    Menu noodles and rice dishes

Pros: Good location with easy parking Super fast service and take out order was ready within a few minutes Beef noodle soup P1 was a good sized portion Shrimp spring rolls A2 - enjoyed the light appetizer with the peanut dipping sauce Lots of menu options Cons: pho broth lacked strong flavor Milk tea with boba only had minimal boba. The boba was also hard and lacked chewiness Pro tip: The do brisk take-out business, but they are super-efficient and friendly. A good way to go if you don't have time to dine in.

Nice, friendly and efficient service but the food was just average. I ordered Curry Chicken and it wasn't bad but vegetables were too crunchy for me. Not bad but nothing special. I went with a large group and the general consensus was that the food was just OK.

A solid place for Vietnamese food! My go-to has been the Pho cà ri gà, curry chicken rice noodle (S7), which has a curry flavored broth and chunks of chicken in it. The spice level is pretty mild but the curry flavor is so delicious. It also has onions and some cilantro in it but I added even more cilantro to it and it was . The regular pho and spicy beef noodle are good as well! Service was pretty quick considering we had a huge group. They did mix up an order but that was understandable given the group size.

Delicious and fresh authentic Vietnamese food! Very friendly staff too. The food arrived at our table in a timely manner. The Vietnamese rolls were made upon ordering. Appreciated that there were different varieties available to order. The shrimp was tender, not overcooked. The grilled pork was easy to eat, not tough. Lots of main courses on the menu to choose from. Highly recommend one of their dishes with chicken. The chicken in the dish I ate was perfectly cooked. I liked that it was thin and easy to eat with chopsticks.

Came here on a rainy day during the week and it wasn't too busy. As a Vietnamese person growing up eating the food, I am extra picky with my Vietnamese food. Service was fast which I appreciated. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls, combination pho, and the eggroll + grilled pork vermicelli noodle combo. We also ordered a mango smoothie and thai iced tea. The spring rolls came out right away. There wasn't enough of the peanut dipping sauce and the rolls barely had any noodles and were missing the herbs so I was bummed about that. Our entrees came out not too long after. The pork in the vermicelli noodles were pretty good - not dry and had good flavor. I will say the egg rolls were pretty good also! It was just a bummer you only get one in the entire bowl. We ended up ordering a side of eggrolls to put in the noodles. The pho was just okay. It was almost on the bland side for me since the broth seemed watered down. I was sad to see they didn't have bun bo hue (Vietnamese spicy & sour soup) as that is also a Vietnamese staple.

This spot is a pretty authentic restaurant! A few other groups dined in for dinner like we did on a rainy Monday night. Chopsticks, napkins, and spoons were already at the table. If you want a fork, you gotta ask for it. I'm basic and usually order pho, bunh, or banh mi at Vietnamese spots but wanted to try something else. Seems like a family-owned restaurant. The wife came to take our orders and I asked for suggestions. She said the soups and stir fry are the best options. I went with a very spicy beef stir fry option she suggested, while my friend for a spicy beef soup. Sizzle sizzle! It was hot! But also very well flavored and so delicious! The stir fry had lots of basil, bean sprouts and maybe egg? They used the wide flat noodles, so I got full fast. My friend loves spicy food, even has a hotter spice tolerance than me. (She doesn't think the hottest option at HCT is even all that spicy lol). I was shocked to hear that it was so spicy for her!! I also got Thai iced tea while she also ordered an iced tea to cool her tongue. So refreshing! Really great, friendly service here. Can't wait to come back and try many things off the menu!

One of the top restaurants in Columbus. Almost every option on the menu is great. The S16 is a great spicy pho option. Banh Mi and Vietnamese Egg Rolls are two other favorites. Service is quick and very affordable restaurant.

This is authentic Vietnamese food! A very friendly lady generously waved her arm to let us choose our seats. It comforted us to see that the other patrons were Vietnamese. My husband ordered the pho and I ordered the stir-fried basil beef flat noodles. We also ordered an appetizer. When she brought our appetizer, she also brought a large cup of hot water that contained our metal utensils. I was impressed. What a great idea! I mean, in the winter, who wants to eat their meal with cold utensils? The appetizer was OK. The bowl of pho was brought out by a man. I thought that is smart to let the stronger person bring out the heavy bowls of soup. If I served soup all day, I know I would be wiped out. My husband said is pho was delicious and filled him up just right. When I took a bite of my noodles, all I could say was, "Yes, yes, and yes!" We will definitely come again.

I got the chicken pho and my girlfriend got the chicken fried rice. The meat was extremely juicy and flavorful, highlighted for me by the soothing, perfectly seasoned broth. It came with fresh bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeños and a hefty serving size for a "small". I really appreciated the speedy and friendly service. We also got two waters and menus at our table almost immediately. Definitely not our last trip here!

All I can say is Wow! The shrimp spring rolls.... amazing! The chicken rice noodle soup bowl...also amazing! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. This family run restaurant is a true gem. Service is fast and accurate. The prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend.

We decided to have lunch as a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 children.) 1. The food tasted okay, but with very little portion. I ordered a pork chop plate, which turned out to be sliced pork over rice instead. I also ordered noodles (only) for my kids and they gave us noodles with steak that was $3 extra and my kids did not even touch the steak. 2. It felt like we were being rushed to finishing our food because they came over clean up our table almost half way into finishing our meals. 3. My husband went to go pay the bill and the gentleman that was taking his payment told him his total bill was $108 with a 20% service fee for a party of 6. Fine! Then he chose to pay with a credit card, he was told it is going to be an additional $6 fee for using card. $6! That's a little hefty don't you think?? Final straw was the gentleman automatically charged my husband an 18% gratuity on top of those fees causing our total bill to be close to $150. My husband obviously made a complaint because was not told about the gratuity. Service fee was disclosed on their menu, fine! He was able to get a refund for the gratuity part; however, all and all it made our experience terrible, thus we will not be returning back here.

I drove to XIXIA in Pickerington -- and it was closed. Looked up the next closest one... far. But Pho Chef popped up right next to it, and the name felt familiar. Then I remembered -- my cousin had once recommended "Pho Chef." So I stopped. Sat down. Checked the text thread... and none of her recs were on the menu. Wrong Pho Chef? For sure. But the staff was kind, the place was calm, and I was too hungry to get back in the car. So I stayed. And while I wouldn't come back -- I'm still glad I got a story and a curry broth out of it. Their website was enticing. Ordering was easy. They have lots of options. There's a Laotian style fried rice and other things that will be familiar but there are also some unusual things. I got the stirfried chicken ramen, which is tender flavorful chicken, noodles, and tons of fresh veggies. I got it spicy, which was a little hot. But I like that. It was a rainbow of flavors and textures. Probably reasonably healthy, definitely incredibly tasty. I also got the fried jerky, because why not? Apparently it's a Laotian thing. I got mild with the spicy sauce on the side, and the jerky itself was pretty hot. The spicy sauce was not any more spicy, but was very flavorful. The jerky was thin, and crispy. Not all that different from some regular jerkies. Very good. A big portion. Came with perfect sticky rice. There was a fair amount of heat in everything except the rice. I like heat, but if you don't, order carefully. I believe there is a no spice option below the mild. Portions are good, prices are good, food is fantastic. Order was ready on time. There's tons to explore on the menu. I will definitely be back.
