I was in Easton area for 4 days last week and had lunch, dinner at Pho Social at Easton in 3 days. All foods that I had tried were very good; specially vermicelli noodles, pho, Vietnamese crepes, spicy beef soup, rice with grilled pork. Plan cake was so delicious and Vietnamese style milk coffee was great in tasting. Server was great, they were very nice and friendly. Ordered delivery from here. I got the beef pho and Vietnamese flan. Both items were really tasty. The beef was already cooked which I was surprised by. My only disappointment was I paid extra to get the "regular" size and there was barely any meat, like a couple strips. But other than that, it was good. I never had that kind of flan before and I liked it. The sauce in the bottom was rich and maybe had espresso in it? The flan was really soft, I prefer a more firm but that's just my preference. We came here for a family member's birthday, and it was a good time! The food came out quickly and the service was nice! I was happy to see there was a vegan pho option and more vegetarian-friendly options in the noodle section of the menu. To start, I had the mango bubble tea, which they were able to do with popping pearls, which was great. I would have wanted it to be slightly less sweet, so I asked to do it 50% sweetness, but they said that it's pre-prepared, so the sweetness is one level. It was still good! I ordered the vermicelli noodles with tofu, and they were able to sub out the fish sauce for peanut sauce, which is my favorite sauce. I enjoyed it, and there was plenty for a second meal. I also ordered the veggie egg rolls, which were very tasty! The chili sauce that comes with it is very spicy, so I just ended up dipping it in the peanut sauce, and I didn't mind at all! Yeah, four stars, I agree. Now, the service for our group of 11 was great. Five stars for that. They marked off the tables with "Reserved" signs. They didn't look too bummed when a few of our original group of 15 couldn't make it because of the horrible weather. They didn't get any orders wrong, even checking a couple of them to make sure they got them right. The food came out sooner than we expected. They split the bill happily and with ease, without mistakes. Even though they added an automatic 18% gratuity because our group was larger than six, I felt the service was worth a few extra bucks, and I tipped some additional. Great, all y'all. The food was very good. Great? Not quite. Very good, though. I had the Curry Chicken. It was tasty, with delicious chicken chunks and yummy French bread to soak up the soup. Could have used a fork and knife because they impolitely large, but yum. The onions were varied, with some strident and some smooth. I prefer smooth in curries. And they were kind of big, too. As were the potatoes. Big. Nevertheless: get that. And a knife and fork. My wife got Rice with Grilled Beef and Egg. I think she won, except for the daikon. I don't understand daikon, which doesn't seem like food to me, which is why I didn't order it - though I would have gotten it with tofu. But the beef was perfectly spiced and perfectly done, and the rice was good. A bit more fat and gristle than she prefers, but this IS a Vietnamese restaurant. And the portion was plenty big enough that sorting these annoyances out didn't short her meal in any way - plenty left for lunch next day. Get that. We got Fried Egg Rolls as an appetizer. Very tasty, flaky, with good sauce accompaniments. The red one is reported by my wife to be hot, though I didn't think so. The clear one is vaguely, pleasantly sweet. Get that. I'm going to try to talk her into the steamed variety next time, though, which is my preference and raved about at the other end of the table. The table got saki for dessert. It wasn't outstanding. Some wished it had come out hot, but I like cool saki better. Each to their own. I got a mango bobo, which was fine. It had mango chunks along with the requisite mysterious yummy spheres. It also had a lot of ice, which hampered chasing down any goodies with either the straw or the spoon. I gave up, particularly because the ice watered it down to a disrespectful level after several minutes. The store is very pretty and comfortable. Good not great. Oh, you want more? Okay. I should have known this would be a bit of a disappointment, despite the good reviews. Pho, at Easton. Anything at Easton, honestly- high rent and nouveau riche, plus horrible parking. But on this day with I think the first frost, pho sounded appropriate, and I was going to Costco so it was close. Easy parking on a weekday, big lot near Istanbul and other Easton landmarks was almost full but I found a space not too far away. Great service. Seriously, it wasn't super busy but it felt like each table had its own server, and mine was great. There when I needed her, but not too often. Helpful and friendly. The food... was fine. Good, even. But we have lots of pho places in town, and most are better than this, for less. This place is fancier, to be sure, and has a slick bar. But you don't need fancy for pho, and honestly I've never had pho at a fancy place, just neighborhood places. Fancy pho? Like fancy barbecue and fancy fried chicken, it never works out well. I didn't quite get pho here, went with the sate noodle soup. Broth, vermicelli, meat, veggies. Super fresh veggies, in it and of course on a plate to add. I also added hoisin and sriracha, just a bit. The broth, I assume the same as for the pho, was just okay. Not full of flavor, like some. Good enough, but disappointing when I've had much better. I got beef, and there was plenty, thin and tender. The noodles were good, and a nice change from pho noodles. I also got a banh mi and figured I would take it for later, but I was hungry and the portions weren't huge, of soup or banh mi. That was better- perfect ratios of ingredients, great balance of flavors and textures. Pretty skimpy on the meat, though. If Thai or Vietnamese tea is on a menu I get it, because it's always good, and kinda rare. (Same with rib tips and burnt ends, for me, anyway.) This was rich and strong and sweet and mmm. Almost took another star off for the awful "new country" muzak. At a pho place. Listen, it's fine. And if you're not interested in the other options at Easton, definitely stop in. We had the best experience here! My brother, mom, and I were babysitting my 2 yo niece for the day and our waiter was so nice, funny, and accommodating. The food was amazing as well, we went specifically because I've been wanting Pho and it was so good, probably the best I have ever had and at such a good price! This place is right next to BD's Mongolian BBQ at Easton, and we've often overlooked it, since Easton is teaming with good eateries. Boy were we missing out. The inside looks sheik, but in a classic dining room kind of way. We did sit at a table close to the walls, and there were lots of dings and dents in the wood paneling, but we scratched (no pun intended) that up to giving it a more distressed look. My wife and I split some chicken pho and a bahn mi. I'm not kidding around when I say both were the best I've had in town, and we've been to a lot of Vietnamese places. The chicken was so moist, and the noodle were perfectly cooked. The beef bahn mi's bread was toasted just how we like it, and the ingredients were so fresh. We stopped by Pho Social while in the Easton area, in part, due to the positive Yelp reviews. The inside is nicely decorated, and they have a full bar top which I wasn't expecting. The menu is straightforward and simple, with entree options of pho, noodles, rice or banh mi. I opted for the beef pho. The waiter suggested getting it with meatballs, so I went with that (albeit an extra $2). My SO got the chicken pho. It was ready rather quickly, but we were brought out two beef pho's. Not a huge deal, and once we pointed it out, the chicken pho arrived within minutes. Our waiter made a point to note it was the kitchens fault, not his. Overall, I enjoyed my beef pho, but mainly for the broth. The beef itself was alright, and I regretted getting the meatballs the second I bit into one. However, after removing the meatballs, I ate it all and found myself repeatedly sipping the broth with the porcelain soup spoon. I had a bite of my SO chicken pho, and the shredded chicken was pretty good. If I came back, I would probably order chicken with the beef broth. Lastly, I was a bit surprised with the price, especially compared to similar restaurants. Our 'small' pho's were $16 each, and a 'regular' would have been $20. This was my first visit to a Vietnamese restaurant so I really didn't know what to expect. We were at Easton and were going to eat at Coopers Haw but would have had to wait for three hours. Not acceptable. So we went walking g and looking for someplace to eat and passed Pho. The good thing is that it was empty and we were really hungry. So we went in. It was a good choice. The servers were nice and tolerated my complete ignorance about Vietnamese food. They have good suggestions and so I took their word for it we for efff rolls - the tiniest egg rolls o have ever seen but they were sooo good! Then I got rice with shrimp. I thought it was going to be like the standard shrimp fried rice that we all get at Chinese restaurant but this was rice with great big grilled shrimp on the side. They were delicious!!! The server kept coming to check on us to see if we were enjoying the food - and we definitely were. The restaurant was not fancy; no special ambiance can be claimed. It's not a place to take someone for a romantic date. But the food was wonderful and the prices were just as good!! It was at Easton so there was plenty of parking which was good because it was raining. The restaurant has a bar but we didn't take advantage of it. The food portions were small but we got filled up! Pho Social is one of the best pho places around Columbus! Their broth is great and has less of MSG/artificial taste to it which I love. Marinated pork also has me coming back all the time! I had never heard of Pho Social until I stumbled upon them on UberEats. I was in the mood for it so I decided to give it a go. The awesome Yelp reviews helped solidify my choice. Not a lot of pho places offer vegetarian both, so that alone was reason enough for me to try it. It took about 45 minutes to arrive and while the broth wasn't hot, it was packed separately so I could heat it up. In the other container were my noodles, bean sprouts, limes, tofu, jalapenos, etc. There were also mini sriracha and hoisin sauce packets. The only thing missing was chopsticks. Thankfully, I had a set at home that I was able to use. I poured all the ingredients into a giant bowl, added my sauces, gave it a good mix and went to town. The broth was way more flavorful than I expected which is always a good thing. Vegetarian broth can be a hit or miss. The tofu had a good texture and the broccoli and carrots were cooked just the right amount. The noodles were just chewy enough too. Overall it was pretty good. I wish it came with basil and other herbs, but less onion. I also wasn't a fan of the lettuce. I think next time I'll go in person and try a few other items off the menu. read more

This restaurant was very nice looking, rather nicer than I anticipated actually. I took my daughter there for a girl's night and for her very first pho experience. She's got a whole thing with chicken broth right? She's obsessed with the chicken soup that her dad makes with a homemade stock and we mistakenly thought that she'd like ramen based on that but it was a total miss. So I said to myself, PHO will be it. And friends, it was. This was a great first experience. The pho ga was delicious, we got a boba drink to share along with it (strawberry lychee, very nice). Let me start by saying that the food was incredible during our first visit and pretty good the second time. I had the beef pho and my wife had the fried rice with tofu. Today was our second time around, and her rice was dry and lacked flavor this time. My pho would have been perfect, but the broth wasn't hot when the dish came out. I've never had pho where the broth wasn't piping hot, and this changed the whole experience. The worst part of our dining experience was the service. Twice now, we have had the same server, and he has done less than stellar. Today, It took him twenty minutes to greet us (we came with friends). We ordered Vietnamese coffee, and I eventually cancelled mine, because I never got it, and I knew food was about to come out. That was another 20 minutes. My wife finally got her coffee, which she ordered hot, and it came out lukewarm. Lastly, a couple orders were wrong, and my wife waited ten minutes for her rice after everyone was already eating. The server didn't seem to care, and I also noticed that we were a bit neglected compared to other tables who had their coffees and teas out after us and in a timely manner. So I guess a new Vietnamese restaurant opened in Easton and what great timing given that its fall/winter now. Nice ambiance and fast service but food wise, lacking in flavor and substance. First off, the menu is VERY sparse for a viet restaurant, but I'm assuming its majorly catering to the clientale of Easton. With that, it also means, unfortunately, overpriced food. I ordered the beef pho which was $15 for a small bowl or $20 for a regular. Basically double the price of most other viet restaurants (even compared to Westminster, CA, the like motherland of viet food in US). The price wouldn't be jarring if they did something to elevate the food. However, it was a pretty standard bowl of pho, no extra frills or anything. The broth was actually more salty than savory like I would expect. Overall, probably not a place I'd return to anytime soon. This was a impromptu stop on our latest trip to Easton. This restaurant is located close to Nordstroms and has large windows that were open the day we visited. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our table ordered green tea and green bubble tea to drink, both were delicious! Then we decided on spring rolls and fried egg rolls. These were so fresh and our table adored the hot dipping sauce. You're paying for the ambience. Like most restaurants at Easton, that's usually the case. I can't say the food was horrible, it was just sad. I'm sad that the only beef pho option is just that.. pho with the thin beef slices, no options of having tripe, brisket or tendon. I had to pay extra for the meatballs. There's nothing special about the broth either. It's very similar to the one you get at North market except you have better seating here. For $20, I would expect a bit more. The service wasn't great either. I had to keep looking for my server who forgot to bring my spring rolls. When I told her I'm ready to get my bill, I was charged for the spring roll, which I had to remind her that I never got. The only good thing about it was that she's really nice. Came back for a second try of Pho Social for a Friday lunch. The place wasn't busy for lunch on a Friday, which surprised me. The service was friendly and attentive. I absolutely love their Vietnamese Noodles with beef. This dish is worth coming for! It is so refreshing and flavorful. This is my second time trying the dish. The beef was much more tender the first time I had it but today was good too. Unfortunately just a few really tough bites. Grilled pork and grilled chicken bahn mis were a bit small for the price but good nonetheless. We ordered it for lunch today and again used uber eats to send to our hotel for dinner. They were light with the meat for sure, but I can empathize with inflation and food cost. No other option to add tripe, sliced rare beef, etc and you have to add $5 for beef balls. The service was super slow. We had to call someone over to take our order, and ask for the check. But she did come by during our meal to check in. She definitely didn't know when we left though cuz she was busy chatting it up with her coworker. My husband and I have been anxiously waiting for Pho Social to open. We dined there this evening and were not disappointed. I had chicken pho and he had steak pho. The broth was delicious and there was plenty of meat and noodles. Our server was very pleasant. I noticed other menu items which I can't wait to try. I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of seating. One of the owners greeted at the door. We will certainly being making it one of our favorite pho spots.
