I've heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. I dined here with some friends on a Sunday late afternoon. I was disappointed in the food. Some of the dishes lacked flavor, specifically the Thai sample and the pad see ew. Pad See Ew is usually my go to dish and even the color of it looked different so I knew it was prepared differently but I was still open and willing to give it a try. Not a fan. I will say, the garlic scallops were tasty and would be the dish that I would highly recommend. We tried to order the spicy catfish but they ran out....bummer. We went on a Sunday afternoon. There's a structure for parking that's a short walk to the restaurant. Our party of 4 was seated right away. I had my heart set on the fried catfish but unfortunately it was all sold out by the time we got there. We ordered the Thai sampler, garlic scallops, fried fish, fried rice, chicken and green beans, pat see lew with shrimp, and Thai tea. The garlic scallops were really tasty. I stopped by Season Thai Cuisine and overall the food was good, but the portions left a little to be desired. The red curry was really flavorful and had a great balance of spice and richness. The broth was honestly the highlight of the dish, though I do wish it came with a bit more chicken. I also ordered the garlic pepper beef à la carte with a side of rice. The flavor was solid and the garlic really came through, but the portion was noticeably smaller compared to what I usually get at most Thai spots. My sister originally ordered cashew nut chicken, but it ended up coming out as orange chicken. Since it was already close to closing time, she didn't want to send it back and just kept it as is. Season Thai is perfectly located in the heart of downtown Burbank, many parking spots and parking structures to choose from. I came here before walking over to AMC to watch a movie with my boyfriend. The restaurant is small but is clean and I've never had to wait for a table which is nice! The servers are friendly and attentive when we need something. Service is good, we ordered chicken satay which took about 10 minutes. The chicken is juicy and packed with flavor, one of the best chicken satay's I've had at a Thai restaurant! It comes with a side of peanut sauce and pickled cucumber vinegar dipping sauce. Sooo good. For our main I ordered Rad Na, the noodle to sauce to chicken to vegetable ratio was perfect, they don't skimp on chicken! The sauce was so good I could've drank it like a soup. The pan fried noodles were nicely charred and had great texture. Not too mushy or hard. I appreciated that they gave a good amount of broccoli and carrots-- I love veggies! My boyfriend ordered the Teriyaki Chicken (#45), and he said the teriyaki sauce was tasty and (thankfully) not so sweet like other restaurants have. It was perfectly seasoned and not overly salty that he was fine eating it without rice. I highly recommend coming to Season Thai for authentic Thai food! I can see why this place has great reviews. The food was delicious and filling. The person who helped me gave me a great suggestion. I was able to order the panang curry but with the veggies of the yellow curry. It was perfect! It had a very mild kick, but there's pepper flakes on the table if you need additional spice. Came here with my cousin for a girls day ! It was a great choice to say the least! Food was delicious and it wasn't too busy so we were served quickly ! My cousin and I shared the appetizer Chicken Stay, the peanut sauce that was served with it was amazing! 10/10 I also had the Pas See Iew with chicken and broccoli, it was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The Thai food here is delicious!!!!!!! I went based off reviews I saw on Yelp and I wasn't let down!! I'm surprised it's not rated higher or has more reviews based on the area. I ordered the combination fried rice, pad see-lew, and orange chicken. Every item we tried was really good but the Pad See-Lew stood out the most for me. This place is a 3.3 in my books. Not quite 3.5 to round up to a 4. This is not to say that I don't recommend this spot -- quite the contrary. It is a solid go-to thai restaurant but just not the best thai food I've had. I've tried their pad thai, pinneapple fried rice, spicy noodles, pad see yew and they are all solid but nothing out of the ordinary. For example, I always enjoy their food but don't really feel the urge to pack all of my leftovers kind of feel? I think they have a decent lunch menu. Service is decent and the spot is quaint. We went here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend - the restaurant has a very pleasant, simple ambiance and the people who work there are very nice and attentive. We ordered the Mongolian Beef Chef's Combo, Pad Se Eiw with Beef and Fish in Curry Sauce. I enjoyed the food - my husband thought it wasn't spicy enough for Thai. The Chef's Combo comes with a nice little salad, Shrimp Fried Rice and some vegetables. I really liked the Shrimp Fried Rice - the Mongolian Beef was pleasant but could have been more...flavorful. It tasted good but could have been stronger. Same for the Pad Se Eiw - it was fine but I've had tastier...my husband felt the Curry Fish was too bland...the friend who recommended this restaurant has a very sensitive palate and doesn't like things very salty or spicy - so she loves this place. I docked a star because the interior, while very clean, was a bit small and I noticed a line of paint on one wall, maybe from chair tops scratching it away?
