I got the Vietnamese coffee it was so good! I wish I could order in a larger cup. I also have had the food many times it's very fresh and everything comes out very quickly. Definitely try this place! Also there is a parking lot right infront of the building.

Been coming here for years! The owner is so humble and sweet and has the best smile on his face all the time. I try to call to place takeout orders, I always get the shrimp pho with a Thai tea boba. They are very generous with the broth, and add in veggies and I appreciate it. This is my go-to for comfort meal or when I'm feeling under the weather. I'll never stop speaking up about how delicious this place is!!! Support family owner business very spacious inside, and perfect for first date or family meal

I love this place so much !! The service is always warm, friendly and quick . The broth is so good I love this pho I could eat it everyday . Whenever you step into the restaurant it's always a chill vibe .

Honestly the only place I'll get Vietnamese food! I decided to try this place because it's the only one I can find that has Bo kho and isn't pho but you can have it either with the pho noodles or bread (banh mi) We ordered the Beef Stew with bread and a Rice Beef Dish, plus a side of egg rolls to share. The Beef Stew (Bò Kho) - the broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and the bread was the best. Rice Beef Dish (Cơm Thịt Nướng) - the dish was also delicious and very juicy. My favorite appetizer was the egg rolls and it goes perfect wrapped with lettuce then dipped in their fish sauce! The service was quick and all the uncles were friendly. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We will absolutely be back to try the pho next time, but it's going to be hard to resist ordering the beef stew again! Highly recommend.

Came here on Monday dinner after a few delays getting into Burbank airport. The parking lot is one way just as a heads up! Food came out fast and the broth hit the spot. Not too greasy or salty. We got the house pho and we silently ate since we here hungry. The servers seemed like family and they were so attentive and nice. Just remember to head to the counter to pay. They take card here just so you know.

Best pho I've ever had. The broth was amazing, so tasty and flavorful. Eggs rolls were great as well. Vietnamese coffee was incredible just the right about of sweetness and strong coffee flavor. The service was quick and super friendly. I wish they were open during the weekend so I could make it out here more frequently.

The service here is great. The food is amazing. The ambience is not bad. I've been to other places that have fun, but I always seem to come back here. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy eating pho.

Solid spot for Bahm mi's. For two sandwiches and fried egg rolls it was $26 before tip so a very affordable lunch The service is super fast too I saw some peoples pho's coming in within minutes

Ask the Community - Pho Hot

Are you open on the weekends?

    They don't

I am allergic to nightshades including tomatoes potatoes, peppers, and eggplant. This includes seasonings such as chili powder, cayenne pepper, and paprika. Are the banh mi sandwiches or pho broth safe for my diet?

    It’s in your head

Since the recent openings for restaurants, are they offering sit down dining?

We will resume our normal business hours and indoor dining starting 06/21/2021. We are currently training our staff to meet safety measures recommended by LA County. Thank you.

My husband is allergic to seafood and seaweed, and doesn't eat beef or pork. Is the chicken pho or vegetarian pho good options?

    Yes

Does the beef broth use bouillon cubes? Does it contain wheat or soy?

It tasted pretty fresh as in no cubes...but of course calling them and finding out would be best

Does the pho contain MSG here?

There is no proof that MSG causes ill effects. That was a bunch of 70s racist lies. Please add MSG!

The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they only had lunch specials available from Monday - Friday at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is non existent. You will have to find street parking or local parking garages. Make sure to read the street signs well before parking. I saw someone get a ticket while walking to the restaurant. Food and Drinks: I got myself a peach jasmine iced tea. It came in an old school can type container, which was very unique and cool. The drink itself was very fruity, floral, and refreshing. As someone who loathes super sweet drinks and food, this was just right. Perfect for a hot summer's day. My dope ass friend and I ordered the spicy garlic chicken rice and shaken beef garlic noodles. The spicy garlic chicken rice is a signature wok dish featuring flash-fried chicken, broccoli, and jalapeños tossed in a bold, savory garlic sauce served over a bed of hot and fluffy rice. It also comes with some popular Vietnamese veggies like lettuce, daikon radish, and pickled carrots. The chicken itself was soft, tender, and flavorful. Truthfully, this dish was mid compared to that of the shaken beef garlic noodles. It was also a pretty hefty portion of food. The shaken beef garlic noodles were hella fire. You would be remiss if you didn't order this, y'all. That's like going to Disneyland during Halloween season and NOT taking a photo with the gigantic ass pumpkin. Tsk tsk tsk. Anyways, this dish had thick, incredibly tender, mouth watering, and juicy cuts of wok-seared beef tenderloin and buttered onions served over generous portions of al dente savory, garlic-loaded noodles. As a fan of garlic and onions, this dish hit the spot. Also, this was a "wet" noodle style rather than a dry stir-fry. The generous portion sizes make it a heavy, highly filling meal. Staff: So I arrived earlier than my friend. They technically were not supposed to seat me until my friend arrived, but because the restaurant was pretty empty when I arrived, they told me to sit down at a booth to wait for my friend. Thanks, Mariska. She was very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

Beef pho hit the spot, perfect temp broth to wilt the herbs and sprouts, savory flavor, and tasty meats. The taco was a surprising hit, beef was the same from the pho topped with pickled onions. Must have with a spritz of lime and sriracha. Service was great, server was helpful, and friendly. Talked about the specials and took care of the rest. The restaurant has a charming fresh feel, nice decor and ample seating for groups. It was a little warm this summer afternoon but in all honesty it kinda added to the ambiance and reminded me a little of eating in Hanoi. All-in-all happy with my dining experience and will gladly add Lotus & Light in my pho round up.

I dont know…read moreif the cook just sucks or its management's orders but when you order a banh mi, it comes with jalapenos. I even verified with the girl on the phone when placing the order i wanted jalapenos. The banh mi has no jalapenos, half the sandwich is daikon and carrots with a cucumber and the thinnest layer of overcooked beef on top. I ordered last month 2 banh mi and egg rolls. Banh mi had no jalapenos either, the egg rolls were missing lettuce wraps and the sauce was half the to go container. I've eaten here in person and received lettuce when eating in the restaurant, their yelp photos show lettuce wraps with the egg rolls. But every time i ordered egg rolls for takeout it is missing lettuce wraps. The one time i ordered and got the lettuce wraps with egg rolls, i had to explicitly tell them to add it that time. I thought this placed served the food as it should be in their culture? I've held back leaving a bad review of this place because i thought they would somehow improve or it was a one off mistake but this was the final straw. Consistently screwing up or intentionally holding back ingredients on takeout orders crazy. How much are you actually saving by with holding lettuce, sauce, and jalapenos??? This place used to be good, now it's just another above average spot. If you want banh mi, go somewhere else and be less disappointed.

My dining mates that had the banh mi were also happy with their choices and the one that had the Spring Rolls felt it was sufficient enough to be a meal. Service was attentive and quick. Given the choice between inside and the patio we chose the patio which has a bit more vibe. Parking can be a bit of a challenge.
