink is good. Service Service is great! Fast, accurate, and attentive. Food came all at the same time and the extra requests made were fulfilled - heated bean sprouts and raw meat on the side. Ambiance This place is very mellow and casual. Nothing fancy and very much a typical Vietnamese restaurant
Very bad service and very stingy with the food and drinks. Food is good and taste amazing, it's the PEOPLE that work there. They are very rude and make you feel rushed. Very today and ask for hot taro drink without boba and they brought frozen which wasn't a big deal, ask for a change, the server looked ticked off. She went, came back with boba in it when I had already told her twice "without", I left it alone and just gave it to my friend and asked for another one without Bobba. Finally she gives me what I asked for in a very nasty way... I finally got the to go check and asked for another one because the drink it's self taste good but this time around I ordered it without ice so it could be filled up to the top. TELL ME WHY SHE CAME OUT WITH IT HALF WAY FILLED BECAUSE I ORDERED WITHOUT ICE . I said something about it and they looked annoyed, they took it back, took her a while and brought it to me "filled" to the top. I did not drink it because you would know what that meant as soon as they took long on a 30 second drink.
As already a fan of Pho Dai Loi #2, I was excited to find out the #3 was just around the corner from where I already was! Got seated right away and had about 3 people come up to take the order within 5 minutes of sitting down, staff were on their toes like always. I got their bun bo hue which I loved! Usually I have a hard time finding a place that makes a balanced and full broth but I seemed to have found my match. There are lots of blood cubes, pork feet, and other unique cuts in the soup. Love the fresh vegetables on the side as toppings and thought the lemon wedges were unique since it's usually limes. Would love to come again for this quick service mom & pap shop for their casual and comfortable environment.
I was craving some Vietnamese food on my way to the airport so stopped by Pho Dai Loi 3. It's located on a plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant was pretty casual, low key with minimal decor. We were seated as soon as we walked in but the waitress asked if we were ready to order before we even looked at the menu. She came back with waters and asked us again if we were ready to order so I felt a bit rushed. My husband had the Vietnamese coffee. I was a bit confused that it came out with hot water in a styrofoam cup and a spoon. I've never poured hot directly into the cup of coffee which was what the waitress did when we asked what it was for. The fried shrimp came out fast, it was good but I wish it was more fragrant with black pepper. It came with sweet chili sauce which complimented it but wish it was fish sauce instead. My bun no hue was ok, flavor wasn't bold and it wasn't spicy, but came loaded with noodles and meats. My husband's chicken pho tasted sweet, with a nice light aroma. He said he liked the broth. No one checked in with us after we received our food. After waiting 15+ mins, we decided to walk up and pay. Overall, good meal but service and broth flavors could be improved.
Heard good things/ v good reviews on Yelp AND they have 3 restaurants in Atlanta so we were like ok must be OK (at worst) but uh.... the bahn mi was super soft (no crunch or chew) think like the bread from subway untoasted... the filling was super stingy (literally there was only pork in the middle) and WAY too much mayo the pho was ok - noodles were a little overcooked and broth was nothing special. The spot is renowned for pho and one of 3 locations in atl. The service is quick and the food arrives pretty efficiently after the order. No fuss spot that just feeds a hungry soul. The brisket pho was very good all round. The chicken however as a texture was not so good. They are very generous with the meat portion so come hungry.
Alright, I cannot believe how great this place was. Was craving pho since I'm in town for work and Pho Dai Loi did not disappoint. Pho Dac Biet - broth was not bad at all. I was expecting something not so great but man am I glad they proved me wrong. I'm also glad they provided chili oil on the side for you and it made the taste of the pho that much better. Service was fantastic. Our server was extremely kind and patient with the ordering. He was so friendly, it felt like I was his anh hai. Now the music... they were blasting some sick dubstep. Not my cup of tea at a pho restaurant but it was some sick dubstep nonetheless.

This place was rated #1 pho for this area so we decided to try. It was ok. The only thing was that we got our food fast but that was it. Other than that, we didn't get water refills or anything. We got combination pho...taste was alright for me. read more
It was OK :( I really wanted to like this place because I was really hungry and I was craving Vietnamese so bad, but I've definitely had better. I tried the Pho Dac Viet & the Bo Luc Lac (shaking beef). The Pho was ok. Unfortunately the broth wasn't as rich, and they could've put a little more meats on it, but the shaking beef was good. Service was ok, my server got kinda pushy then upset when I said I only wanted water. WTH? But service was fast and I was in and out of there which was the goal. There's a lot of parking spots since it is shared with other businesses, and the restaurant itself is very spacious/clean. It was raining and we wanted some pho. At 10am, they were pretty busy. We were seated after 5 mins and orders taken right away because we already knew what we wanted. The restrooms were not clean at all. Only 1 stall was available. Use to love this place. Their pho was pretty on point but this time I was very disappointed. Almost no flavor in the broth, like how I remembered it. The spring roll had lettuce, pork and shrimp. It was pretty dry and came apart after 1 bite. It was very messy to eat. read more

I loved the pho at Pho Dai Loi 2 branch but it was a bit too far from where I live so I decided to visit this place to see if there was any difference. The pho was just as good but the broth was definitely lighter here. If you want more flavorful, richer broth you should go to Pho Dai Loi 2. It's not that much different though and it still satisfied my pho cravings! read more

Not sure about the other items, because I can't try everything at once...my appetite is not that big. This is just for the Cơm tấm. As a Vietnamese, who ate this dish almost every day for breakfast growing up in Vietnam. Have made and tasted many versions in and out of the country. I feel pretty confident in my assessment of this dish. This is not good. 1/10 Everything was under seasoned. Meat was dry and lacking in both flavor and aroma. Egg/meat cake...the most iffy thing on the plate. I just knew from looking at it, that it wasn't going to be good. Also dry, bland, and aesthetically unpleasant to look at. I'm unsure as to why my over easy eggs were cooked all the way through. I would have preferred sunny side up for this dish. Pork skin was ok...this is usually on the under seasoned side anyways. BUT, why...is the pickled carrots and daikon BARELY pickled. Tasted like they soaked them in water and the tiniest hint of vinegar and a few specks of sugar. AND feast your eyes on the tiniest amount of oil scallions... or scallion oil... either way, that was all that they put on there. I would have to argue that scallions oil is one of main components of this dish. For some reason, they chose to include a tiny clump of it. It's barely there! At least they used actual broken rice and that's just hard to fuck up anyways. Unlike this one place I went to one time, that had the audacity to just use regular rice. Service was fine during the meal. However, The guy at the front counter basically was on his phone and ignored me for a while, when I came up to pay. Which I'm calling out because he glance up and over at me a couple times, but chose to continue with texting or whatever he was doing on his phone. I can't say that I will be back. Came here with some friends and they swear this is the best place to get pho and they're not wrong. I personally got the shrimp and pork vermicelli noodles and they gave so much protein. I also got to try some pho from my friends. Portion sizes were amazing and the leftovers lasted me another meal. Everything tasted delicious and the service was fast! read more

Whenever I'm in the area, I would stop by to try their bun Bo Hue. Food is good as always but this time their blood cake doesn't taste good at all. Not fresh but more like frozen kind. Service is really fast. read more

I find myself coming here A LOT whether it's with my friends, hubby, or coworkers. The place is pretty central for us, so that's probably why we always come here. I pretty much always get their pho. I haven't tried their other dishes.... lol. I figure with a restaurant with the name "pho" in it, their pho is legit. Service has always been great whenever I have visited. read more

This pho spot is located in a shopping plaza on Pleasant Hill rd. So there is ample parking. When you walk in your greeted 50% of the time. On this occasion and I wasn't greeted. Also the waiter tried to sit me on the opposite side of the dining room away from everyone and I spoke up to sit with others. Anyways I had an idea of the Pho I wanted based on reviews but I forgot the number. Sorry y'all. I placed an order for spring rolls and pho. Both were served promptly and were delicious. The table has all the condiments you need to add to your pho. They have music blasting the whole time your there but it's not to loud where you can think. It sets a vibe. The service is very quick and friendly. There's plenty of tables and it's good for family and friends met up. The food is alright, nothing special. The bun Bo hue was bland and not spicy. I was impressed by the pho here. The broth is light and clean and the dark meat chicken in the pho ga was tender and fatty. Portions are huge (we both got mediums and even that was a lot). I liked the interior- it was clean, spacious, and pretty modern. Would definitely come back! read more

I love the Bun Bo hue size small at Pho Dai Loi 3. It is flavorful and spicy! There veggies were fresh and you can put it on the soup. The jackfruit shake and dessert selection is plentiful. The ambience has a good number of seating! read more

As I mentioned in another post about the real BEEF STEW, this is it! Their food is never a disappointment!! They have all your favorite PHO ingredients that are as authentic as can be! The best part of this location is that even when you see that they are extremely busy( by how crowded the restaurant is with people they always find you a seat less then a minute after you walk in) talk about great service! The most impressive part is how fast your order comes out!!! I am a very impatient hungry guy, so when I tell you fast it's fast! The place has nice music that is not loud and annoying and the staff is extremely friendly they make you feel like a celebrity coming in. This is one place that you must try over and over again!!! read more
Local chain with a location in Duluth. Place seemed very open spaced and can accommodate larger groups. Purely food based review: XL Pho combo - Lives up to it's size. Large portions of meat, plenty of noodles, broth is a bit lighter but still savory. Spring Rolls - Good, about the same as spring rolls at any other Vietnamese restaurant. Beef Stew with Baguette - my personal highlight. Generous portions of meat, some fatty, some tender. Comes with a Baguette to dip in. read more

Very underrated Asian food, this place is truly a hidden gem. We got the rare rounded steak and flank pho and the vermicelli tofu salad and fresh spring rolls. They were both delicious and flavorful. Warm pho on a cold day was exactly what we were looking for. read more

We went here for Phở craving. We ordered to-go since everyone was under the weather. They only allow extra large for carryout but the portions were huge. If I have to compare to all the other restaurants, they $14 pho is at least triple the size of any other Pho one we have ever had. We will eat in next time and try their other dishes. Not the best pho in the world, and not the worst. I had to ask for the extra "fat" on the side to add to the broth to give it more of a pho taste. The broth taste test failed, broth was not rich in flavor, more bland than the broth at Pho Saigon. But the trick is to add the extra "fat" (see picture) to give it more flavorful. What do I like at pho dai loi is the abundant of basils, beansprouts, and especially culantro! Their herbs are always fresh! The rare steak was normal, but the meatball is old from taste and texture, not fresh at all. The taro smoothie is as good as any of their other location. My friend ordered the banh mi bo kho and said it is more "watery" compared to pho saigon. Overall, it is a mediocre lunch and there are better options out there for lunch. read more

Parents got the shrimp and pork fried appetizer and they loved it! Chicken pho was so flavorful and broth was spectacular. I ordered with white meat but I wa disappointed there were many chunks of dark meat which I had to put aside. Otherwise, very great service and food! read more
Still one of the top pho places in the area in my opinion but I was slightly disappointed as I felt like the original pho day lois pho was better. I ordered the exact same pho as well. I came with two others and they thought it was just okay. Ordered pho and then bun bo hue. read more

Ordered: luc lac ($13) + pho ($10) Ambience: casual/cafeteria fill. You will be seated at a table. Plenty servers available. They get your order, being the food out and you pay at the counter. Very casual but can be busy. Review: Luc Lac is my fave Vietnamese dish. The beef is so flavorful. I got the fried rice (which has a yellow hint of color). Honestly, this Lic Lac was good but my fave would still be Pho House. Pho however was really good. Meat quality was good and the broth was flavorful. Overall it's a good spot! read more

We've eaten here for years and personally a family favorite restaurant for pho. However, we will have to reconsider due to unsanitary conditions - a live roach was served in our fresh coconut juice! So use discretion and eat at your own will. read more
Pho dai loi branch #3 Located not far off Hwy 85 exit pleasant hill rd. This place has a pretty decent Vietnamese cuisine. I spoke with the manager / owner, according to him they make their broth from scratch and it takes several hours for them to make the soup from the bone, and they don't add any MSG to the broth. True or not? regardless it is still a very tasty broth. Alright so here is my review: 1. Food. I've been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants both east and west coast. In my opinion, this place is pretty decent. Me n my wife had: 1. Vermicelli with grilled shrimp and egg roll. 2. Com tam ( broken rice ) with grill pork chop, egg quiche, shredded pork skin, sunny side up. 2. service Service is fast and attentive. Not the friendliest service but it's fine. No complain. 3. venue Typical Vietnamese restaurant. A lot of table seating, most important it's pretty clean and comfortable. Parking is easy. 4. Price Pretty decent pricing. Range around $9.95-$12.95 for the main dish like pho and rice plate. Appetizer around $4ish. Not a bad place for lunch and dinner. As I know they don't have menu special for lunch. So it's the same both lunch and dinner. Overall it's recommended. read more
