Pho Mai was a very positive dining experience. My son and I both got the rare steak option, and it was absolutely what we were looking for on a cool night. The broth tasted fantastic, and there was plenty of it. There was a generous amount of toppings. The heat of the broth survived the delivery, so everything was cooked perfectly when we put it all together. In addition, we found it to be very reasonably priced. I was there once was with my family and friend. Even though the restaurant was kind of small, the atmosphere was very cozy. The food was so scrumptious, especially "banh xeo" and that is my favorite. Pho broth had a little more oil than other places but the broth was very beefy which I enjoyed, the subtle aromatics were present. The broth focuses on the deep flavor from the bones and meat. It was a solid bowl of pho, definitely coming back. read more

This place is amazing. I tried it because I saw it had so many stellar DoorDash reviews and I'm so glad I did. I've tried several Vietnamese restaurants in the area and this one is by far my favorite. Every dish we got was spectacularly delicious. They were out of an item I ordered and they substituted it with a tofu dish. At first I thought fit was crazy to pay $9 for a tofu dish but once I tried it, I absolutely will order it again. So tasty! Can't wait to go back! I may need to move out of the area soon but I will for sure make the drive to visit this place. It's that good. Try it, you'll love it! Pho was super tasty! Staff was VERY friendly, offered to split our girls soup for us before bringing it to the table. Got the number 3 with steak and meatballs which is my fave anywhere but the broth here is so bomb!! My friends got the number 3 with brisket and another with tripe and meatballs. They're from San Diego and admitted it was better then their favorite place there. Will definitely be back again. New owners re-did the entire inside and looks very nice, open, and clean! This restaurant is excellent. I was really impressed by the tofu Pho with veggie broth, and fresh rolls. We also ordered young fresh coconuts which really quenched are thirst after being out all day in the sun. The place was busy with to go orders and sit down guests. They recently opened in March. This is NOW my go-to place for pho. I get the chicken pho, which I end up shredding since their pieces are more like slices. They do get busy and may have to wait 20 minutes that's not the issue. The issue is the parking. The parking lot is ALWAYS busy, not sure what else is around that draws so many cars, but parking there is not easy to find. There is seating inside and it appears they are doing a good job at distancing tables, but I've never eaten inside. I've only had to-go. They do a nice job of packing your items. I feel like they give you a decent amount of everything, basil, onion, jalapenos, noodles, and broth. It helps that this place is down the street from my house and with the cold weather, lately, it soothes the soul...pho-sure! read more

Had Door Dash pick this up... ordered one XL bowl of the Pho Special for $38 with all taxes, tips, and fees. Anticipated the most expensive pho I ever bought was going to be amazing. Result: bland broth, no siracha or hoisin sauce included, two tiny pieces of tendon, one small piece of tripe. I did get an acceptable amount of rare beef... the beef balls were good. Came to Phoenix for a few days and had to order uber eats. I HATE eating pho when I'm not at the restaurant, but this place was so good, I'd do it again. Got the oxtail pho, chicken pho, and spring rolls. Everything was amazing, fresh, and delicious. I ordered through a delivery service and that transaction went well. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and chicken pho. It was packaged well and hot on arrival. The spring roll was just shrimp and greens..no carrots, or anything extra in it. The sauce was good. The pho broth was delicious but lots of the rest was just ok. There was plenty of noodles and been sprouts but no lemons/limes or onions. this is officially my vietnamese spot in chandler! super authentic cuisine with a wide variety of options. im more of a bun than a pho person, and so many places fail to deliver but pho mai's bun special with pork and shrimp was amazing and reminded me of being back in hanoi. my partner enjoyed the steak pho immensely. we did ubereats and it was very fast and packaged nicely. will definitely try again and branch out. read more

We were driving around Chandler city area planning to go to our usual Vietnamese restaurant not realizing they are close on Mondays, then we tried the next on the list of Vietnamese restaurant close by that I have yelp, just so happens the establishment is no longer in business, next on the list is the Pho Mai, I reckon if this too is close or no longer in business then that pretty much is a sign not have any Vietnamese food tonight, luckily this one is open for business and dine in is available. The server was very pleasant especially when she found out that this is our first time, she recommended a couple of specials we may want to try a they are considered their staple food. We end up ordering some of what was recommended and we of course the main reason to have Pho Soup. Both the food item we ordered( ban ciao and Pho special P1) taste good, although the soup base is a little on the oily side overall they are very tasty, enough to satisfy our Vietnamese food cravings. read more
