3.5 is my true review. We shared appetizer fried spring rolls these were ok served with a sweet dipping sauce. The water taste like it comes out of the tap and unfortunately you can taste it in the Thai iced tea did not care for it 2 out of 5. The Thai iced coffee is much better also enjoyed my son's strawberry lemonade seemed to be made fresh. My son really enjoyed his beef teriyaki much more flavorful than your typical teriyaki. The grilled noodle salad was mostly good. The fact they grill the pork is excellent very flavorful. Noodles and veggies are very fresh my only complaint was with the sauce that you pour over the noodles. Not enough flavor feels like it was lacking some fish sauce or vinegar it needed some extra flavor. The pho was very tasty my son devoured every portion. They do not skimp on the portion. Not sure how many Vietnamese restaurants they have in Visalia, but this place had some good and not so good qualities. Gave it a 4 overall because I think most people will be able to find something they enjoy here, just avoid anything that uses their tap water. read more

Cute place! Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't that busy. Open kitchen with a big neon sign above it. Casual atmosphere. We were seated pretty quick and the staff were very nice. We ordered: -Pork Spring Rolls -Hut Combo Pho -Bun Bo Hue -Pork Sandwich Everything was good but I really liked the sandwich. You can tell it was made fresh. The bread was light, crispy, and flaky (not stale). Everything inside was a mix of good flavor and crunch between the meat and veggies. The phos are huge and shareable. I liked the pork spring rolls as well and the bun bo hue wasn't that bad either. Located in an area where you can also walk off the food after and do some shopping. Invited my dad to lunch and him to try Pho for the first time. I had not been to this place so we decided to give it try. The restaurant is very big with lots of tables. Service was slow and took a while to get our drinks orders taken. The pho was bland and they give us very little toppings. It was worth trying but I would not go back. read more

It was a lot of food, which was good for the price. It was okay, too. I wished the meat was more tender, but it didn't "fall off the bone" like I expected. After reading through other reviews it's safe to say the experience we had was a normal occurrence. Food was good by vastly over priced. Appetizers and plates were brought out promptly our pho in the other hand came out very very late. It was evident that our waitress did not put the order in. Tables that had not ordered and some not even seated when we placed our order got the same pho we had ordered got there food and were more then half way through it before we got ours. Like I said food was good not great and the pricing was outrageously high. Twenty dollars for a bowl of pho? That's a little much. To top off the experience they asked if we would like the split the bill when we placed our order, we said yes and at the end were handed 3 separate checks. When the first group went up to pay the were charged the bill for the entire table and they had no answers as to how to fix. Does this place have potential absolutely but there is a lot that needs to be fixed starting with the service. read more

This pho spot was super clean from the moment we walked in, with an open layout and a visible kitchen -- always a good sign. The booths were large and comfortable, and I liked that all the condiments and utensils were already at the table, which made things easy. We ordered a pork banh mi, which was full of flavor and had perfectly toasted, homemade-tasting bread, though it was on the smaller side. We also tried the pork and beef spring rolls and two beef pho bowls. One even came with a big bone, which made for a nice presentation touch. First off this place is really nice inside. The decor is beautiful. They definitely did an amazing job with the design. I ordered BBQ plate and She ordered PHO. We ordered are food and the PHO came out first while waiting the servers tells me it's going to be about 10 More minutes for mine. No big deal I was enjoying the broth from the Pho. The meat in the Pho didn't have much flavor. Server comes back a few mins later to tell me that they don't have the BBQ Ribs I ordered so I changed to the meat plate. My frustration here is they should have told me at the beginning because i could have went to Davorns and got what I wanted. Food comes and the carrots are amazing. Season perfectly. Steamed rice is steamed rice lol but the meat had zero flavor. Same with the pho. Won't be back. Took too long to get my food and it definitely wasn't worth the wait. read more

The chicken pho and rare stake pho are both very delicious! The Thai tea was yummy as well, but it was overpriced at $6. I really like that I get the option to purchase a small Pho, since I never can eat an entire bowl. The inside is clean and the music is nice. We were seated and served very quickly. I decided to come here for lunch with my brother. When we walked in, no one greeted us saying "hi, welcome, how are you"? When we were seated, the server did not say hi to either of us. A few minutes later, when he came to get our drink order all he asked was "what can i get you to drink"? There was still no hi or hello. After we ordered our drinks and appetizer, I told him my brother needed a few more minutes to look at the menu. When we got our drinks and appetizer, he did not ask if we were ready to order. I had to get up, and go to the front and I told him I wanted a new server. The music is too loud, I could barely hear my conversation with my brother. The pho was delicious. Food is good but REALLY over priced. Service is about average, not bad and not amazing. Pho was good, flavor is nice and clean. Price was about average compared to other pho locations. The 4 piece egg rolls are about $10 and are really small for what you pay for. I was expecting them to be bigger since it's over $2 a piece. Flavor isn't anything different from pho wynn or any other pho place in Visalia. I don't agree to charge $10 for 4 small rolls. The photo attached shows the size in comparison to a Jalapeno slice. Bahn mi sandwich is also small. I would prefer to go to bahn tastic or pho wynn for bahn mi at the same price if not cheaper. Photo attached show the bahn mi in comparison to a standard sized fork. So everything is pretty over priced for smaller size but you are paying for the ambiance. The location is nice, next to a Ross, Vallarta, and tj maxx. Inside has nice booth seating and cute chandeliers. Definitely a nicer pho place than the other ones in Visalia. But food is pretty average and not worth the additional cost (in my opinion). Stopped by Pho Hut & Grill on N Dinuba Blvd and had a great experience. Service was fast, which is always a plus, and the servers were very attentive and friendly. They checked in often, made sure everything was right, and didn't keep us waiting long at all. The food was really good fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portions were solid and everything tasted well-prepared. The pho was especially comforting with a rich broth, and overall the quality of the food definitely stood out. Between the quick service, attentive staff, and consistently good food, this place is a solid choice if you're in Visalia and craving Vietnamese food. Ordered the chicken pho. The shredded chicken itself was very dry. Even after being made and putting into the broth, it was still dry. Service was good. They were very nice. The ambiance was quiet and relaxed. Got served our food very quickly. I also liked all their condiments on the table. It was a quick lunch, but also pricey. One lg bowl of pho was $20. Broth was ok. Our server wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu, she forgot items, and didn't check on us after taking our order. Thankfully, a busser was helpful, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Food-wise, it was a hit! The house special beef noodle and seafood pho were delicious. My kids enjoyed the teriyaki rice plate. The shrimp spring rolls were the only letdown--mostly lettuce and lacking flavor. Great food, but service needs improvement. We'll probably order takeout next time. read more

Honestly have had better at other places same with the sauce. P3 large pho which included rare steak, flank, tripe, and brisket. The broth was very tasty and flavorful but that was pretty much it. Honestly tasted like other pho places nothing that was like oh my gosh type. We might have to try their signature pho if we go again. E2 Grilled pork rice place with fried egg and vegetables. This was actually pretty good. The sauce not sure what kind it was but it was good drizzled on top of the rice and meat. The veggies were good as well, they reminded me of something I would eat with like egg roll wrappers as fresh spring rolls... anyways I enjoyed that they served the fried egg on top of the rice. The place looks great and clean. We tried different dishes cause we said hey why not? But the only thing that was good was the pho and it was very good. But the Thai tea tasted almost like a burnt taste to it and the wings weren't very good, the spring rolls were okay. I would go back just for the pho and maybe a soda instead of the Thai tea. They told us the Thai tea was good and sweet. Then were all together talking and looking at our table when we asked to get something else. But, I have had Thai tea so many places so many times. Came with the family to give this spot a try. First impression was great, nice clean open seating. It seemed to be a clean spot as we saw the employees even wearing gloves. Now the concern: the servers never changed their gloves even after having been observed grabbing trash from the ground then with same gloves on grabbing the toppings to place on a plate. Same server was grabbing all the menus, holding the machine to take your order, grabbing cash, touching the mop to clean a spill and continued to handle the food without changing the gloves not even once. Its a beef broth base, and it definitely lacks in flavor on its own. When your star dish is a broth dish, you'd surely want it to hold flavor but sadly this pho does not. I was trying to tell our 'waitress' (the woman who never came back to our table once the food was dropped off) about my sons severe food allergy to clarify about no possibility of cross contamination & she kept saying 'ok' without listening to me.
