    Beef Pho
    Carolyn J.

Ordered delivery from here. I got the beef pho and Vietnamese flan. Both items were really tasty. The beef was already cooked which I was surprised by. My only disappointment was I paid extra to get the "regular" size and there was barely any meat, like a couple strips. But other than that, it was good. I never had that kind of flan before and I liked it. The sauce in the bottom was rich and maybe had espresso in it? The flan was really soft, I prefer a more firm but that's just my preference. Still tasted good.

Nice to have Vietnamese as a good option among the offerings at Easton Town Center. The Vietnamese crepe was quite delightful as we dipped it wrapped in a piece of lettuce. The pho is the go to but I went vermicelli noodles with pork this time, dosing it with Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce.

Nice location with free parking across the street at Nordstrom. Interior is nice and was much more casual than expected. This feels like a family run place. Service was decent but it was not busy while we were here. Food was ok for the price. Not the best pho in the city but it wasn't bad.

We came here for a family member's birthday, and it was a good time! The food came out quickly and the service was nice! I was happy to see there was a vegan pho option and more vegetarian-friendly options in the noodle section of the menu. To start, I had the mango bubble tea, which they were able to do with popping pearls, which was great. I would have wanted it to be slightly less sweet, so I asked to do it 50% sweetness, but they said that it's pre-prepared, so the sweetness is one level. It was still good! I ordered the vermicelli noodles with tofu, and they were able to sub out the fish sauce for peanut sauce, which is my favorite sauce. I enjoyed it, and there was plenty for a second meal. I also ordered the veggie egg rolls, which were very tasty! The chili sauce that comes with it is very spicy, so I just ended up dipping it in the peanut sauce, and I didn't mind at all! Since this location is in Easton, there is plenty of parking, and it was nice to go for a little walk around afterwards.

This was one of the nicest pho places that I've been to. I loved the decor. The food was great as well. Service was friendly. I'd definitely come back.

Service didn't start out on a good foot. They handed me the menus instead of the guy who showed us the table. I didn't think much of it... The soup spoons were dirty. The pho was a bit overpriced even when adjusted for location. The basil we were given was wilted (included picture) on both plates for our table. I didn't see much difference between the regular and small bowls except broth. The amount of noodles seemed the same.

We ordered the Beef Phó and Fresh spring roll, as well as coffee and taro boba Pros: 1. Service was great, fast and efficient 2. Seat where you please 3. Not crowded Cons: 1. Pricey (2 phós, 2 boba and 1 springroll $85) 2. The Phó broth to me was just lacking the Phó flavor, if you want meatballs that is an additonal. Also meatball was kinda starchy instead of that bouncy meaty taste. 3. Spring roll was ok.

We had the best experience here! My brother, mom, and I were babysitting my 2 yo niece for the day and our waiter was so nice, funny, and accommodating. The food was amazing as well, we went specifically because I've been wanting Pho and it was so good, probably the best I have ever had and at such a good price! My brother got the same and loved, too. The spring rolls were great, and so were the crepes. On top of that, the restaurant was so nice. Very aesthetic and clean! All around a great place and I'd love to go back if I'm in the area again!

We stopped by Pho Social while in the Easton area, in part, due to the positive Yelp reviews. The inside is nicely decorated, and they have a full bar top which I wasn't expecting. The menu is straightforward and simple, with entree options of pho, noodles, rice or banh mi. I opted for the beef pho. The waiter suggested getting it with meatballs, so I went with that (albeit an extra $2). My SO got the chicken pho. It was ready rather quickly, but we were brought out two beef pho's. Not a huge deal, and once we pointed it out, the chicken pho arrived within minutes. Our waiter made a point to note it was the kitchens fault, not his. Overall, I enjoyed my beef pho, but mainly for the broth. The beef itself was alright, and I regretted getting the meatballs the second I bit into one. However, after removing the meatballs, I ate it all and found myself repeatedly sipping the broth with the porcelain soup spoon. I had a bite of my SO chicken pho, and the shredded chicken was pretty good. If I came back, I would probably order chicken with the beef broth. Lastly, I was a bit surprised with the price, especially compared to similar restaurants. Our 'small' pho's were $16 each, and a 'regular' would have been $20. Probably priced to keep up with the Easton rent, but still a little more than I was expecting.

    The menu.

I don't think I've ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant with so many options! The moment I saw the menu, I told my boyfriend, "This is where we're eating today." And I'm so glad I made that decision. The moment we stepped inside, we already had a feeling we picked the right place. The old-school interior, the '70s and '80s music playing in the background, and the overall vibe just made me think, "Yeah, this place is going to be good." We ordered the gỏi đu đủ tôm thịt (green papaya salad with shrimp and pork), bánh bột lọc (tapioca dumplings), bánh mì thịt heo (grilled pork bánh mì), phở tái sườn bò (beef noodle soup with rare steak and beef ribs), and phở đặc biệt (beef pho combo). For the drink, we ordered iced vietnames coffee. The green papaya salad wasn't too fishy from the fish sauce, and I really enjoyed the subtle sweetness and how light and refreshing it tasted. The bánh bột lọc was a 10/10 for me. The dipping sauce and fried onions made it even better. It just disappeared into my mouth! I could've easily eaten more. When we ordered the bánh mì, we didn't really read the description or realize how big it would be. When it came out, we were shocked by the size! I also liked that the vegetables were served on the side, so we could add as much or as little as we wanted. It tasted amazing, and we enjoyed every bite. We actually ordered so many appetizers because we thought the pho portions were going to be small. Based on the reference photos and the price, we weren't expecting the bowls to be that big. But when the pho came out, we were shocked. The bowls were huge! We definitely underestimated the portion sizes here. One thing I noticed about the pho was that it tasted a little different from what I'm used to. The broth was much more herbal and aromatic, with a gentler taste rather than that strong, pungent hit on the tongue. It made me wonder if this is closer to what traditional Vietnamese pho is supposed to taste like. Just a heads-up, you pay at the counter when you're done eating rather than waiting for the server to bring the check. On our way out, we also grabbed a steamed rice cake to take home. Definitely try one if you see them because they're so good! I actually think they taste even better at room temperature rather than heated up. Everything we ordered came in such generous portions, especially for the price. Nothing tasted overly salty or overpowering, which I really appreciated. Everything tasted fresh, and I was genuinely impressed by the quality, portions, and value. I'm so glad we decided to try this place. With such a huge menu, there are already so many other dishes I want to come back for!

Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.
