Went to buy beef tendon soup and when I was about to eat it I noticed only 3pieces of tendon. Not to mention I paid $3.50. Just for an extra 3 pieces (cut in very small cubes). I'm not expecting the whole meat. But not worth it's $3.50 for extra tendon. When I called they were very rude & said they added tendon and that it was not a rip off since it's expensive for them. If an item is going to be expensive for their business at least add what the customer is paying extra for & not 3 little small cubed pieces In the soup or discontinue the item. Instead of making the customer spending extra money on what they're not going to be worth for. Please advise the customer of what you're serving them since the customer has a say so how to spend their money as well. Don't surprise them. read more

This place is ridiculous, the service sucks, people are rube there, they messed up my order and on top of that forgot to make one of my orders so i had to wait 36 minutes all together i also ordered 2 bobas from there they made them before the food was ready so then when i got them, they were nasty. I ended up going home not knowing they didn't put the toppings in the bag so i called them and they said they were going to make my whole order again so i drove up there and they lied and said they couldn't and wouldn't do that. When I'm general said they would and the guy said he's not making new ones for me and gave me egg rolls then, they were burnt. Horrible store policy when handling customer issues. A simple matter that could have been handled with a simple "Sorry we'll do better next time, and for the inconvenience, we'll issue _______." Instead turned into a full blown argument with the inexperienced, poorly trained, teenage cashier who thinks they are qualified to call themselves a store manager. The owners of this establishment has to fix their policy fast or they'll find themselves going broke soon. The food is sub-par considering the high mall price they charge. The service should be retrained and given better tools to deal with customer complaints. This is not about getting money or time back that was wasted on this restaurant. But rather a call to management to service your customers and train your staff better. It's clear your only goal is to make money when you took over this place. The former owners were much better and knew how to provide customer satisfaction. Shame on the new owners for hiring unqualified staff and providing a store policy that does not help the customers in any way. I honestly go here for their bobas & i love it. It is a little pricy in my opinion, compared to other places where you can get larger, fresh boba drinks for a cheaper price but since it's the only boba place I would consider going at the high desert, It's okay! One thing that I do have a little problem with is that, it does take a while to finish orders, even when there's not a lot of people waiting but other than that, that's it! The only reason they get a 1 star is because their smoothies & teas are good. Location is amethyst & bv rd. The pho is okay. We ordered a beef dish & it was mainly gristle & fat. Our napkins were full of the inedible stuff. We couldnt even finish the dish. The service is not good at all. Our waiter kept making mistakes & saying "my bad". I have never been to the location inside the mall, this review is for the location on amethyst and bear Valley Road. I couldn't find a separate one for that location. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because the Thai tea Boba was good. We also ordered salt and pepper shrimp and Vietnamese eggrolls. I was told that the food was going to take 15 minutes. Totally OK with that, and after 15 minutes we got our drink. I figured the food still need a little bit of time and they were busy so that's fine too, but after waiting 45 minutes I decided to ask about when my order was going to be done. She went to the kitchen to ask and came back and said it would be another 15 to 20 minutes. To be honest, I don't even think they were getting my order ready they totally forgot about me. And the girl making the drinks That took my order saw me sittingThere and never once decided to check on my order. I canceled the food and they gave me a refund. Getting home my order was completely messed up I called to tell them they said they would redo my order if I came back there and which I did because who doesn't want food their food remade. Which I got their and showed the receipt the guy said no I won't do that for you even though my order got messed up and told me to come back. I was going to order the pho, but noticed someone else eating it and noodles were not even al dente - which means the broth wasn't hot enough to cook it all the ways through. So I skipped it and decided to get a spring roll and Vietnamese coffee. Spring roll - average. Two come in an order for about $4. They are small, but okay. The sauce could use more peanut in my opinion. Vietnamese coffee - tasted like a Mochalatta chill. Way to sweet for this drink! I can't say that the service was slow because everyone behind me got their food and all I did was order a sandwich. It was damn near 45 minutes until I got my sandwich. The young man at the register was sincere with the apologies and even gave me my money back which I can appreciate but it's still unacceptable. For a food place at the mall at that, why was it such a long wait just for a sandwich? It was truly frustrating to see everyone who ordered after you get their food before you. For the amount of a wait I could've gotten my sandwich at a actual restaurant and probably faster too. Then to top it off, it wasn't even good and it was burnt. The drinks and sandwiches were a lil over priced. The pork sandwich tasted great, had a few chunks of greasy fat meat sections. Willing to return to try the Pho, but if portions are small like this I'll probably be going elsewhere for my noodle fix. The lychee green tea was a little too sweet for my taste, but good nonetheless, however I think it's small for $6. We called to check how late they were open and they told us until 9pm. Great we were driving from Apple Valley to Victorville got there at 8:15pm we sat down then we're told they were only taking to go orders cause they are closing early for thanksgiving which is tomorrow by the way. Most of the tables were full of people, yet the are only doing to go orders while telling us on the phone they are open until 9pm. Then they tell us they are closing early cause of Thanksgiving yet it wasn't even Thanksgiving. On top of that they were still taking to go orders yet telling us they are closing early. Pholicious started years ago here in the mall and has gone through a few different proprietors. I love Pho Bellwood, but I knew due to the Mall's operating hours that they wouldn't last, that was the last time I ate here. A coworker of mine recently lauded about how good the pho is here, that the broth is made fresh overnight. So, I gave it a try on 6/23 and now I'm back again 6/25. I admit when it comes to noodle soups such as ramen and pho, I'm in it mostly for the noodles and meat/veggies. I don't typically finish the broth. There really is something about this broth that I cannot get enough of. It's delicious, I've finished it both times. Pay no mind of the texture of the beef balls from an earlier review, they're just like others I've had from several pho restaurants. You must get the big bowl. It looks small, but it's filling. I'd go as far to say Pholicious is probably the best "healthiest" option in the food court next to the sub standard Mongolian Grill (we really need a real one up here, like Big Wok). In closing, this Pho is very delicious, but you don't have to take my word for it as everyone's palate is different, but if you enjoy Pho soup, I urge at least trying it. They have several other items on the menu as well from vermicelli stir fry to banh mi sandwiches. Staff is friendly, orders can take a bit if they're backed up, but both times my wait was around five minutes. I feel the prices are just a tad high, but this is offset by convenience and more importantly (in my opinion) quality. Five stars from me! read more

Watch their hand hygeine!!! I came here yesterday and as I was waiting patiently to place my order, I watched as the girl accepted cash payment from a consumer. She was wearing gloves, ok, that's good if she's going to handle food afterwards.... but then.... without removing her gloves, she goes to the little oven to check on whatever she was heating, and touches the food with the SAME gloves she used to handle the money!!! There is no point in using gloves if you aren't practicing good hand hygeine. And if the front of the house has such bad hand hygeine practices, it makes me question how the back of the house is! Oh...and their vegetarian pho is made with chicken broth. I'm sorry but that is not vegetarian. It z needs to be renamed. Better flavor than Pho Belwood, in my opinion! Also love the variety of veggies, including cauliflower. My only disappointment is that they just serve sriracha as a spice, not any chili paste. But for mall food, especially pho, Pholicious is amazing and deserves your time and hunger! read more

We miss the original pho belwood! After telling us they moved we decided to try it out despite the odd mall location. The young cashier working (if you want to call it that) was apparently too busy and more concerned with talking to some girls rather than helping us. When we finally got to ordering, I tried to purchase a bowl without any meats (my kids preference). But he said he couldn't (????). How hard to just omit any meat? We ended up cancelling our order and leaving. Wish we could go back to the good old restaurant style pho. Belwood WAS the best in the area without having to go to LA. The setting meant a lot. Having moved here feels out of place for this particular kind of meal. Who knows maybe we'll try again another time whenever we catch the owners there rather than this kid. read more
