Three of us ordered 3 separate noodle bowls N1 N4 N5. All were perfectly balanced flavor. Great grilled pork with no fat but still tender. Crunchy packed full egg rolls and fresh firm shrimp. Load a couple spoons full of the chili sauce on the table and let the complex heat kick in. Attentive staff. Not sure what the other reviews were thinking but we will return when back in town. Four of us went to eat here based on some friends recommendations. Our meals came out at different times, approximately 10 minutes from first to last. We all had different dishes and the food looked good and tasted average. Good enough to come back, so we thoight. However, after about an hour, three of us got very sick. There's a comfortable ambiance and this is definitely a sit down and eat kind of place. If you're not familiar with Poulsbo, Pho Kim Chi is located to the left of the Poulsbo Plaza. Look for Albertsons, then keep looking left past Rite Aid, and there it is, a kind of pinkish orange building standing alone. They offer free wi-fi, a clean restroom for customers, and an amazing price for such good food. The food here is consistently superb. Large portions and fresh. However, today when we came in we were seated at a table - despite asking to be sat at a booth. The available booth was 'being saved in case a 5 or more person group comes in'. I noted that there were several large round tables open that would have been able to accommodate a large group. Shortly after seating us 2 booths became available and instead of offering one to our group they were given to a 2 top and a single guest. Now, I don't give a shit about where I sit - but the other member of my group has a bad back and sitting on a hard chair exacerbates this. When it was time to pay the bill, it was brought up that we didn't appreciate not being offered a booth and gave the owner an opportunity to try to make it right. As the conversation unfolded the waitress interjected and started arguing that they were saving the booth 'just in case'. This wasn't the first time we'd had issue with this waitress, a few months ago she took our order, came back and confirmed the order since she hadn't written it down, and still brought us out the wrong food. The Pho is delicious, but the waitressing staff is grumpy looking, inattentive, and unhelpful. I've been here several times and each time it is the same; delicious food, bad staff. Not the best teriyaki I have had , chicken was of low quality , sauce was decent but portion for price was only saving grace on this meal . The employees were too busy huddled together behind the counter complaining about having to work five days in a row , all while talking about their social media life and phones in hand when I had to get up to request the check and a to go box ... Lets not pho around here. These guys nailed it. The new look is great. I went recently with my wife, son and wife's parents. We had the house rice, chicken pho, and egg rolls. Loved their Shrimp Pad Thai. It had a generous amount of shrimp in it, and just done to perfection. I don't care about the sprouted beans and the "fresh greens" sprinkled on top, but this Pad Thai is surpassing anything I've ever had... which I know doesn't say much since I'm kind of a novice in Thai food. We also ordered fried tofu appetizer. Absolutely DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back and will order both. Thank you for your great food. My family has been eating here for years and we have never been disappointed by the food. It's always fresh, they use tons of fresh vegetables, large portions and not super expensive. My kids can always find something they will eat. My favorite dishes are the Vegetable and Tofu Pho and the Banh Mi Sandwiches. Rice noodle salad bowels are also delicious. read more

This is my favorite pho place in the area. The broth is very good, with a nice depth of flavor and not too salty. The vegetarian pho is excellent - it always comes plenty of tofu and a generous selection of fresh veggies. No skimping here. The restaurant was remodeled in the past few months and now the decor is a much closer match to the quality of the food - before it was definitely on the "dive" side but now it's quite pleasant. I haven't found the service to be especially friendly as some others have written, but everyone there has always been efficient and agreeable to my minor requests (an extra lime, an extra napkin, whatever). Second visit tonight and likely my last - had the chicken katsu. Food was mediocre at best, but what really got me was the rude customer service I received the minute I walked in the door. I manage a fast casual restaurant and I know the value of good customer service! Two young girls at the counter on their cell phones, who didn't even look up at me when I approached the counter, one of them just barked at me, asking if I was picking up... I am a glutton for punishment. Why do I keep coming here?! Visited the other day and was sitting in view of the front counter where the register is. This is also where they stage the water cups and fill them for the tables. The waitress who had just cashed out an order started staging cups to fill. First she didn't wash her hands after handling cash, then she puts out the cups to fill with water. She lines them up by grabbing the cups by the top rims! She has four fingers IN the cup and her thumb outside the cup. Then fills it with water. Gross! I don't want her fingers that she just handled cash with touching the inside of my drinking cup! Large spring rolls and hot tea started our meal, planned with help from our knowledgeable waitress. Springtime means *asparagus* for us, so my dh ordered T11, which had lots of tender asparagus and fresh,quartered, button mushrooms. The large serving didn't stop him from quickly finishing his plate (beautiful, glazed ceramic squares, btw, a welcome change from the plastic dishes often used at small eateries). I wanted wide rice noodles, so the Vietnamese Spicy Noodle came to me. The sauce was fabulous, with enough chili to pique the other flavors without overpowering them and the right consistency to hang momentarily before dripping back onto the plate. I appreciate having the sauce as a component of the dish, not an overbearing coating on each ingredient and this was perfect! We ordered both menu items with tofu, which was very fresh. Very good Vietnamese food for Kitsap County. We just moved up here from So Cal so we've been searching for decent Vietnamese food. I grew up with Vietnamese food from Orange County so nothing really compares. However, with that said, the food is delicious and authentic. The portion is generous and the price is good.
