They do not serve any rice dishes or egg roll but only pho and that was disappointing. The server stood next to us as soon as we sit down and did not give us any chance to read the menu. First time eating at pho danh at the 1960 location. I've eaten it many times in hk bellaire and and like it! I was so excited to eat here because there aren't many good pho places northwest. This place was very good all around. Super clean, pretty, and well designed for cheap and tasty food. The service was awesome, very nice, friendly and fast. The only thing that some people might not like about this place is that they ONLY sale pho and nothing else. Which wasn't a problem for me because that's the reason I went there. The pho is above average and one of the better places in Houston. The portions are more than adequate (see the picture of the large and small bowls) and the texture and flavor combinations in the "special" were wonderful. This is by far one of my favorite pho restaurants in the northwest Houston area because of two things 1) the customer service. We're always greeted and asked for drink orders/food orders in a timely fashion. 2) because the broth is always on point and most of all they load up your bowl with meats and meatballs. And this is a small detail to some, but they're veggies are always fresh, bright green and appealing. Sometimes you go to pho restaurants and it looks like they reuse the un-used mint leafs/cilantro uggggh. Big props to pho dahn here in the 1960/jones area. Now, only if you guys could stay open a bit later id probably dine in a lot more then often :) read more

Great pho! Way too many choices in my opinion. (3 pages of different soups). Clean, neat, and new. Inviting atmosphere. Fast, cheap, friendly service. No appetizers, which was very disappointing, otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Only thing on the menu is pho, so you better want soup and only soup if you go here. I've been coming here for about 4 years now sometimes multiple times a week. As someone who's tried almost every pho place in this area, this one is the best. The broth is very good and noodles usually always fresh almost never soggy. They do have some days where the pho is not as good but that only happens about 2 days of the week. This place only sell pho and noddles and it the best by far in this area. They have 3 locations in Houston and all 3 are busy all the time. They are so busy sometimes that they might run out of pho lol, that should be telling you something. The restroom are clean with high soap level, I just wished that they had napkins in the restroom to. I really don't like hand dryer bc you have the touch the door handle. Compared to Pho Thai Binh Duong and Pho Saigon (downtown), I hate this place because the amount of msg for being "guaranteed low msg" is still a crap ton. And they don't even offer egg rolls (shame!). Nevertheless, it's one of those go-to pho places because it's up north and my parents are like regulars here. The BEST Pho. Broth has a perfect balance, not overly sweet like some other places. Place is clean as can be and super fast. No muss, no fuss. This is a pho restaurant which is all they serve. No egg rolls or spring rolls or any of the other things your used to seeing at a Vietnamese restaurant, just pho. Pho done right. So don't come here asking for bahn-mi or egg rolls. My family and I are regulars at this chain. It is definitely one of our favorite pho spots - I even introduced my boyfriend here who is now hooked. The lower rating though is for the service which is disappointing at this location! There is rarely anyone to sit you down and if you finally get to the point of seating yourself they get to you at least 10-15 minutes later. had the pho here today, got the number 18 which came with pretty much all the cuts of meat... nothing to boast on about, it was a pretty decent pho. one thing i did not like about this place is the staff.. when i ordered the pho, none of the staff bothered to bring me a soup spoon.. it was disappointing espacially since i asked 3 times with 3 different staff member. i also ordered the coffee with condensed milk, and well as luck would have it.. they didn't add the condensed milk. i stirred the coffee just in case it was at the bottom but nope nothing. i probably wont be back at this place but if you want to try go ahead read more
