Was excited to try this out and they didn't disappoint! Ordering was easy at the kiosk, be sure you choose a table with enough seating and you sit at the table number you chose. A little cat robot will bring your food (accompanied by an employee) and it's set up to go to the table number you put down so if you sit elsewhere it won't come to you. (But the employee will still make sure you get your food!) I ordered the pho just without meat and it was super tasty! Chopsticks forks napkins and spoons are at your table and an employee will bring drinks to you. Their Thai tea was amazing, my husband got BBQ pork rice plate with a strawberry lemonade. Best Pho place in town!! Also haven't really had pho anywhere else in Watsonville. Service is basically self serve to order but I like it interface is easy. If you would like person to person contact they do have 1 cashier. Food is made fairly quickly and the times I've gone it has been made great. Boba here is also fire as well. Ambiance is good people are not too loud here which is great. Brings a more relaxed vibe. read more

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and I really enjoyed it. First time I used the ordering kiosk, so that took an extra minute. Got the #28/Brisket and it came out in about 5 minutes. Good flavor, delicate broth and lot's of tender, thin sliced beef. Place was very clean and appeared to be well kept. Around here ( I know, "not SJ"), I think this is one of the better places. First off I have never written a bad review or even written a review to begin with. Generally, I just don't have the time...this is different as I feel compelled. I thought it was a bit weird they did not serve bun thit nuong as my wife does not typically eat Pho...whatever no big deal. We order combination chow mein. The chicken that was in it, even though very thinly sliced was tough, tasteless and basically inedible. The spring rolls were not bad but I have had much better. After roughly 10min of waiting for the pho after my wife was served we were pretty much done. Not one server came to check on us, refill water or even see how my non existent dinner was. We left after a nice "complaint" in which they gave us a few dollars off the food we did not eat. I could only hope this is a fluke experiences as I don't want businesses to fail but wow they missed on every single mark. read more

My family ordered from Pho Kitchen yesterday (1/29) and we were blown away. We ordered the tofu spring rolls, a BBQ pork vermicelli bowl, and a BBQ shrimp vermicelli bowl and everything was fresh, well-portioned, and delicious. My lone critique of the spring rolls is that they were missing fresh herbs like Thai basil, cilantro, and mint that would have made them even better. The peanut sauce was lacking a bit of acid, but a squeeze of lime juice and some Sriracha made it very nice. The stars of the night were the vermicelli bowls, which were practically perfect. They came with lots of aromatic toppings, ground peanuts, and a lovely, sweet-tart dressing to top everything off. My shrimp bowl was the best non-sushi, non-Mexican meal I've had in Watsonville in years, and I am so excited that this place opened! So happy this spot has re-opened. I had tried this spot in the past once I started working down here from Cupertino. And previous owners did not know what they were doing. As for now amazing pho broth and more authentic. I only get a 30 minute break so I appreciate there swift efficient services. I've been here twice now and have been pretty happy both times. It is nice to have a Vietnamese option in Watsonville and plus they have boba drinks on the menu. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very nice. The food is really good. You can tell the ingredients are very fresh and the shrimp and avocado spring rolls were the best I have had. Good size portions, all of the dishes we have tried are a delight but my favorites are the shrimp noodle soup and the shrimp spring rolls. The pho is good broth I've had both noodles now and both are very good I lean a bit towards the egg noodles and not by much. If your going for first time might want to get kids size for soup if you do Boba and soup. The salads are very good in flavor! Egg roll with chicken or beef don't matter loved both. Amazing food! The restaurant is extremely clean and very spacious. Everything we ordered was fresh and good. The tofu was served differently from other Vietnamese spots, they slice the tofu to make it look like chicken, I love that! The flavors were spot on, and the menu has many options for vegetarians.
