This was my third visit and I went out of my way to come back, but unfortunately I tried something new that I did not end up liking. I ordered the pork vermicelli and found the pork to be overly sweet. It had a saucy texture and I am used to Vietnamese food where the pork is marinated, flame broiled, chopped, and served on top of the vermicelli. This seemed different, almost like it might have been stir fried or just reheated rather than grilled, and I did not enjoy the flavor at all. The dish came with a generous portion of vermicelli noodles, lettuce, a small amount of bean sprouts, and a small amount of chopped peanuts. I wish I had not mixed the peanuts in because I did not like the flavor and it affected the dish overall. I also missed having cucumber, and it could have used a bit more carrot for balance. I would not order this dish again. Service was good as before and the atmosphere is lively, and I do like the place overall, but I would only return for the soup. read more

This is one of my favorite pho places in the South Bay region. Their broth is so flavorful and delicious. It hits the spot when you're craving pho on a cold day. I haven't had anything but beef pho here, but it hits so fine every time. Service is good and this place is always bustling with people. I think crowds truly love it here. They also have boba. The broth from their pho provides stamina and comfort when someone is under the weather. What's more, the courteous staff make us feel welcome every time, and the year around Christmas tree and interesting memorabilia inside of the restaurant provide a cozy and uplifting atmosphere. We especially like their #1 Combo Pho. The clear beef based broth is super savory, the thin rice noodles are perfectly cooked and al dente, the beef and tendon pieces are fresh and tender, and the sliced peppers provide the dab of spiciness. If you want more zing, all you need is a couple drops of squeezed lime or sriracha sauce. Their spring and egg roll combo is also one of our favorites. The spring roll wraps have a nice bouncy texture and the fillings of shrimp and veggies are always fresh with a nice hint of mint. Their egg rolls are perfectly fried and crispy. Wrapping each roll around with the lettuce leaf and dipping it into the fish or hoisin sauces is such a delectable experience. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. My girlfriend and I have been coming to this place since 2018, and it was our regular spot until we moved in 2021. Since then, we have tried so many different spots. To this day, we haven't found another place like it. The spot is nice, comfy, and welcoming. Moreover, the staff are extremely kind and still remember us after so long! I seem to be on a streak of places with fascinating decor and welcoming service, but food that I did not enjoy. The restaurant has a plethora of interesting vintage pieces. There are also a couple of outdoor tables. It seems quite clean and servers mask. Even the music is vintage --think Pat Boone and the 1950s. Unfortunately, to me, that music is extremely depressing and I should have asked to sit outdoors. The food was a major disappointment. It started off well enough with some ok rice and bean sprout and cabbage kimchi banchan. The restaurant serves Korean and Vietnamese dishes. My supposedly medium or spicy soon tofu stew was a watery mess of onions, some tofu that tasted off, one fresh mussel, a few bits of tasteless seafood, and something else I could not identify . I tried, but couldn't eat it. My husband's everything pho came with fresh basil and jalapeño slices. He didn't like it, but was able to eat it. First time eating there, and we got seated pretty quickly. It took a while to place our order, but once it was in, it was about 5 minutes before we started seeing the appetizers and the rest of the food come in. It's a super cute place, and they even have a Dodgers shrine and a bunch of vinyl records. Let's move on to the food. As we were eating our terribly salty pho (I will need to dilute this with a lot of water tonight), the man I believe to be the manager or owner started to offer guests leaving donuts that he got for free from next door's Yellow Vase. When we left, we didn't get offered any or get a friendly goodbye or thank you like all the other guests. Call me paranoid or whatever, but it seemed off. Anyway, I think sometimes not everyone is gonna like you, but sometimes I can't help but think it's racism. Everyone who got friendly goodbyes was Asian or white. My husband and I are a mix of Mexican and Black Caribbean, so I wonder. This is my favorite place I always get the rare steak pho and no other place I've tried has the quality of meat they have. So comforting and delicious with fresh veggies and sides always and really good broth. I have been coming for years and will always choose this place over all of the others I have tried. I've been coming to Pho Hana since 2014 back when I was a freshman in high school. I would always get their Thai tea boba before going to the library to study after school. I just visited again with my family and it still feels like home. The pho is comforting, filling, and delicious. And the boba is still fantastic! The interior is cozy and nostalgic: there's a shelf full of records and so many little cabinets and shelves full of collectibles. It's like being in a time capsule. I've been here many times for Chicken Pho and Egg Rolls, and things were usually fine. But today was honestly terrible. The chicken in my pho was so tough and dry, and the egg rolls were literally dripping with grease. There was a pool of oil on the plate. I even tried blotting the egg rolls with a napkin to see if that would make them edible, but the napkin soaked up a whole sheet of oil--and it still wasn't enough. I told the server, and they gave me one replacement egg roll, which was very nice offer, but that was greasy again... After this, I'm done ordering the Chicken Pho and Egg Rolls there. I just so happened to be in the shopping center where this restaurant is located so I decided to give it a try since it seems to be highly rated by other yelpers. Based its name,, I expected Vietnamese food that was surprised that have the menu with Korean food. I opted to try one of lunch specials, which was all Korean food options. Excellent! I am surprised that I am barely trying Pho Hana, but I have to say absolutely amazed. I always order fried egg rolls and chicken pho at pho restaurants to see how they can deliver on these. Delicious! Those were the best spring rolls I've had in a very long time. I didn't get a chance to eat these for 30 minutes after they were ready and they were still crunchy throughout. There were no soggy pieces and they were full of flavor. I had the chicken pho the next day. It heated up perfectly and was impressed with the flavor. I tried it first before adding in limes, jalapeños, basil, and sriracha. WOW this is the best chicken pho I've had in a long time. Even after adding everything to it the base flavor still shone through. The place gets busy even with the amount of seating they have. You should be able to just walk in and get a spot. The value for what you get at this place is very high. A large bowl of Pho is only $14 so it's lower than most places. They also have more menu options in case you're in the mood for something else.
