We enjoyed our meals here from lunch - dinner. Eggrolls are a must to try. Good customers!

I love this place and have been coming here since they opened several years ago. I usually get the rare beef pho, though the rice/noodle "salad" is also good as is the meat lover's pho. For sides, I love the summer rolls and spring rolls, though the summer rolls are occasionally soggy/inedible. For desert, the cheesecake spring rolls are amaaazing. I usually call in a to-go order because the interior is kinda bland and the seating not especially comfortable or intimate. How are they doing, from a customer's perspective, during the pandemic shut down? Hours: They're operating their usual 6 days a week. They're doing that split shift schedule a lot of places are doing where they're open for a few hours for lunch and a few hours for dinner. Menu: They're offering their full menu, including beer and Vietnamese drinks. Ease of ordering: Ordering is very convenient. If you're picking up, you can call in your order or submit it via GrubHub. If you want delivery, you need to use GrubHub. The downside of GrubHub is it does not include the full menu. Contactless service: Pho Me shines here. If you order online or over the phone, you can pay with your card and no one is going to ask you to sign a receipt. If you're picking up your order, you can either go inside the restaurant or let them know you're waiting in your car. A masked server will hand you your food.

Bun Bo Hue and Hu Tieu. This picture was taken before we started eating, but the bowls were barely over halfway full :(

Was recommended this place by one of my Asian friends as a place to get cheap pho, but was a bit disappointed. The atmosphere reminds me of the pho restaurants my Vietnamese parents would always take me to as a kid. I felt as though the soup broth was a bit bland. Also, the peanut sauce for the summer rolls tasted a little too peanut buttery. It wasn't too bad, and I was willing to come back again if I was craving pho. We returned a couple weeks later. They charge an extra 5% "pandemic fee" but don't advertise this anywhere, so I didn't realize this until I looked very closely at the receipt. I had bun bo hue and Trevor tried hu tieu for the first time. The bun bo hue was pretty decent, but Trevor was disappointed by the blandness of the hu tieu. Our portions seemed smaller than I remembered from a couple weeks ago; they didn't even fill up our bowls all the way. Trevor left hungry. Disappointed that we were overcharged and underwhelmed.

Good hole in the wall place off the beaten path. They have a pretty good size menu to choose from. I had roasted chicken Phò and the fresh spring rolls. The Phò was white meat, flavorful, and the perfect size! The spring rolls were huge. Thicker than I usually find at restaurants. A nice surprise. They were the standard pork and shrimp. Very good! Order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. They accept credit cards. Great place, I will be back!

Small and tucked away in a shopping center you might miss this if you did not know better. I had pho before and knew that I needed guidance. The employee that was up front was super helpful and explained each broth and the different ingredients that you could use to build your bowl. I tried the spicy beef broth and it was delicious. I also tried my friend's vegan curry bowl and really liked it too. I want to go back and try the others as well.

    Much to be desired.

My favorite Vietnamese spot was closed, they were near my house, so I took a shot with them. No thanks to a second attempt. I ordered the House Pho. The broth had NO flavor. It thought I was drinking hot, beef-flavored water. Cha Gho, the spring rolls. tasted soggy, and I am not a fan of the dairy "thai" sauce. Thai tea...eh. Customer service...sure, it was good. Pho, uhm NO.

Cheap ingredients. All meats are sliced very thin. Meat ball is chewy (tendons). Lots of bean sprout short on basil.

Great homegrown restaurant. Delicious food and fair prices. Excellent for takeout. We eat here almost every week.

Although no one was at the front when I first arrived, the owner quickly came out, seated me, and checked in throughout my meal to make sure everything was going well. His hospitality set a great tone for the visit. My server, Romeo, was outstanding--friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain how hot pot works, helped set up my table, and offered excellent broth and food recommendations. The broth temperature was perfect, and everything cooked just right. The restaurant itself felt a bit dated, but the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Even though it was quiet and I was dining alone, the attentive service and conversation made the experience enjoyable. While the location is somewhat hidden in a storefront area, this spot has strong potential and could be a big hit in a college town like Tallahassee with FSU, TCC, and FAMU nearby. Overall, it was well worth the visit, and I would definitely recommend Volcano Hot Pot.
