We stopped in here because our regular pho place was closed. The staff were as nice as they could be but the food was abysmal. The pho ga was quite literally the worst I have ever had. They only had white meat, which was dry and tough, and the broth was thin and tasteless (this was at the end of the day, too, when broth should be the most flavorful). The shredded pork rolls were a mess, showering ingredients with every bite, & the pork was dry and tasteless like the chicken. The only bright spot was the iced lemon tea, which was refreshing, flavorful and not too sweet. They strived for a nice, light atmosphere, & while it was aesthetically pleasing with a nice color scheme & beautiful silk flower displays, the dining room was quite run down, & the chairs were *extremely* uncomfortable. Our tailbones & backs were quite sore when we left. I really do hate to leave such a negative review, but what we had was really not good. Some friends & I had eaten there 20 years ago, & all I remember was that we saw a rat in the dining room & never went back. IDK if the ownership is different now, but in a moment of desperation we tried it again. No rats this time, but no good pho either. It may well be that the other entrees are fantastic-- a white guy there told them his meal was "the best it's ever been", but IDK what he had. First thought: the food here is CRAZY cheap. My large pho and the rice dish (pork chop, cha trung, bi) were only over $8-ish. What!!!! They were very quick, too, and offered plenty of food in one portion. I will have to say though their food is okay--not good but not terrible. It's good for the price. Pho broth was bland so I had to add a lot of my own fish sauce + seasoning. The rice dish was definitely better in my opinion, but my partner did say the bì did not taste as good as he expected. We used to go here whenever we went to Fort Worth but never again. Change in ownership and food was terrible. Service bad. Dirty place now. Had pho with brisket and the meat was bad. Got terrible food poisoning from eating there. Now we're looking for a new place to eat. If you value your health stay away from this place. Service was bad also. Very unfriendly. Please stay away. Ph-Nam-enal! I ordered ahead over the phone and when I arrived it was ready and waiting. I ordered the #6 Ph which has steak, lean brisket & flank. The broth is where the Ph shines and the broth was amazing! The flavor hits your mouth immediately and the aroma to match. When ordering to go they provide you the noodles, meat in one container and the broth in another. They also include the bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, lime & both hoisen and sriracha sauces. The cons with taking Ph to go is that if you wait to long the noodles will stick and then they won't separate correctly once in the broth. So take that into consideration when ordering to go. When it comes to Ph, try not to get Ph to go. Over all the taste was pretty great. Oh! I also ordered some eggrolls but they didn't make it in the picture because they didn't make it home. This has always been our fav place to eat when in town and have been eating here for 20 yrs , the owners and employees always nice . Service has always been good along with the food BUT last week we ate here and different people working and the service sucked. My husband and his boss and I ordered the same thing plus spring rolls well we waited for like 30 mins only to finally get 1 not 3 but 1 meal out . We sat there and sat there till I got mad and went up to guy standing behind register ( that took our order by the way ) and told him we got only 1 meal . His words were oh really and went to back and about another 30 mins we finally got the other 2 meals . I had to ask for water and tea for us ,ridiculous.. What happened to their yelp page? I swear they had one? This restaurant was banging back in the early 90's and slowly lost its spark once the recession came in. They were the first pho restaurant that increased their pricing and the whole community lost their shit. People went to different places even tho it didn't taste as good, but it was true, they increased about 75 cents and I guess that was too much. Overall this place always had the best flavoring in my opinion. Their spring roll sauce cannot be beat, I think thy had a bit of liver in it so that it has this rich creamy taste. The rice plates is great, they marinate their meat with some rum and you can really taste the grill taste. I recommend the grilled shrimp! So good. The pho taste like home cooking. Not that much far in the sauce, great meats. Take a look at their menu and see the types of meat they offer. All the other places only have briskets, tendon and eye of round beef. If you want to try other meat that is good with pho, I really recommend the flanks and fatty flanks. Yum! I also really like their grilled chicken and sunny side up rice plate. I ordered the number 1 Pho and iced tea. The pho was average and I was never served tea. The waitress served my pho and then sat in her chair and never returned. Reminds me of when I was a child and my parents owned a store during the summer I ordered Pho with streak, Bo tai and Brisket and a grilled pork sandwich. They were both delicious. The broth had a good taste to it that really accented the bo tai. The bread was crispy and the grilled pork was very good, my only complaint was that it was a bit dry and that was resolved with some hoisin sauce. My girlfriend got the Pho Bo Kho and she loved it as usual. She has been bragging about how this place is the place where she makes all her comparisons, the standard. HORIBLE!! I don't recommend this place to anyone. This place is sooooo hot inside, it's "colder" outside in the Texas heat! The bathrooms have ZERO ventilation, it feels like a sauna... and they are so dirty. They have ceiling fans but they really don't help. When ordering, there was a language barrier which made it difficult but he seemed to understand what we were ordering. There were some pictures so we thought that would help but they didn't really help. When our food came, some of them looked nothing like the pictures and nothing like what we ordered. They got our food and drink orders wrong and acted like it was such an inconvenience to correct their mistakes. Horrible customer service. Also there was a freaking eyelash in my pho... so gross!! They definitely lost our business which is sad because we love pho and we eat it a lot. But we're never coming back. This is by far the best spot for pho around. It's no competition. The service is phenomenal and quick. No broth compares to their broth that can bring you to life on a rough day. My husband and I eat here at least once a week and are never disappointed. We're always greeted with a friendly smile and provided with the best service, no matter who is working. Wow, how things had changed. We use to live in Ft Worth and ate at this restaurant at least once a week for 4 years. Since moving away about 15 years ago, we would stop by and eat whenever we come through but today's visit was not so impressive. The food was absolutely poor. We could not even eat the pho. The spring rolls were also not good. The only thing that was half way decent was the sandwich. Will not be back here again.
