I was having a crazy craving for pho on a cold annd rainy day this week and turned to my fellow yelpers for their recommendations. Walked in to find a few tables with patrons and employees in the back end of the building who saw me walk in however didn't acknowledge me. I proceeded to review the menu on the wall and read to order I needed to use one of three kiosks. I proceeded to order the combination #25 and a light iced tea. I quickly set up a number at my table and proceeded to their restroom to wash my hands. As soon as I approached my table an employee approached me with a bowl asking if this is where I was sitting. I looked up at him and thanked him for bringing my food and he walked off. A female employee quickly walked over with the sauces and utensils. At this point I was excited to have been served so quickly. I doctored up my pho with lots of hoisin and hot sauce along with basil and sprouts only to still find it still needed more oomph. I requested more lemon and a chili oil to help me add just the right touch. As soon as I started mixing it all up I realized the noodle to meat and broth ratio was just not there. I'm used to more noodles and more than two pieces of each protein. My iced tea was the last item to arrive at my table and had more ice than tea although I had clearly requested light ice. I have to say for the price I paid I expected the food to be better along with the portion. Good service and I like the ambience and overall tone of the place. I would consider some music though because you can hear almost everything. I ordered the number 13 combination pho which wasn't bad but it wasn't the greatest. The broth lacked flavor and did have to add sauce to it. Even then it was missing something. I did want to ask for fish sauce but didn't want to bother them. They do have a lot of different things on the menu and would like to try those. I'm from out of town but was craving pho so I looked up some places around Monterey and found this place with pretty good stars that's why I decided to drive half an hour to try it. First off, the ordering was easy enough. The place is cute and small. But, the lack of condiments on the table was something I'm not used to in pho shops. The pho I got was the #25 I think? The combination with meatballs. I was expecting a little of everything but my pho was missing tripe. Had to ask for chili oil and my request for extra lemons while ordering at the kiosk was ignored as I only got one wedge. Wish they gave out more jalapeños with their veggies but at last, I only got to eat all my pho with four slices of fresh jalapeños. For being Watsonville, it wasn't a bad place to grab pho. read more

Fried calamari appetizer obviously made from frozen steaks, but cooked to tender perfection. We got takeout and, based on the demeanor of the cashier, I'm guessing that the service is not especially friendly. Their beef rib pho was delicious - although, I wished their ribs were more seasoned with the pho broth (tasted pretty bland, unlike the soup). I found this place through my iphone map, tried it, and was extremely satisfied with the food, the serving size, and the service. They have kiosks where you can punch in your order and just wait for it to be done - like some bigger fast food chains do! As for me, I ordered online. The place is clean. And the business center where it is located is easy to navigate - even for those who are just passing by through the freeway. I would definitely add them to my favorites should I crave for pho, or some Vietnamese rolls, or fried rice again. The reasonable price is definitely a plus. I've been here before to try the pho, which was very tasty. I decided to try out one of the rice plates with some egg rolls. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the food. I wrapped the egg rolls in lettuce and dipped them in the fish sauce, a delightful combination. The boba was really good, I ordered mine at 75% sweetness which may have been a little too much for my taste. I will say the price I paid for everything was a bit much. $6 boba is a good price but, $24 for the rice plate was a bit high. read more

We heard many good food reviews about this place so we thought we give it a try. We were there for on a Sunday evening, it wasn't very busy, the restaurant was half full. We seat ourselves, waited a bit to get the wait staff's attention. I wanted beef stew noodle soup but was told they were out of beef stew so we order pho with beef, pork chop rice plate and shrimp spring roll. The soup broth was clear with mild flavor, the noodles were al dente and the beef were a good quality. As for the pork chop rice, the pork chop had good flavoring and was juicy. All in all the food was good but not special or exceptional. We would stop in again the next time we are in Watsonville. Now for the service, it was definitely not attentive. We had to ask twice before getting water and no one came by to check in for additional needs. We just didn't feel anyone was around see if we needed anything else. This place is awesome....the pho is clean and flavorful. The bunn, chow meals are excellent. The restaurant is very clean and up dated. The staff is helpful and nice. A very cool thing is the food delivery robot.....it finds your table and brings the food out to you.....a server will place your food in front of you.....You order off of a large screen and included as many add on's like sliced white marinated white onions to your pho, spicy broth, extra veggie or meat and many more......it's nice to pay first and tip last. I love Pho and when I'm craving it I get it here! I order the tofu and vegetables.. they have a spicy broth option which I tried and it was perfect ..not extremely spicy but had a nice kick to it. I get an extra side of vegetables and am able to make 2 meals out of my one order. It's got a wonderful flavor and they give you lots of noodles which I like.. First visit on a Sunday for lunch. Ordered fresh shrimp roll, bbq pork egg roll salad bowl and boba Thai iced tea. All very tasty! Waitstaff was friendly and helpful answering questions and all were pleasant. I appreciated the table spacing, high ceilings (COVID) and simple calm decor. Many restaurants play loud music and have bright, flashy decor. This was a refreshing change. They might want to add a little soft music because the place was very quiet since there were not a lot of diners at this hour. I have been looking for a local Pho place near Aptos for 2 years. I was excited to see the 4.5 star reviews. When I walked in they had a brand new ordering touchscreen. I placed my order and said I wanted to sit outside with my dog. The food came out and this is where it went down hill. My good came all packaged and the broth was cold. Not warm...it was cold. My server never checked on me the whole time I was seated. I decided the broth was too cold that I would just have it at home, 1) why did my food come out to go? 2) how can I be charged for $30 for cold broth and no lemons ? We got vegetarian pho with tofu and gluten free fake ham, chili lemongrass tofu rice plate, avocado spring rolls and tofu spring rolls. Brisket, meatballs and the broth were tasty. 4/5 stars. Deducted one star because my bowl did not have tripe, when that's the reason I ordered this dish. Also got a chicken sandwich which was also very good, especially with the veggies, 3.5/5 stars. Wish it could have more cucumber and veggies. Very glad we finally have a Vietnamese cuisine/pho place in Watsonville. The restaurant has a very clean, welcoming aesthetic that was well lit. We were seated promptly when we came in. My impression was that they seemed a bit understaffed and did not expect the high number of guests on their opening day. It was understandable though, and I'm sure the service will improve. I'm glad many showed up to support this business. We ordered the beef pho and some vermicelli bowls with pork and chicken. Our party really enjoyed the vermicelli bowls, which had generous portions. Pho finally comes to Watsonville and I couldn't be happier! Now, they did have their issues, I was one of the first to get there and still waited over an hour to get my food (though they did compensate for this!)--it was obvious that they were a little underprepared for their opening day. Not to hold that against them because the FOOD is so good. I ordered the vegetarian pho which was AMAZING. I'm used to very poor, hot water and a vegetable cube type broth, but pho kitchen actually makes a vegetable broth with flavor. They could cook it a little longer and add more of the pho spices (anise, cloves, and cinnamon) but I was very happy with their broth otherwise. Additionally, the portion size is traditional for a pho place even with take out. My friend got their early as well and was able to order a pork bahn mi before they switched to pho only! He liked it though he mentioned it could have used a sauce or could have used more spice/flavor on the pork itself. I got a mango fruit tea with mango popping boba which was perfect. The boba was a little on the chewy/harder side and not mushy which is great and the popping boba was very refreshing. The iced coffee had a little too much ice--I'd recommend ordering it with less ice. Overall, I'd give them five stars for making a vegetable broth with flavor, the ambiance of the restaurant is very nice, and the staff is very friendly --albeit extremely stressed With the pandemic all places are understaffed so please be kind and know that there may be an extended wait but the food is worth it! read more

Really good, I had the spring rolls,#5 tofu as well as the #3 shrimp and avocado, and the beef stew rice noodle soup. The beef and carrots were tender, and the broth was full of flavor. I ordered spicy with extra onions and cilantro, I also added Huy Fong chili garlic. I ordered to go, and everything was packaged well, but I can see myself eating inside too, it looked clean and roomy. One of my new favorite spots in Watsonville! Came in last night and ordered the pork bahn mi and combination pho. The giant iphone looking screens were intimidating but actually super easy to use, the food was ready about 15 minutes later! The soup broth was saran wrapped and double bagged so no spills! Everything tasted great I was sad we didnt think to order another bahn mi cos we ate it really fast. I also ordered food here when the business first opened, my order was incorrect and when I called to let them know they apologized, told me to keep the incorrect order and invited me to pick up the correct order and they threw in two free appetizers.
