A handful of diners and a handful of to-go orders were ready as the workers were slowly wrapping up for the night. I shared a togarashi calamari, salt & pepper tofu, and pad see ew. The calamari had a unique flavor profile with the togarashi dipping sauce. I enjoyed the portion size of the calamari. The salt and pepper tofu had a light breading with a nice crunch. Lastly, the pad see ew was not my favorite. It kind of raised red flags when there is no question on how spicy the you want the noodles. The overall taste of the pad see ew was bland and chili oil didn't help the dish much. The restaurant was cute with a variety of different Asian dishes. The price tag was a little high for my preference. I might come back if I had friends that couldn't decide on a type of food or just wanted to share appetizers.

I asked about my food just before 7pm to which I was told it was still being worked on. I paid my tab then asked a short time later that I'd like the remaining food to go. At 7:15pm I went up to the register to request a refund for the items I never received. I was asked if I had paid my bill (by the same young lady that took my payment). I handed her my receipt & she informed me that my food had been ready. It's unclear why, it was never brought out. I had told her that we had been waiting for an extended period of time to which she agreed. I pointed out that another two person table, that arrived after us, had been served their food before us. The young lady plainly told me that it was out of her control since there were new people in the back. No apology just an excuse. No one took responsibility for the disorganization in the back. I again requested a refund only to hear that she didn't know how to do a refund. I'm the end, I was given the cash for the two items minus the taxes. I've been to this establishment in the past & never have I experienced this type of situation. Hopefully, it was just a one off because they have excellent food. For now, I have no desire to return

So much texture and the amount of umami they soak up from the juices of the stir fry is brain melting. Naan - They're definitely good, but these are.....sooooooooo dense and filling. As an analogy, if bread -- bagel, then Indian curry naan -- this naan. Honestly, these aren't my favorite, but I can't fault the taste or quality at all. Soup - Oh yeah, this was also perfect with the bread. At a glance, it reminds me a bit of pho broth, but you'll forget once the lamb flavor in it hits like a truck.

Interestingly, when I ordered noodles and asked for chopsticks, they told me they didn't have any. It was quite a surprise to find an Asian restaurant serving noodles without chopsticks. As for the food, it was fine, but nothing memorable for the price. I've had better Asian food elsewhere in Seattle for less. If you're after a stylish, brunch-aesthetic spot to try Asian-inspired dishes, Di Fiora fits the bill. But if you're going purely for the flavors, you may leave underwhelmed.
