Even though we arrived close to closing they still took the time to serve us. We were very appreciative considering that we are not locals. The waitress was amazing as she helped us to decide. My pho did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful. The family atmosphere added the perfect touch to our meal.

Under new management. The old name was Phó Le. It is now called Phó Huyèn. Inside is immaculate. It looks like the early stages of something that will be fantastic. A few growing pains with managing a new business. The phó broth is the best in all of Columbus. I know, because I have had most all of them. The spring rolls were fresh, fantastic flavor. Sauce was just right. The phó......exactly how I like it. A nice fatty beef broth cooked with love. I enjoyed everything about the food here. This will be my new weekly go to, for my phó hankering. You won't be disappointed!

New Vietnamese spot in Columbus worth checking out @phohuyencbus has taken over the Pho Le space on Morse Rd and we've been loving their weekend specials Last weekend's Mì Vịt Tiềm (duck noodle soup) was rich and comforting This weekend's Bánh Cuốn (steamed rice rolls filled with pork , sliced pork sausage and sweet mung bean cake ) hit the spot Favorites so far - Bún bò Huế - Phở đặc biệt combo - Cold Cut Bánh mì - Shredded Pork Rice Paper Rolls (Bì cuốn) Don't skip the house-made garlic saté or lemongrass chili oil You can grab a jar to level up your home noodle game ! Service and space is super friendly, and they offer great recommendations!

I ordered through DoorDash, so I can't comment on the in-person experience, but their pho was fantastic! Their packaging was thoughtful on the to go orders - veggies, meat and noodles in one container and separate from the broth (which was in an actual bowl!). This made assembly so much easier than a standard container. The broth was absolutely delicious - possibly the best I've had in Columbus plus they gave a very generous amount of noodles.

Great eats! Clean, friendly spot with casual/lunch type vibes. Order at the counter. Food was delicious! We had Pho, fried rolls, and a pork and rice plate. Everything was fresh and tasty, plus prices are very fair which is kind of rare these days. The chefs seemed to take care with ingredients and there were nice little touches- for example the green onion garnish seemed marinated/dressed and each garnish seemed handled with care- not sure how else to describe that. Recommended!

One of my favorite places to grab food in Columbus. Sorry I don't have a better pic. The pho always tastes so fresh and flavorful, and they do a good job packing it up to-go. I never use the sauce brackets because the broth is so good. The egg rolls are yummy too. The same man is there every time I go, he is very sweet. Support amazing small businesses like this!

I will be the first to admit that I am a viet food snob. I think I have every right to be. Its the food I grew up eating. I have a particular palette when it comes to it. I try not to be so harsh. I avoid things like pho and other soups because I know my taste and I love my family's version of it. We live in columbus, there's not a lot of viet people so I know restaurants are trying to cater to a western palette as to not "scare" people. Shout out to the adventurous people though. That being said, I love the way they do their pork. It is so flavorful. I have gotten them pork banh mi before and today I tried to bun thit nuong. It was perfectly portioned. Each item. There was a perfect amount of noodles, pork, veggies and sauce. I like that they added bi (shredded pork/pork skin). You normally find this on the combo rice dish but I liked it on the noodles! Veggies were fresh, I like when they don't get buried under the noodles. Knowing all the pieces and parts to making viet food, I have a true appreciate when I eat it. Great price point as well. I dined in, and it was quiet. They had just opened. It's clean, and not busy. Looks like they mainly work off of take out items. I can't wait to go back and try the soups despite being a snob, mostly because I'm far from home and grandma's soup.

I've had better. I was pretty disappointed with what I received via Grub Hub take out for lunch today. I'm a self-proclaimed pho connoisseur and Jayme's email this week about Vietnamese food in Columbus got me hankering for some pho. Cruising down the Morse, I notice this new restaurant recently and wanted to give them a shot. I ordered 2 egg rolls and they were actually spring rolls, no big deal. One bite and the pork filling was pink. Yuck. In the trash. I ordered the Pho Chin (eye of round beef) and, per customary pho take out procedure, a hot container of brother was accompanied by the rare beef, herbs, onions, spouts, jalapenos & a lemon (used to a lime usually). Hoisin & sriracha packets to boot. Looked promising. The broth was flavorless. I added a lot of salt to it to give it some sort of taste, but I'm used the dimensional broth with tons of spicy, salty flavor. The beef portion was miniscule as compared to other pho spots in Columbus for the same price. I ate it, but it didn't tickle my craving like other bowls of pho can & have. Don't think I'll be including this on my list of favorite pho in Columbus recommendations.

Well, it's hard to be unbiased and positive when the broth tastes like dishwasher detergent from the plastic bowls or utensils. I really liked supporting this family but I won't be back.

I don't think I've ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant with so many options! The moment I saw the menu, I told my boyfriend, "This is where we're eating today." And I'm so glad I made that decision. The moment we stepped inside, we already had a feeling we picked the right place. The old-school interior, the '70s and '80s music playing in the background, and the overall vibe just made me think, "Yeah, this place is going to be good." We ordered the gỏi đu đủ tôm thịt (green papaya salad with shrimp and pork), bánh bột lọc (tapioca dumplings), bánh mì thịt heo (grilled pork bánh mì), phở tái sườn bò (beef noodle soup with rare steak and beef ribs), and phở đặc biệt (beef pho combo). For the drink, we ordered iced vietnames coffee. The green papaya salad wasn't too fishy from the fish sauce, and I really enjoyed the subtle sweetness and how light and refreshing it tasted. The bánh bột lọc was a 10/10 for me. The dipping sauce and fried onions made it even better. It just disappeared into my mouth! I could've easily eaten more. When we ordered the bánh mì, we didn't really read the description or realize how big it would be. When it came out, we were shocked by the size! I also liked that the vegetables were served on the side, so we could add as much or as little as we wanted. It tasted amazing, and we enjoyed every bite. We actually ordered so many appetizers because we thought the pho portions were going to be small. Based on the reference photos and the price, we weren't expecting the bowls to be that big. But when the pho came out, we were shocked. The bowls were huge! We definitely underestimated the portion sizes here. One thing I noticed about the pho was that it tasted a little different from what I'm used to. The broth was much more herbal and aromatic, with a gentler taste rather than that strong, pungent hit on the tongue. It made me wonder if this is closer to what traditional Vietnamese pho is supposed to taste like. Just a heads-up, you pay at the counter when you're done eating rather than waiting for the server to bring the check. On our way out, we also grabbed a steamed rice cake to take home. Definitely try one if you see them because they're so good! I actually think they taste even better at room temperature rather than heated up. Everything we ordered came in such generous portions, especially for the price. Nothing tasted overly salty or overpowering, which I really appreciated. Everything tasted fresh, and I was genuinely impressed by the quality, portions, and value. I'm so glad we decided to try this place. With such a huge menu, there are already so many other dishes I want to come back for!

Don't judge the book by its cover!…read more If you want an authentic Vietnamese food look no further. Service is very quick all the time, food comes out fresh and piping hot, reasonably priced and generous portions. If you're in a rush and haaangry this is the placeto be! Happy tummy!

Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.

It was a rainbow of flavors and textures. Probably reasonably healthy, definitely incredibly tasty. I also got the fried jerky, because why not? Apparently it's a Laotian thing. I got mild with the spicy sauce on the side, and the jerky itself was pretty hot. The spicy sauce was not any more spicy, but was very flavorful. The jerky was thin, and crispy. Not all that different from some regular jerkies. Very good. A big portion. Came with perfect sticky rice. There was a fair amount of heat in everything except the rice. I like heat, but if you don't, order carefully. I believe there is a no spice option below the mild. Portions are good, prices are good, food is fantastic. Order was ready on time.
