The food was good and pretty standard for pho, but the reason why I am writing a three star is it because I feel like the restaurant wasn't as clean. I took a picture of the table because it wasn't set properly and the items on the table weren't clean and sticky. I was seated immediately when I came in and it only took about 10 minutes for me to get my food. The server that was working with me literally came over to my table to take my order, bring me my food, and then bring me my check. So it was there anything that was outstanding. Ambiance: fairly generic Vietnamese restaurant tucked in the back of a shopping complex. The chairs are comfy and the service is OK. It seems the place is family run and while they don't go above and beyond by any means, they took orders readily and kept food coming out at a steady pace despite us coming during the tail end of a dinner rush. Food: We started with the spring rolls which were good, the packing of the noodles was a little loose but they weren't too skimpy on the shrimp and the peanut sauce wasn't excessively sweet. I had the broken rice with pork was pretty solid for Temecula. The pork was flavorful and not too dry. It was also served with shaved pork skin and steamed meatloaf which can be hard to find at smaller restaurants. The fish sauce was a little mild but they do have fish sauce in a dispenser on the table which was a nice touch. My wife had the pho which tasted just a smidge thin/watered down but overall we were satisfied with our meals and the portions were filling. This place is a solid option for those in Temecula/Murrieta but don't expect it to beat the truly excellent places in San Diego. read more

We had take out, and this place had glowing reviews but growing up in Orange County near fountain valley, I think our taste for Vietnamese food just makes us picky for what we consider to be the best. We had small portions for toppings (bean sprouts, basil, limes) for the pho- we would have liked more basil, and jalapeños. The meat wasn't the best, especially in the spring rolls. We couldn't even finish them since they tasted terrible. I would give this place another shot since maybe take out wasn't the best that day but overall wasn't a winning experience. read more

After a long day of working, I was looking for a satisfying comfort food. I saw this restaurant at Yelp and was a little hesitant as it only has an average positive score. I ordered the pho with tendon, tripe, etc. It came with a generous amount of mint leaves, chili, and beansprouts. The soup was just right. I also had grilled scallops, and they were delicious! The waiter is fast and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised when I asked if I could have additional broth to bring home, The waiter gave me a large container. Oh man, I really liked this place! I recently moved in Temecula, so I was looking for pho places. I seen that there was a Pho Ha location here so I had to go try it out! It was good! I enjoyed their pho, so I got some for my family, and they enjoyed it! Things changed when I decided to order them for dinner this week for my friend and I. Boy was I disappointed. The pho broth was super bland, just tasted like water. I don't know if it's because I ordered later at night or something, but it was not good at all. This is sad because I had such great experience the first couple of times. The inconsistency makes me not want to go back. Maybe it was a bad day? Best place in murrieta to get Vietnamese food. The pho's broth is flavorful, the meat is beautifully prepared, the veggies are fresh! The staff is super helpful in deciding on what to eat. Im not a huge pho person, but it still hits the spot for me whenever I do crave pho. The rice plates have the juiciest and most flavorful meats. I will say though that my last rice plate came with an egg that definitey still had clear egg whites, might've been a fluke but I don't eat eggs unless they are over easy so it wasn't a problem to push the egg aside. read more

First time here, 2/13 - My party of 4 walked in at 4:15, instantly sat down, ordered within 5 minutes & waited FOURTY FIVE minutes for our food to be brought out and NOTHING. 5 parties were sat after us and they all received their food. We love #53! Came here 2 times in a row!! And brought my mom who is from Thailand to try it too. The short man who took our order was extremely nice. I think he might be the manager or the owner. The girls can seem a little bitchy. We definitely will be coming back again. I highly recommend this place. Hope you guys like it as much as we did. The perfect hangover cure! My girlfriend and I visit Temecula from time to time in order to get away from L.A. madness. However, we usually have Cuban or American food when we're in the area. Last night we go pretty wasted and needed something to bring us back to life. I found this pho spot less than 2 miles from where we stayed, and let me tell you, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I ordered the Pho Tai (rare steak) and my gf ordered pho with rare steak and brisket. The broth and meat is what makes or breaks a pho soup--and this one dominated in both categories. We also ordered the shrimp spring rolls which were pretty good too. On top of the amazing food, the staff is extremely kind. Our waiter was very attentive and kept smiling (makes restaurant experiences better), and the guy at the cash register was super nice! Unfortunately, it has been a long time since my last visit here and it was not as good as I remember. The restaurant was dirty with fingerprints all over the doors as you walked in and dust and debris all over the floor. There was sauce on the wall and menus as well. We moved to Temecula from San Diego in May 2022 and we told ourselves we have to find a local Pho restaurant we can rely on when it comes to consistency and quality. Pho Ha #1 made that happen. We did try a few pho's in the area but it just didn't feel like home. But when we tried Pho Ha, we finally felt home that we even came back almost once a month after that. It's just that good. Their pho portions are big enough for two meals and the broth was really good. The tofu spring rolls were pretty decent. Service was great, they checked on me a lot and offered to box up my pho for me. I went today and ordered the BBQ Vermicelli noodles and shrimp spring rolls. The BBQ beef is amazing! Excellent seasoning and cooked just right. The vermicelli portion was a lot more than I thought it was going to be, so that was a plus. The shrimp spring rolls were pretty tiny. They have a great selection of house specialties as well, pictured the coconut snails. I should have checked for one of my favorites bahn xeo. Anyway service lacks a bit but I feel it's a true family run business so a bit expected. The pho broth is very good and even something as simple as their bbq chicken was so smokey and had such a good marinade. I ended up eating my kids food it was so good. This is the first time at this location but we have been to many of the other locations. I ordered the Pho #1 and my wife ordered #61 Beef Stir fry. It's quite but it's only 4:30 pm. I am sure later around dinner time it will get busy. There is a lot of take out and delivery still but that will change. A bowl of hot broth with assorted meat and noodles and then you add the bean sprouts, mint, chili. It will fill you up and it's freshly made. I have never been given a bad bowl so I would say go out and order one that you would like. read more

The best pho in the area for sure. We've tried a couple other places and they just don't compare. I also add a bowl of vegetables and they're fresh and delicious. We came here last night and holy moly the prices have skyrocketed! All the appetizers are $10.75+ like spring rolls, egg rolls etc. they used to be couple dollars less the last time we were here. The Pho is also several dollars more than the last time. I understand they have to raise prices but everyone was hurting, so it's disappointing they went up soo much. Service is just eh. You have to try and flag someone down for drink refill, other than that, they take your order, bring your soup and your bill and that's about it. Mediocre and lacking traditional Vietnamese aromatic, spicy, pungent, combinations of fresh flavors and textures. I placed an order around 7 PM for carry out. I had 2 pork Bahn Mi, an order of fresh spring rolls, and Vermicelli with beef, and egg roll added. The Bahn mi sandwiches leave little to be desired. The meat in the sandwich was plentiful and cooked well but the seasoning was not memorable. The daikon radish and pickled carrots on the sandwich were overly sweet and without any of the spices or vinegar and pepper. The sandwich was dry, and had no jalapeño or chilli peppers and no fragrant herbs. Owner remade for me and it was much better. Thank you. Hands down the best pho in town!! My wife and I have been coming here for about 2 years and it's the best pho we've had in the area. We tried exploring other pho restaurants but nothing compared to Pho Ha. We always get their rare steak pho and their egg rolls and the flavor is always on point. They also have the best Thai tea we've ever had.
