I went here for my friend's birthday as a group of 8. The interior was cute, but there was some sort of event going on since there was a photographer going around and taking pictures of the tables. I will say the photographer created a bit of an uncomfortable experience as she came off a bit pushy and did not explain what the photos were for. She ended up coming back and wanting us to pose differently and retake them. We politely told her we weren't interested and she proceeded to come by and show us a printed photo of ours to sell. When we said no thanks, she continued to press and tell us to just take a photo of the photo with our phone lol. Besides the photographer, the food was pretty good. I ordered a khao soi, and it was my first time trying the dish. I am not sure I would come back, but it was a nice dining experience besides the photographer and the food was good. read more

Interestingly, when I ordered noodles and asked for chopsticks, they told me they didn't have any. It was quite a surprise to find an Asian restaurant serving noodles without chopsticks. As for the food, it was fine, but nothing memorable for the price. I've had better Asian food elsewhere in Seattle for less. Came here for a late night and parking was terrible as we took 45 minutes to look for parking, so I recommend ride share or walking. I think this place is more popular for their Asian fusion brunch (correct me if I'm wrong), but their dinner menu looked great too. Signature Carbonara (3/5): Pretty small portion and packed flavor. Crab Fried Rice (5/5); Topped with an omelette, it also comes with a side of sauce. I thought it was comforting and packed with the flavor of crab. The egg was very soft and easy to break. I have always wanted to try out the spot, and I'm finally glad that I got a chance to stop by the other night! It is a take on Thai with European influence, which they incorporate through ingredients in their dish. We came in on a weeknight and while it was still a little bit busy, there was still plenty of space. I tried the Pad Kee Mao and crispy chicken entrees, which were both good and felt like elevated Thai dishes with their quality ingredients and how the dish all came together. For the crispy chicken, I wish there was more chicken meat to complement the nice crispy layer. The ambience is great, very nice decorations with the florals everywhere which provided a nice uplifting feeling as you walked in. A great place for a special occasion or fun night out. Di Fiora truly lives up to its name as it's beautifully decorated with flowers and has soft, ambient lighting to set the mood. They have lots of colorful drink options and serve Asian-Italian fusion style dishes. The drinks and food were pretty decent, but not something I'm itching to try again for the price. Their dishes are relatively expensive for the size, even if you get their sharing or family style options. Their family style dishes are only big enough to feed 1-2 people, so you do need to order quite a bit to satisfy a group. With that though, definitely get family style dishes to try different foods instead of eating just your own meal. I'd recommend making a reservation, because it can get busy. Parking in this area can also be difficult, so keep that in mind if you're driving. In the end, if you're looking for a new Instagram pic or an atmospheric meal with friends, Di Fiora is the place to go. read more

This is such a cute little place, with its massive windows and lots LOTS of flowers, it is exceptionally pretty in the botanical sense but lets not forget why we're here, the FOOOOOOOD. I was pleasantly surprised, We started off with the Equality Drink which was fun to look at and very yummy, for food we got the Lava Scallop, Crab Fried Rice and the rack of lamb, I will say ask that your food comes together as I absolutely would have loved my scallops to come with the rice and get that yummy sauce with my rice as well. The decoration of this place reminded me a lot of Farmhouse Kitchen In California. The whole restaurant felt like it would be perfect for a baby shower or bridal shower location. We got a couple of dishes to share as a group. And we liked all of them. Of those, our favorites were the carb fried rice, crispy garlic chicken, carbonara. The calamari was good, the salmon tartare was delicious and left me wanting more, and the shrimp ceviche was absolutely outstanding--one of the best I've had (chef's kiss). For mains, we had the stir-fried cabbage (very nice), pumpkin curry salmon (great flavor combo), basil roasted duck, and the signature carbonara. While the mains were good, they didn't quite live up to how impressive the appetizers were--the duck was just okay, and the carbonara didn't really stand out. Let's set this scene...summer day in Capital Hill area, found parking - plus, walked to this restaurant and it's garage doors were open and you get hit with a explosion of pink flowers everywhere. It was so pretty. There was only one waiter on staff at the time and near empty restaurant. I think it was just about the time of the day that it was so empty. It did not reflect the quality of the meal or the staff or the ambience of the restaurant. The food was amazing. I was there with a group from work and we ordered a bunch of different dishes and we tried each other's food and every dish I tried was delicious. I took a picture of everything that I tried except for the curry. I didn't try that, but it was so pretty that I had to take a picture of it. I will definitely come back and try the brunch. Or even come back and try the meals. Everything was so delicious and served hot, which is really important for me. Please note, finding parking may be challenging so plan for that ahead of time. We ordered two dishes: the crab fried rice and the avocado curry duck. The fried rice was a bit too heavy on the butter, which made it feel greasy. The avocado curry--a green curry with chunks of avocado--actually worked well flavor-wise, and the duck was crispy and tender. While the food was decent, the price felt a bit steep--our bill came out to around $100 with tax and tip for just those two dishes. It's a nice spot for the ambiance, but definitely on the pricier side for what we got. The interior decor is beautiful, I love the florals, the greenery, the lights, mural, everything! For our drinks, we got a super immunity and mango sunset. Both were delicious. The cocktail was more on the sweeter side, which I didn't mind. For entrees, we got the carbonara, coconut soup, and chicken wings. The wings smelled soooo good and it was super crispy. The carbonara was loaded with seafood and definitely shareable portion between two people. The coconut soup is my standout dish of the night. We were impressed by the decor when walking in, very cutesy and Instagrammable if that's your vibe. My friends and I shared the crab fried rice, kow moo yang (grilled marinated pork), and the ka ree curry and it was the perfect amount of food for the three of us. Food: (4/5) Lychee Cosmo ($16): Such a pretty cocktail AND deceptively strong. Malaysian Coconut Soup ($16.95) + Seafood (+$7): This was my least favorite of the dishes. The broth was a bit too sweet for my taste, and for the $7 seafood add-on, I expected a bit more in terms of quantity. Crab Fried Rice ($28.95): Rich and decadent. The omelet topping was cooked perfectly and the crab was flavorful, although I do wish there had been a more generous portion. The green sauce served on the side was a bit of a mystery. I'm not sure it complemented the rest of the dish but I really enjoyed its flavor. It's official... My favorite restaurant in Seattle is Di Fiora. This is the BEST place to show off to anyone visiting Seattle. I have come here twice and the food was just as good as the last time. The decorations are beautiful and the service is very fast. While I love the flower decor, the real star of this restaurant is their commitment to using amazing fresh ingredients and creating such amazing flavors. I got the crab fried rice and it was so rich and buttery. Make sure to add the citrus sauce on top and it's perfect. We also got the pepper shrimp and it is such a yummy texture- probably the best shrimp I have ever had. I can not wait to be back to Di Fiora! We were confused by the European/Thai concept, not really sure what to expect. The food was all really good. The calamari was good but maybe not too special. I had the Spiced Manhattan, and I can share that I really enjoyed the drink. My friend had the purple rain, which was very refreshing, and pretty to look at. We decided that lunch would be a light fare to share amongst the three of us. We started with Moo Ping, pork skewers with spicy lime sauce. It was quite delicious, along with the Shrimp Ceviche. This was a hit amongst my group, it consisted of a fried wonton cup, filled with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, avocado, red onion, black tobiko and home made lime sauce. Bomb AF, I was mad that I had to share. We also had and I won't describe every single ingredient, the Vietnamese Crunchy Spring Rolls, and the Banda Sea Crispy Fish. The Banda didn't have a very pronounced flavor profile, but it was well cooked, and presented well. The staff at Di Fiora is top notch, super accommodating and attentive. I love the welcoming atmosphere they provide here. The aesthetics is in my opinion, fun, cheerful and Floral. It is such a cool vibe, you should check it out for yourself. I love this restaurant, street parking is a bit tight, but on Sunday it's free depending on availability. Updated review: nothing has changed as of getting 5 stars but the food, vibe, and service all deserve to get recognized! Me and my fiancé make it a habit to come here at least once a month. It is one of my favorite restaurants in seattle. Parking is hard, which is the only downside... but coming here makes it all worth it. Every time we come in, the lady in the front recognizes us and knows what we order from the moment we walk in which is the sweetest thing ever. This place is perfect for all occasions. Date night, birthdays, anniversaries.. all the food and drinks have been very consistent and good from the first time I've ever visited- which is probably going on 3 years now. The food here wasn't horrible, but each dish missed the mark in some important way, and I don't think it really justified the price or the opportunity cost for a dinner out in an area with so many good options (the place was almost completely empty at 6pm on a Saturday, which should have been the first warning sign). The Dihi Wings had a good tangy flavor, but were really hard to eat. All flats with very little meat on the bone, and there was no way to eat them without dumping crumbs everywhere. The Malaysian Coconut Soup tasted like a sweeter and less exciting version of Tom Kha Gai, with big raw whole mushrooms floating in it. I did like the snow fungus, but the thinly sliced meat at the bottom wasn't identifiable to me as chicken or pork (we ordered chicken). The carbonara would have been the best dish if it wasn't underseasoned. I know this can be a personal preference thing, but compared to the other two dishes we got it was noticeably lacking salt. The quality of the ingredients in it all seemed high quality, though. I did like the music: excellent lowkey relaxed pop covers, but based on the quality of the food I don't think it's worth coming back. read more
