My family got tired of eating fatty and rich American-style Christmas food two days in a row so a fresh bowl of pho was in order. I was happy with the portions, broth and meat. The broth was a good color (lighter, not too dark and concentrated) and had a subtle but rich taste. The price was fair. The bad: The prices on their website don't match the prices in the delivery app and the prices shown in menus from more recent reviewers. The website prices are about $2 cheaper than what the bowl actually costs now. The interesting: They also sell some Japanese food like bento boxes with tempura, Korean food like japchae and Chinese food like fried rice. I have been driving by for awhile now and finally decided to try this place out. They both have Vietnamese and Japanese items on the menu. Just by having Japanese items on the menu on a Vietnamese restaurant already made me think that this will not be a good experience on the menu. I ordered a Bento box with pork katsu. It took about over 15 minutes to get my order. It came with a scoop of potato salad which tasted like a store bought Ressers Potato Salad. The Veggie salad has a thousand island dressing from the bottle. The tempura was ok. The Katsu was so skinny and tiny. Was not really satisfied about the food, it was not worth the $14.00. Went here for Lunar New Year 2024. Place was almost empty. No decorations for lunar new year. Staff who took the order and brought out the food seemed miserable. Ordered 2 pork spring rolls and 2 pork vermicelli. Took 20-25 minutes for the spring rolls to come out. Vermicelli didn't come with any extra garnishes (dish is kind of known for its garnishes), as expected of a place that labels themselves as Asian fusion. Food tasted decent so there's that. Good for a quick bite, I guess? If I'm expected to pay $8 for an order of spring rolls and $14 for vermicelli, let's at least have a good time about it. It's been cold lately and I've been craving pho, so I decided to come in during lunch with a friend. WOW I was surprised to find that their pho was really good and economically friendly. I ordered the saigon pho and it was packed with meat! Not like 4 pieces but like maybe 8 or more. The meat amount was a lot for the 8-10$ price point in my opinion. The thai iced tea was a little watered down. The owners are actually korean and I saw some korean dishes that looked really yummy such as the Japchae. I would totally come back and try that lol. It was 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and I was craving noodles. Seems like every ramen place is closed between lunch and dinner so I just stumbled on this place driving around. Pho sounded good. Got the Sipa Special which is basically Pho Tai with rare steak. Meat was tender. Decent portion of noodles. The broth was just average. After putting my mint leaves, lime, bean sprouts and sriracha sauce in there, it was my familiar bowl of Pho. The broth makes a difference though... and this one was just average. Also got the fried egg rolls. They were decent. Fresh outta the fryer. What kinda got me was that they were advertising sushi specials and teriyaki plates and other things that are not vietnamese cuisine. Also, they were speaking Korean the entire time. I didn't try any of their other foods. They may be good, just wasn't expecting it since it says Vietnamese on the front there. Overall, I'd come back for a bowl of Pho if I'm craving it since there aren't many Pho places around. It's not super cheap like pho places should be though, so I'd probably just get some ramen next time for the same price. Not bad but not the best either. My friend and I went to Bamboo Song one Friday. It was fairly early in the evening so there were not too many people there. We decided to split a large Saigon Special pho and one order of egg rolls. The large Saigon Special is $7.29 and comes with slices of steak, well done brisket and flank. When the pho was first brought out, the meat was pretty rare and had to be mixed in the pho broth in order to be cooked. There was plenty of long rice noodle. Taste wise the pho was just ok. The egg rolls is $6.29 and comes in four pieces. I'm normally a big fan of egg rolls but like the pho, I just found these ok. It came with dipping sauce that I decided to not to dip in because it tasted a bit too sour. The one thing I did like was that these egg rolls came out freshly fried and cooked. One of the nicest things about this meal, is at the end, the waitress offered us free ice cream. The complimentary ice cream was nice. It was vanilla ice cream with some flavored shaved ice. This dessert was tasty and refreshing. In addition to the free ice cream, I did get another freebie during this meal thanks to the yelp app. When I checked in, I got a free soda. Service here is friendly and I am thankful for the freebies. As for the food, it is ok if you are in need of a quick pho fix. read more

Not bad for a Pho place run by Koreans. Bamboo Song 2 is across the street is from the hardware store (I think I spend way too much time at hardware stores). Anyway, today I was hungry so I decided to first hit Bamboo Song 2. Apparently, the original Bamboo Song no longer exists, so there really isn't a Bamboo Song 1 - just 2 is all that is left. While the sign in the window advertised Pho, Bamboo Song 2 has an extensive menu that includes Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese food. Since this was my first time at Bamboo Song 2 and I came here because of the sign in the window, I decide to stick my original plan. I got the large House Special Pho. It was indeed a good size bowl, however, the proportion leaned a bit too much toward the noodles and not the meat. None the less, it was still good. The broth was mild and flavorful and the noodles were not over cooked. The beef was a bit on the well done side but the tendons were just right. Overall, a very decent bowl of goodness. Next time? Holy moly I have never been to a restaurant more unprofessional, dirty, and mean. The server never spoke to us, lazily pointed at a table for us to sit at, we had to call him over to get service (twice), and even then, did not speak to us, the Hoison sauce was rancid, the lemonade was served in a kids cup, and the vibes of the restaurant was more depressing than the server himself (which I doubt is possible). He also cursed under his breath when he was reorganizing some utensils. AWFUL AWFUL place. It's disappointing cause I used to come here all the time when I was younger-- I'd get the tendon pho and come here with my mother. But now, I'll never step foot here again. I actually left early because of how horrible everything was. If the owner is reading this, PLEASE change your interior decoration, your server protocol, and clean this place up. read more
