Walked in and there is a prop sign to wait to be seated. Then cashier at counter asks if it's takeout or dine-in. Replied saying it's one person for dine-in. She says to sit anywhere I would like. Keep in mind the front door and counter is more than 25ft apart. Awkward indeed. About 5 minutes go by and a waitress finally stops by to take my order. Place was not packed and certainly not that busy. Placed an order for Pho combination, summer roll appetizers and Slushie Boba tea. Appetizers was brought to the table and obviously it has been sitting for a while. Wrapper was hard and not clear like most others. Bland flavor even with the peanut dipping sauce. The shop itself is clean and spacious, making it a nice spot to hang out or grab a quick bite. Regarding the food and drinks: I tried the Dragon Fruit Lemon Burst, but it was a bit disappointing as it just tasted like standard lemonade without much dragon fruit flavor. This place is so consistently delicious, it is insane. Tonight we didn't exactly know what we wanted so we got the bbq pork buns, kalbi rice plate, egg rolls, and grilled pork bahn mi just to have a bit of everything. Been here a few times now. The lemon grass pork banh mi is the BEST I've had in columbus (and I have had several). It's filled with pork, has all the vegetables, perfect crusty Baquette and the house sauce is slamming. Mmmm-mmm smh good. B3 R4 banh canh bowl is legit a TOP PICK. Based on the reviews, I was not sure what to expect. I opted to place an online takeout order and I am glad that I did. The dine-in experience was not appealing to me. Tight seating, servers seemed rushed, and dining room floor had food dropped all over it. That said, the food and coffee were both excellent. The tofu vermicelli bowl was a nice portion and full of fresh veggies and cilantro. The tofu was cooked perfectly. I love that you can customize both the ice and sweetness levels on the beverages. I ordered the combo which came with a sandwich, bubble tea, and an app. I chose the bao buns. Sandwich was good. Fresh and filling! Mom and pop shops are better but this isn't bad if it's convenient for you. Couldn't eat the app so I saved it for the next day. It was delicious! Where's the beef?? I went to Paris Banh Mi for the first time today for lunch, and it was super disappointing on multiple levels. First, I ordered a grilled beef banh mi to go. When I opened my bag upon arriving back at my office, I found a label on my sandwich that said pork banh mi instead. So I paid $10.99 for something that should've cost $8.99... that's not a good start. Upon my first look at my sandwich, I wondered if I'd been given a vegetarian banh mi instead because there's zero meat visible from the outside. This is very different from the picture of a grilled pork banh mi on Paris Banh Mi's website, which is overflowing with meat. This is borderline false advertising. Upon opening up my sandwich, I found a small amount of meat at the bottom. So at least I didn't get the vegetarian for the price of a grill beef banh mi. The sandwich itself was tasty, albeit not very filling. It's really too small for a $10 sandwich. They do offer a combo meal that comes with an appetizer, so that's probably the better choice for someone who's hungry. The straw that broke the camel's back for me, though, is that when I later looked at my receipt to make sure I ordered the grilled beef and not the pork banh mi (I did), I noticed that they had quietly tacked on a 3% surcharge for paying with a credit card. This was not clearly disclosed anywhere that I looked at, including their website, their checkout area, nor their menu board. I tolerate this practice in New York City where rent is exorbitant, but not so much in Columbus, OH. Especially when basically every other lunch place on Sawmill Road don't tack on a credit card surcharge. Based on my experience today, I would not recommend this place. Instead, if you're coming from the north/west, Lan Viet at Bridge Park is better AND cheaper. If you're coming from the south, Buckeye Pho on Bethel is also better AND cheaper. And if you're coming from the east, Pho Chef on 161 is better AND cheaper. I hate writing bad reviews for restaurants, but there's too many shady aspects of this place like the misleading photo of their sandwich online, and the hidden fee tacked onto your bill! read more

This place is great for people who enjoy pork. I was limited in my options as I don't eat pork. I got the shredded chicken banh mi and even that had a pork sauce on it (pate ga xe) that I had to request to omit while ordering. The sandwich was yummy, as the chicken was flavorful and the veggies were very fresh. I wish they had cut it in half though for easier eating. I hope they can add a veggie or chicken item similar to the pateso as well. I also got a bubble tea. I thought it became expensive with the addition of popping bubbles and jelly. Ordering at the counter was a little odd, because the person at the register asked me "anything else?" before I could even finish my entire order or all the extras to my bubble tea. I thought maybe I was ordering way too much stuff? However, I proceeded to still add the custard buns and savory pastry to the order. Although pricey, the drink was good. The custard bun was forgettable, I would not get it again. The savory pastry was not bad, but nothing to rave about. I looked into the dessert case and found them to be too expensive at $7. What a little hidden gem in Dublin. Sawmill is fast becoming an ethnic culinary hotspot. This place offer hot stone pho which makes it pretty unique. The soup comes out bubbling and you add some of your egg and raw meat into so it stays runny and the meat is tender. We ordered the meat sweat and it was definitely generous enough for 2 - Or 1 VERY hungry person. The broth was flavorful and the cuts of meat were authentically adventurous with tripe and tendon. I saw alot of ppl order their namesake banh mi and their special teas. Can't wait to try them next time!! This is close by me so I'm looking forward to coming in more in the winter. Paris Banh Mi was an affordable and delicious place to grab a quick dinner. We got a noodle dish and two Banh mi sandwiches- one tofu and one chicken. The chicken Banh mi was much more flavorful than the tofu sandwich but the tofu was very good quality and the bread was fresh. The noodle dish was kind of basic- but not bad. Crushed peanuts were a nice topping but the lettuce was an odd texture with the noodles. I think cabbage might work better. Excellent. Everything here was very good. From the brisket pho to the pork banh mi, each entree was delicious. They do not skimp on anything. The large pho had more than enough noodles and meat for me to share with my two toddlers and have my own fill. The banh mi was perfectly toasted with a great meat to veggie ratio. The Vietnamese ice coffee was also fantastic. A bit too sweet for my husband but just right for me. Our waiter was also very attentive and patient which I appreciated especially when dining with 3 kids on a Sunday afternoon. He even immediately brought my kids child sized waters with bendy straws! And he was very quick to bring everything out. This is my new pho spot. The menu is extensive so there's really something for everyone, and I felt safe eating there with my peanut allergy kiddo since the menu is well labeled and they take great care when informed. Paris Banh Mi had been expanding their food menu and they recently added noodles to their lineup. I haven't been back for a while and they changed into table service as well. You can either browse the menu through scanning the QR code at the table, or ask for a paper menu. Their noodles cover pho, vermicelli noodle salad and some authentic option like Bun Bo Hue. Their appetizer option have some variety as well. I got Bun Bo Hue and pair with the Fried Fish Balls. The big bowl of Bun Bo Hue come out piping hot. Recommend to put in all the side veggies, usually bean sprout, cabbage, and basil while the soup is still hot. It help to soften the veggies and it goes so well with the broth as a whole. I always love the umami flavor from the Bun Bo Hue broth, super rich and flavorful, yet balance out with the veggies. Their version have a fair amount of meat, like the Vietnamese pork sausage and beef shank. I wish they can also include thing like beef tendon and pork knuckles. It would be prefect if the noodles can be a bit more soften. Can't leave this place without the Artichoke tea. If you haven't try this drink, I highly recommend. It was firm, but a bit chewy. The padthai (M1) was a bit dry...usually it should be more unctuous...but maybe fewer calories this was. It was tightly packed into the carry out box, so not freshly packed. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, Pricing..not cheap, esp for the quality. I've been here a couple times and even before they had their 50% off deal. I'd say overall my experience has been okay. The pho was decent for this area, but nothing to right home about. The rare steak was a bit tough and the taste of the broth lacked complexity. It was a bit bland. As for the Bahn mi I thoroughly enjoyed it and would order it again without the mayo. They went a little too crazy with it and I feel like the meat and other ingredients were tasty enough on their own. The bread also wasn't the best, but is in line with what is offered around here. Compared to other bahn mi's in the area, I'd say it's better than average and I'd rate it a 4. Now the service completely sucks. I've been here three times. If you are Vietnamese or look it they will be extremely kind to you, let you sit grab a table before you order food and try their best to serve you. Before I realized the rules I tried to sit down first and got rudely yelled at to the point I almost wanted to walk out of the restaurant. We all have biases but this is not a good look. I recommend treating your customers equally. Lastly, the boba is tasty and the tapioca pearls have a good texture. But for the price, I'd expect a higher quality product. Finally decided to stop and try Paris Bahn Mi. I ordered their pork pate sandwich and a bubble tea. The sandwich was huge. It came on a long baguette but was not too overwhelming because it was skinny. It had lots of flavor. The tea was good but have had better bubble tea at other places nearby. They had some amazing looking pastries off to the side. I didn't order any because I had already ordered my meal and paid before I saw the pastries. They don't go with the flow of ordering so be sure to look off to the side for some tasty looking treats. It was quiet inside. They have tables for dining indoors.
