There was an elderly gentleman who was down on his luck, who came inside. He asked two young girls who were dining for money just for drink (100 degree day). I really appreciate how they added a Lent friendly menu and I enjoyed the pescatarian options. Service is friendly and take out orders are packed neatly. *Bun Bo Hue: too heavy on the oil and not on the spices. The noodles were also on the harder side. The broth needed a richer beefy profile. The slices of beef were tender but they lacked any robust flavor. *Shrimp Toast: the bread to shrimp topping ratio was ideal. The toast was browned well and was very crispy. This contrasted nicely with the creamy shrimp mixture. However, the mix was a bit bland so I would add some chili oil. *Amour Special: really solid banh mi. Stuffed with cold cuts and loved the thick layer of pate. The pickled vegetables were sweet and refreshing. I liked how they also asked preemptively if peppers were alright. *Egg Rolls: crispy and hot. The filling was a bit salty but the included fish sauce and pickled vegetables served as a sweet counterpart. *Charbroiled Meat Vermicelli: lot of shredded lettuce and pork.
