I came here for literally everyday for my lunch break, I got to know the staff who are outstanding in their kindness. But the food, is out of this world good. Best place ever, every time I come back to Poulsbo to visit family I honestly get just about the same excitement to come see the restaurant. I've been eyeing this place since they opened and finally gave it a try. I got an order to go, I called as I was leaving the grocery store and it was ready by the time I got there, five minutes later. The Phad Thai was yummy, not the traditional flavor but it's the best one I've had in Poulsbo. The Pho Steak was very flavorful and the add-ins were very generous. The crab wontons were the thing that made me nervous, when I got in my car they smelled like french fries. They didn't poke holes in the container to let it vent so I I cracked it open so they wouldn't get soggy. The filling was good, the pastry part was fine, though very thick which is not my favorite, the sauce that came with them was also decent. I will definitely be back. The food here is good, but the service is not. We often order takeout, and EVERY time it is wrong, incomplete or they just "forgot" to cook our food. It's very frustrating, and when there are issues, no one even bothers to apologize for the oversight. read more

I eat here about once a week and love the food. I usually get the #2 pho with beef and its some of the best I've ever had. The service has been spotty in the past but it's continually improving. The sandwiches are a must have every time, they are a bargain and at less than 5 bucks each I usually get 2 to go. The owner always greets you with a smile and friendly hello. I normally don't write reviews because everyone has their good and bad days. But some of these comments. Really ? Like who cares what the waitress is wearing ? It's appropriate right ? Better that she smells good instead of being a stinky waitress. Some of you are ridiculous. You act like this is some kind of wine & dine type of restaurant. If that's the kind of service you're expecting, you better be tipping like its a top notch restaurant. Which I'm sure most of you don't. This restaurant is so laid back. Probably my favorite restaurant in the area. It combines amazing food, amazing menu, big portions, quick service, clean atmosphere with great price. My wife and I can be thoroughly fed with some to spare for the kids for anywhere between 18-25 bucks. We go to silver city and we pay 50 and I wonder why. I can't recommend this place enough. It is one of my favorite all time restaurants. Try the spicy mushroom teriyaki or the Hong Kong noodle or the pad Thai... You can't go wrong my friends. Been here to eat plenty of times and never had to much of a problem.. Always good food but today I called and ordered 2 teriyaki meals and when I arrived to pick them up the lady at the front desk said there was only 1 order. I was on a time schedule trying to catch the ferry and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my other order so that made me miss my ferry. I asked the front counter lady if I could have a refund and keep the new order for my time wasted but she said no and gave me my money. NEVER will I return to this business to give them my money and that's the last time I will recommend anyone to eat here. read more

Good location. Clean and roomy with pleasant music. Service is fast and pleasant. The soup is great ! Exactly what you're looking for when you need a bowl of pho. My favorite is vegetable and tofu. Fabulous assortment of perfectly cooked vegetables and strips of fried tofu mixed with chewy noodles and hot broth - what could be better! Oh, the price is reasonable too. read more

I have to say the food here is absolutely amazing. I stopped in for take-out for the family while my daughter was finishing her dental appointment around the corner. The chicken Teriyaki and the Beef Teriyaki came with large portions of quality food. Especially the beef, it was not chewy or fatty - it was done perfectly. And I appreciated that the salad dressing was served on the side with a very thin sliced lettuce which was amazingly good too. I don't care for the pre-dressed salad that Chung's serves with their Teriyaki. The PHO well... I got 4 meals at work this week from one serving - it was great and came with Hoisin and Saracha. Decent food, good-sized portions, but terrible service. I called ahead to place an order for dine-in. The person on the phone told me I could not order dine-in. WHAT? She said they would have to give it all to me in to-go boxes in a bag. I asked if I could then open the bag once I got there, take out the orders, and eat it there (I had two young children with me and their mom was working late). I got there, paid, and the same high-school-aged, don't-give-a-shit girl mentioned in previous bad reviews handed me the bag and walked away. I had to chase her down to ask where we could sit. Then I had to get up and find napkins, utensils, and water on my own. When she came by to clear some of the Styrofoam off the table, she said I didn't need to tip her since I had to get my own stuff. loved the Pho but night started bad...we were going to Pho T&N but they were closed due to family wedding. husband said someone at work said Pho KimChi was better so we go it...it is 8.35 but hey they don't close till 9. we were greeted at door and asked if it was take out or dine in, we said dine in and she responded "sorry we close at 9". my husband responded "it isn't 9 yet" she sighed and seated us. took less than 1 minute to decide what we wanted...meatball pho and spring rolls. the broth was great, servings huge. we had to take some home. took a while for them to bring our check but we were pulling out of driveway at 9.05. lose the attitude, if you are still open you treat customers like they are paying you--they are. would have given them 4 stars of I didn't feel like they were put off by having to serve us read more
