Service was fast and to go order was received within 5 minutes. Parking is difficult and limited but if you are getting to go you should be fine to pop in order and head out within 5-10 minutes. Restaurant is small and family owned. We ordered the Pho Ga and went with boneless instead of bone in. The pho itself was warm, light, and tasty, they provide you with ginger to dip the chicken in and adds more to the flavoring. The chicken breast was juicy. Overall the meal hearty filling and tasty. From the wonderful texture of the rice noodles to the freshness of the chicken to the clear and flavorful broth: this is a delicious pho ga (chicken noodle soup). You can choose between bone-less or bone-in chicken. I went with bone-in; just be cautious of tiny bone fragments while slurping the soup, if any. Also, the containers of ginger garlic paste and spicy soy sauce on the side are supposed to be mixed (or not) as a dipping sauce for the chicken. With regards to the chicken broth, since it tasted more complex than just a regular housemade chicken stock, I had to ask if there was any seafood in the broth, bc it had a smoky hint of something seafood-y (not fishy). I really enjoy this place when I feel like having some pure chicken broth soup when I'm feeling a little under the weather. Their chicken pho is clean tasting without all the added stuff that intensify soups unnaturally. The regular size is enough for an adult, the large size probably more for hungry men but to me it was overkill and had to take 25% home which is not as good after since the noodles tend to absorb the soup and get mushy. ****Bone-in chicken or no bone?*** I've had both in separate visits and I'm gonna have to go with NO BONE. It will be more of the lean parts of the chicken but that just makes it healthier for me. The bone in sometimes looks pink and it's edible with occasional oozing gelatinous stuff and I am not thrilled about taking out small pieces of splintered femur out of my mouth. It is though, more of the dark meat side. Your preference! The egg rolls are legit too. Super fresh but be careful, I burned myself because I couldn't contain myself! They make the best chicken soup in the greater LA area. Hence, they get a 5 star. What makes their soup great? The right amount of natural-tasting chicken flavor in the soup. I suspect also use the right amount of different body parts of the chicken (plus bones) to give it the chicken profile needed in the soup. Next, the soup is clean and well-balanced, with enough aromatics and saltiness to complement the overall taste without compromising the prominent flavor of the chicken. The best dishes are chicken pho, banh cuon, and papaya salad. Sadly, their rice dishes, like pork chop rice plates and chicken rice, aren't as good as those mentioned earlier. I don't quite understand the high review of this restaurant. It's 3 stars at best. Compared to other chicken pho restaurants like Bach Ninh, the dish is inferior here. The chicken was tender and the broth was clear, but that was it. The chicken had lots of bones and I found bone fragments in the soup. There's nothing like pieces of sharp chicken bones in broth. The bowl is small and not filling at all. I came with my sister, and she ordered the beef noodle soup. She had pho tai nam, which usually means it has rare beef. Here, they put a piece of brisket in it. Kind of weird. With the small tight parking lot, you're right up against other cars. I got dinged here. Came here on a Saturday for lunch and service was good. Server was attentive, quick and friendly. Menu is limited so it didn't take me long to decide what I wanted. I ordered the boneless chicken pho which you can also opted for bone-in. Looks like you can also pick your pho noodles but i just opted for the regular medium size pho noodles which is thicker rice noodles than your usual pho and is softer. The chicken pho tasted a little bland for me which I dont ever opt for chicken pho but today I wanted to eat a little healthier. I also ordered the banh cuon togo which was phenomenal. Typical pho ga joint, small. Broth was fine, not the best but definitely not bad. You can choose bone-in vs boneless chicken in the pho ga. You get a choice of noodles too, which I appreciate. I prefer thin Hu Tieu as opposed to the wider one and they had it, which is great. Sadly, they overcooked it and it was mushy. They are light on herbs too which is disappointing. Disappointing they didnt serve the chicken organs or the egg so commonly associated with Pho Ga. Papaya salad was pretty good, a little light on the meat. I like my papaya shredded into thin matchsticks e.g. with a Mandolin but looks like they used a box grater or similar, so the texture was a little different. Its in a little strip mall with parking. spots can be a little tight if its busy. Theres plenty of street parking. Service was good, attentive. Their water cup had a faint taste of soap. Overall, its fine, nothing spectacular. This is one of the best Pho Ga (chicken pho) restaurants in the 626. We got a large Pho Ga and the banh cuon. The pho ga broth is light but was very flavorful and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Due to COVID safety I ordered my meal for takeout but if you wish to dine at the restaurant it is possible. I placed my order over the phone and was ready by the time I arrived. Staff was very nice. I tried the banh cuon, pho ga and hainan chicken rice. I was a bit blown away by the pho ga soup. Clean yet great tasting. I loved it! They do ask if you want the chicken bone in or boneless. For the soup I tried bone-in but I think next time I would order boneless...just easier to eat. The hainan chicken rice also very good. I really like their ginger sauce. This is a great chicken spot! Only part that may be difficult is the parking. They are located in a plaza with a small lot and lots and lots of customers especially during mealtime. My friend liked the chicken inners, I could tell it was well executed, but wasn't my cup of tea. But just because it's not my cup of tea doesn't mean it's not good. The banh cuon here is SO GOOD. What's different is that they put carrots and I think, potatoes in it, so it lends a hint of sweet and savory. It's really comforting. The wrapper is thin and the ratio of filling to wrapper is satisfying! My husband got the pho ga and I took his raw bean sprouts and stir fried it with a little salt and added it to the bean sprouts that were a part of my banh cuon meal. The pho ga broth is DELICIOUS. This is a small restaurant, everyone working there was super nice to us, even refilled our pho broth that the noodles absorbed. I can't believe I have not tried this place before, shame on me, that's why I am writing to say this restaurant is very tasty, fresh, organic chicken, super fresh, and healthy. Papaya Salad- I give it a 10, best papaya salad ever had. Hainam Chicken Rice- I can tell the chicken is organic, the broth rice is to die for. I love the minced ginger supplied on the table for guest to use. Pho Ga District is located in a small mini mall with very limited parking. When we arrived at 1:00 pm on a Wednesday afternoon there weren't any parking spaces. Inside was equally small but ample. Overall service was good however we couldn't say the same about the food. We ordered the Hai Nam Chicken rice with boneless white meat. There wasn't anything special about the dish. The chicken was tender but limited. The ginger sauce which they have in condiment containers was watery and had a sweet taste which we weren't fond of. We had to add some soy sauce in order to give it some extra flavor. We've definitely had better Hai Nam chicken and this was a huge disappointment. read more

I personally liked Pho Ga Bac-Ninh chicken and the sauce more but I thought the Pho Ga District had a little more taste to it in terms of the broth. So technically it was about even. Probably seating no more than 20 at various two and four top tables, There is a television on the wall if you care to stare at it, but it's a place that you come for the food and not because of the ambience. It's in a corner location in a fairly busy strip mall and typical for the area. the parking is hard to come by at peak hours. You can always try your luck on the streets nearby. If you love hainam chicken dish & pho in general...pho ga (Ga means chicken in Vietnamese) district is for you. Met here for a brunch/late date on a Sunday afternoon and was pretty amazed at how good the chicken tasted. My date ordered for us half a chicken, two small bowls of pho that was plenty, and one of their papaya salad dishes. The salad has pre-made dressing and we decided later that dressing on the side might be better for next time. Their Vietnamese ice coffee was on the spot...they have a fish sauce ginger mix that you can ask for that is also very good. Please note that the parking lot is very small so it may be difficult to park.
