    Grilled pork

This was my first time in this place and I really loved it, the menu is simple and short which allows the cooks just focus in a few items in the deliver an excellent presentation and flavor, we have the grilled pork with fried rice and veggies, which was spectacular and also the chicken Pho, which I have no words to describe the powerful flavor, the ambient is nice and the service is fast. please give it a shot if you are around Reynoldsburg,

Service is a little different at this location. They tell you to find a seat, and it may be a few minutes before they bring you a menu. There was only one waitress for all the tables. Inside has tables enough for quite a few people. I liked that the menu was smaller. They can focus on those items for quality. I got a steak and meatball phó, and fried Eggrolls. The fried Eggrolls were good. The phó is very flavorful. I only needed to add heat to that bowl. It was almost too flavorful. After adding the chili oil they brought me it tamed the flavor. That was one of the best bowls of phó I have had in a very long time. The broth was on point for what I expect. I do prefer to add flavor myself, but not too bad. This location is a little out of the way. But I would make the drive again for this!

Had high expectations given the amount of time it took for this place to open. It was ok, but not as amazing as I hoped. The pho broth, though spiced a bit differently than other phos I've had, packed a strong flavor. I got the House Special version and it came with a good amount of beef, tripe, tendon etc.. Also ordered the summer rolls and spring rolls. Both had a similar unique flavor. Didn't love the peanut dip for the summer rolls as it didn't taste anything like peanut butter. We paid about $50 for our meal. The menu was limited, no bahn mi. Ambiance was nice. Good seating and decor. Service was average. You will need to pay for your meal at the front. They have just opened, oa ironing things out. Not sure I will return, but I wish them well since there aren't many places like this on this side of town.

Pho 2024 opened up near our house recently, and we finally had a chance to try it out. as you walk in, they will greet and seat you. The menu is concise but there are some great options. We had the spring rolls and egg rolls as an appetizer and both were very good! The egg rolls were hot and crispy, and my son loved them. My son and I ordered the house pho (kids and adult are the same cost, kids is slightly smaller). The house pho does contain tripe - so beware. Otherwise, the pho is pretty good. I had to add a few dashes of fish sauce to our bowls to make it more flavorful - it started out a little bland. There are a TON of noodles though! So it was very filling. I do wish they have separate plates of veggies as they gave us one plate to share. Thankfully my kid doesn't like bean sprouts ha! The restaurant is clean and simple. There's a TV that plays YouTube cooking shows. As a millennial, the music was on point! When you are done, you go up to the counter to cash out the check. They don't come around very often to refill drinks but we were ok with our one cup.

    #9 grilled lemongrass pork

Ya'll know i love me some Vietnamese food and looked forward to trying this new spot which recently opened in the "Berg". First impression was good enough. Had the #9 lemongrass grilled pork with rice & fried egg. Traditional dish. the boneless strips of pork were well marinated and very tender. Plenty of it. What was lacking was any deep flavors of fish sauce, lemongrass or even garlic. Almost bland, add if holding back to satisfy a broader taste. The side vegetables of tomatoes and cucumbers were very fresh and worth eating. The place is small, bright & comfy. Service was somewhat awkward as servers are not dedicated to one table so you may have multiple interactions with staff. Just different I guess. Would come back only if I am in the area. I hope they succeed.

    Meatball Pho

They are just getting up and running so service was a bit slow at times. The restaurant had slightly different prices online as they do on the table side menu so be sure to confirm cost when ordering. The pho is served in a rich broth that does wonders to complement the tender meat. There is also siracha and hoisin sauce at the table available. The space is gorgeous in its design and extremely open. No lunch specials and portions are quite large.

Pho Dac Biet & Egg Rolls

I'm out of town on a work trip and wanted to find something to remind me of home. The pho broth at this place is the closest I could find to what my mom makes back home. I was greeted right when I stepped inside and the atmosphere was very peaceful. They have some soft music playing and you can hear the chef talking in the kitchen it's like a perfect combination. All in all this is THE spot I will be coming to next time I'm missing a taste of home sweet home!

We decided to have lunch as a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 children.) 1. The food tasted okay, but with very little portion. I ordered a pork chop plate, which turned out to be sliced pork over rice instead. I also ordered noodles (only) for my kids and they gave us noodles with steak that was $3 extra and my kids did not even touch the steak. 2. It felt like we were being rushed to finishing our food because they came over clean up our table almost half way into finishing our meals. 3. My husband went to go pay the bill and the gentleman that was taking his payment told him his total bill was $108 with a 20% service fee for a party of 6. Fine! Then he chose to pay with a credit card, he was told it is going to be an additional $6 fee for using card. $6! That's a little hefty don't you think?? Final straw was the gentleman automatically charged my husband an 18% gratuity on top of those fees causing our total bill to be close to $150. My husband obviously made a complaint because was not told about the gratuity. Service fee was disclosed on their menu, fine! He was able to get a refund for the gratuity part; however, all and all it made our experience terrible, thus we will not be returning back here.

Noodles Were the Better Pick * Curry-forward broth with solid heat * Real chicken breast * Veggies fresh, though jalapeños looked like they had beef with the prep person * Noodles overcooked (hello, soggy Maruchan memories) * Wouldn't reorder, but glad I tried it -- way more flavor than I expected Final Verdict: I wouldn't return -- long drive, and there are way more flavorful options in Columbus for the same price (or a little more). But this is a good pick if: * You're already nearby * You've got picky eaters or kids * You want something pho-ish, fast, and affordable How I Got Here: This wasn't the plan. I drove to XIXIA in Pickerington -- and it was closed. Looked up the next closest one... far. But Pho Chef popped up right next to it, and the name felt familiar. Then I remembered -- my cousin had once recommended "Pho Chef." So I stopped. Sat down. Checked the text thread... and none of her recs were on the menu. Wrong Pho Chef? For sure. But the staff was kind, the place was calm, and I was too hungry to get back in the car. So I stayed. And while I wouldn't come back -- I'm still glad I got a story and a curry broth out of it. To whoever runs the other Pho Chef: Tell my cousin I'm still coming. #LetJessTellIt #PhoChefColumbus #ForkAround

Their website was enticing. Ordering was easy. They have lots of options. There's a Laotian style fried rice and other things that will be familiar but there are also some unusual things. I got the stirfried chicken ramen, which is tender flavorful chicken, noodles, and tons of fresh veggies. I got it spicy, which was a little hot. But I like that. It was a rainbow of flavors and textures. Probably reasonably healthy, definitely incredibly tasty. I also got the fried jerky, because why not? Apparently it's a Laotian thing. I got mild with the spicy sauce on the side, and the jerky itself was pretty hot. The spicy sauce was not any more spicy, but was very flavorful. The jerky was thin, and crispy. Not all that different from some regular jerkies. Very good. A big portion. Came with perfect sticky rice. There was a fair amount of heat in everything except the rice. I like heat, but if you don't, order carefully. I believe there is a no spice option below the mild. Portions are good, prices are good, food is fantastic. Order was ready on time. There's tons to explore on the menu. I will definitely be back.
