We were vacationing and wanting Vietnamese food for dinner. From the outside, the place appears to have previously been a convenient store. Upon entering, the decors and furniture are a bit outdated. We were greeted and seated by a gentleman. He left and came back about 2 minutes later to take our orders. We didn't even have a chance to look over the menu and decided on our choices! I felt quite rushed and he was unfriendly. Most people in our group ordered Pho. As for us, we got the fried dumplings (A13), chicken Pho kids (P12), bun tom thit heo cha gio (V2), bun bo hue (P10), ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) and che 3 mau (sweet rainbow) for dessert. The dumplings are pretty much premade from one of those mass-produced packages. I've had plenty and could tell it was not homemade. The Pho broth was really sweet for my liking, tasted just like hu tieu broth (which is another Vietnamse soup dish). Kids pho doesn't come with cilantro and green onions. The bun tom thit heo cha gio was okay, but the fish sauce lacked a bit of flavor. It felt as though they used the same broth for Pho, Hu Tieu for bun bo hue. They only add the spices (lemongrass and chilli oil) to change up the flavor. The bun bo hue noodles were all broken up into chunks and really soggy, a sign of overcooked! The coffee was really good because they used Cafe du Monde. Now come the dessert! It was horrible! They used the same base for che 3 mau as che Thai. The dessert missed a lot of key components. It was mainly "bean", mung bean, red bean and white bean. There's nothing che ba mau about it. If we're visiting the area again, we might just come for the coffee lol. read more

Food is excellent. The wait staff are most likely the owners children. The young man never even gets the water/beverage/drink right and has a terrible attitude. To top it, he is very rude and acts like he's doing a huge favour. He's Very lazy too. The young lady is better but also has quite an attitude. I didn't eat it. 6)I went hungry because I will just drink water if the food is not edible to me 7) I was really looking forward to Vietnamese food but didn't have the experience I was after 8) Stomach is still growling 9) They took the dinner off my tab because they knew it was bad 10) Have some pride in what you serve. For legitimate good pho, go to Niceville. it is well worth the drive. Pho Nguyen has the best PHO. best broth, you can taste the beef and bone have been cooked a long time. the meat they put in melts in your mouth, and the portion size is great. I clicked on delivery and door dash came up. I ordered 2 different entrees but when I authorized the order showed two of the same thing. I immediately tried to edit but it is not possible on door dash. I I tried to cancel but website showed Only Delivery refundable. I would have lost 33.00!!! I called Pho Ava. They advised they could not change the order. I even told the. To keep the difference in price since it would have been less. The person was not understanding or helpful!!! Update: Gave this place a second chance because my son wanted to check it out. So glad we did. The waitress on my initial visit is no longer there. The staff was VERY friendly and attentive. As in the initial visit, the food was very delicious. My son loved his Pho broth and I even got him to try it with the peppers. I ordered the grilled pork broken rice. Soooo good. First visit: Came here with my family. The dining area looks clean and modern. We ordered the Pho Eva, Flank Steak Pho and the Seafood Combo Pho. So good. The broth was rich and full-bodied. I did wish they would have trimmed off the bean sprouts. We also ordered some boba teas. Although the teas were good, the centers of the tapioca balls were still hard. Maybe a few more minutes of boiling time would have helped. My only real complaint was that our waitress showed up at our table only a few minutes after we got our food, left the check on the table and then left. She left. Like, left the building, left. Bye-bye. We weren't even halfway through eating our meal and she was gone. What kind of service is that? The shrimp wasn't deveined and still had the tails on and the broth was just bland and flavorless. There is a sauce that came with one of the rice dishes that smelled and tasted like and I quote "like ****". It was easily one of the worst sauces or broths that we have ever had. Pho eve gonna eat here! The staff is friendly and place is clean. I'm so happy this place opened in FWB. We were driving to Pensacola to get our sandwich fix. So thumbs up to this place. So far it's the best pho base I've had in Florida from the few options on the panhandle that I've tried. The broth itself was VERY flavorful compared to what we've had. The summer roll was as good as anything else I've had. The interior is very nice with some uplifting pop music(a nice change over some of the other places). My only concern is I'm not sure if the vegetable soups are supposed to have tofu or not but neither of ours came with any. We didn't ask so I'm not going to knock them on this but usually vegetable pho comes with tofu but this one didn't. read more
