    Rad Nah with Shrimp

Love that this place was open for Veteran's Day. The staff is always kind and attentive. It's nice and quiet and the food does have authentic flavors and ingredients. I am Thai and not all Thai restaurants use Chinese broccoli, but this one does! That's why I often order the Rad Nah for this reason. Even my mom likes coming here (grew up in Thailand, super particular). My husband also loves the curries here!

Heard the boat noodles are very popular here so we gave it a try and liked it a lot. We also ordered curry, wings, sticky rice and pad see ew. Food rolled out all at once which was convenient. Service didn't take too long since it wasn't busy at the late afternoon I went on a Sunday. Everything was super tasty and flavorful. The only con was some chirping noise that kept going off while we were eating that felt distracting. And the TV volume was barely on so it felt quiet.

I went to Heare for a quick lunch upon recommendation from a work colleague. She usually gets the boat noodles and states that it's the best in the Sacramento area. I didn't try them, but I did have the fish cakes and Thai style tom ka coconut chicken soup. The fish cakes were small, but a decent size for a single person and very tasty. I like the mildly spicy sauce that accompanied it. The coconut soup was too watery for my liking, but the ingredients were delicious. There was plenty of parking for a small to medium size restaurant. I will try something different if I go back.

Excellent food, authentic flavors & good portions! Drunken noodles had a good charred flavor (wok hey)

The best Thai food I have ever had! I got to try so many new dishes, and I loved it! The inside of the restaurant has plenty of open walkway space because tables are placed near the walls. It is surprisingly bigger inside than I thought with a good amount of seating. Customer service was great, and food came out fast. Our server reread the orders to make sure everything is correct because they have a policy that does not allow remakes or refunds on incorrect orders. A waiter also came by a few times to refill our waters. The food portions are pretty generous and everything is so flavorful and delicious! I got a small Thai boat noodle combination, and it was just the right amount because I was stuffed after finishing it and eating some of the appetizers. The broth is unique and amazing. I saved my leftover soup to make more noodles the next day. The beef larb and papaya salad had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The chicken noodle was a little oily, but still very yummy! I am already planning my next visit because I want to try their khao poon.

Thai Boat size Small, it's literally size small. Large is the regular bowl size.

Raw beef laarb is mid. Asked for bitter, but seems like they mixed both sour and bitter together. Very salty, I can taste a lot of fish sauce. Portion is big though. The Thai boat smells good, but the taste is alright. Doable. They already dress it with bean sprouts and don't bring out any other vegetable condiments.

Order the papaya salad medium spicy, chicken laab, whole deep fried tilapia, pad Thai and a side of sticky rice. The food was amazing , the place is quiet and family friendly. My favorite was the deep fried tilapia with their chili sauce, it hit the spot . Their pad Thai noodles was a bit saucy but it was flavorful. Every thing was excellent

Good portions, good prices. We got boat noodles, pad see ew & pad thai. Everything was great! Boat noodles needed just a little more and the chili flakes provided helped it a lot. Pad see ew was perfect, usually people make it too sweet but it was a good balance. Chicken in both noodle dishes were tender. Pad thai was saucy and exactly how i like it. Quiet place, refilled your water a lot. Would come back again!

Minimal parking. Lots of indoor dining. Could definitely use an update. Everything looks a bit run down. Service was decent. The boat noodles was pretty good (tip: get the large, the small is more of a child size than anything). The pad thai is made fresh to order. Definitely one of the better items here. I would not recommend the pineapple fried rice. The rice was a bit bland and the toppings was too bulky. This was not my first time here and won't be my last.

This place feels pretty authentic! The etched wood is really nice and there are a lot of Thai pictures and decor inside. I did enjoy the boat noodles but I feel like it didn't really taste like boat noodles. Tasted more like pho. The spice level here is definitely on the higher side, so if you are not great on the spice, you might not want to get a high level of spice. The pad se ew I got was good - I really liked the Chinese broccoli in this. I think the fish cake app was good, but it was just fried fish cakes and nothing to write home about. I might try some other stuff from here in the future.

If you want authentic Thai food, this is your spot. It's a hole in the wall with a tiny parking lot, so I can see why this would be a popular take out spot. The inside isn't really appealing, but the food is where they shine. If your food isn't spicy enough, they do offer a spice rack as well with different pickled thai chilis, jalapenos, dry chili, etc. You know a Thai/Lao spot is legit when they even have sugar on the table lol IYKYK. Their spice levels are Thai spicy so if you're normally a medium somewhere else, make sure you go one level down. Thai boat noodle here comes in two sizes, but get a large unless you're weak haha It comes with all the good stuff in the combination version but if you don't like tripe and tendon (like me) there is an option for just meat or meatballs. The broth is so deep, rich and flavorful even without anything added. My parents loooove the thai boat noodle here, and will make it a point to stop here for lunch/dinner any time they're in the area. I hardly ever order crab rangoon but I was in the mood for something cheesy this day. This was a solid choice because their version is pretty dang good. There is hardly any green onion or crab, it's really all cream cheese, but it's sweet and creamy and really yummy with the sweet dipping sauce they provided on the side. I would get this again. My sister and I decided to share the drunken noodles and the Pad Prik King with chicken. We decided on medium spicy for both but lemme tell you... this would be considered hot or Thai hot in other Thai restos. It was so damn spicy but it hurt so good! The rice noodles they use are sooo thick and silky, and they were so generous with all the meat, veggies and noodles. The pad prik king is basically a green bean stir fry. The green beans in this were nice and crunchy but the chicken was a bit dry. Entrees do not come with rice so make sure you order a side of rice to go with this. Portion sizes are large and great for sharing! Thai tea was creamy and sweet, and perfect to wash down all the spice we were inhaling. Never a bad choice if you want something other than water. This isn't a place to bring your first date, but it's a low key hidden gem.

Haven't been here in so many years since whoever owned it the last time. Gave it another try and the food was pretty good. We are always on a hunt for the best boat noodles here in Sac. So far this place isnt bad at all for it.

Good seasoning and texture. It was a good portion size as well. Melissa and Jonathan had the gyoza. They were stuffed full of meat, but I felt like the seasoning was a little less than and also they were unevenly cooked. I still tried one though because a gyoza is a gyoza. As my main, I had the karamiso ramen with a spicy miso based broth with seasoned ground chicken, veggies and chili threads for an extra kick. I enjoyed this bowl of ramen. It was the perfect level of spice. I am partial to ground meat in ramen, so I liked that this was an option. The veggies were cooked al dente which I appreciated, and the broth was filling and flavorful. The noodles were thin which is my favorite type. Attentive service here. My wife got the Aka Red Tonkotsu ramen, the broth was definitely lighter, and the spice level was abut the same as the one I got. To all my canto peeps, this will be the place where you feel like home. However a tad variation of preferences to taste buds. My family is from a different area from the Mr. with a different flavor profile than his. So here is our take: braised beef noodle soup - we loved but the Mr. loved it more. Soup reminded me of shoyu ramen with garlic. Simple, soothing and flavorful. I loved it but it was missing a few spices I am personally used to such as more spice mix and pickled mustard greens. House Fried Rice (Thursday special) - this was simple yet satisfying. With shrimp and Chinese sausage in it. Carb overload but it was such a comfort food we cant help but finish it. House soup dumplings which we also liked but again he loved this one more also. Again, simple yet flavorful, clean comfort food while i felt the skin was a tad thicker than what I prefer. So this one depends on your preferences. Regardless, this was still good. Ambiance: clean and welcoming. They have a TV screen to highlight their food items with pictures which I always love to help me find what i want to eat. But wont lie, it makes me want to get every item on there. They all look yummy. Service: Its a family run restaurant and one person serving everyone plus seating and taking the bill. So during rush hour, do expect wait times but I completely understand and don't mind it. I can see they are busy and would rather than go to a place that is slow where the server walks like a sloth. That is always an eye sore to me. Cost: prices are reasonable and same to any other places similar. Parking is in a huge plaza and can be crowded during rush hour but still enough just may need to walk further a bit. If we ever travel this way again, will definitely be back!
